Well a good morning to you all!
I had a wonderful day off yesterday...just wish it wouldn't have gone by so quickly! Lee played hookie from work yesterday...called in and told Rob he wasn't feeling well. He was in for a bit yesterday to pick up his check....Rob was being a "butt whole"....but he'll just have to get over it! He has really been pusing Lee to the boiling point on some issues, so I don't think Lee was going to take much from him this morning, if Rob started on him.
I put on a big pot of spagetti sauce, and then yesterday afternoon, we all...the whole family, Lee, Me, Landon, Kenny, Gabriel, Kirk, Tara-Lee and Eva, all went to a state park just about 5 miles from our house, called Finger Lakes. We spent about 3 hrs. there, letting the "big" guys, and Kenny and Gabriel, go fishing. Gabriel, who is just 3, was soooooo excited...he caugh 3 fish...although, I've seen bigger fish at the pet store..hehehehe....he caught 3 little bitty blue gills. LOL But he could have cared less about the size...hehehehe He was tickled to death! After the fishing trip, we all came back to our house for spagetti dinner. We had a wonderful afternoon and evening, shared with our children and grandkids.
I have to work today, but am lucky that this is the weekend I'll have 3 days off in a row. It usually falls that way every other weekend. I have tomorrow, Sun., and Mon. off. I'm not sure what the plans are for tomorrow. Amanda has to work, and Landon gets bored at home alone all the time, so I told him I might drop out by his house tomorrow, or come get him and the boys and we'll all come to my house. Sunday, we're going to Lake of the Ozarks to meet Cheri, and pick up Moriah. She has been spending the week in El Dorado Springs, with Rachel...Cheri and Richard's daughter. The lake is about 1/2 way for both of us...just about 1 1/2 hr. trip....so that will help break it up, and not make it such a long trip on just one. I'm not sure what time we'll be headed that way...I need to call Cheri to find out. It's been really quiet at the house without Moriah here...I'm really missing her...but I hope she's had fun spending time at Cheri's. I think we'll be stopping at Landon's on our way home, and maybe hang out there for supper...Amanda works on Sunday's also.
I woke up this morning feeling like dog doo doo...lol My stomach feels like it's churning! I sure don't need this today! I hope it gets to feeling better before the day is over. Maybe it was my spagetti sauce...hehehehe
I hope Miss Mary is out of her bossy mood when I get to work today...I'm sure NOT in the mood to put up with her "know it all" attitude today!
I've been trying to add some new stuff to my blog....some of it has worked okay...but my page isn't laid out the way it should be, so I hope that those of you that visit, will overlook some of the problems until I can figure out what the deal is. I just can't get some of it to work right, and I'm not sure why. I'll keep messin' with it until I can work it out.
Well, guess I'll jump off here for now, and try to get a couple of things done before having to leave for work. I sure wish I didn't have to go! I'm like K....winning the lottery would sure be nice! There's nothing I'd like better than to call Concord Cleaners, and tell them to take a 'FLYIN' LEAP'! I'm sure that Lee would love to be able to tell Rob, his boss, the same thing. With lottery money, we could open our own jewelry store...which has always been a dream of ours. Of course... $100,000. isn't easy to come up with...and that's about what it would take to get one opened up and running! Oh well....probably a pipe dream....
