WELCOME
You have arrived in Lev's Notes. Hi, I'm Levonne, or Lev, as most call me online. I've tried to make this blog a mixture of things I can share, anything and everything that has to do with me. Whether it be expressed thoughts on something that is a part of me, or something that I love very deeply. You will see a variety here. Levonne:More About Me, is exactly what it say. Here you can read about my childhood, my faith, things that make up who I am, and where I came from. Bits and Pieces: Are special pages that are close to my heart. Things that mean alot to me, and are a very important part of my life. I live in the United States, in the midwestern state, Missouri. I have shared some wonderful links with you and tried to show you all that is a part of the beautiful "Show Me" state, that I live in. You will have access to my home pages, links to wonderful sites, from health, Christianity, to travel. I also share the links to web pages that I have designed, and also to the many wonderful groups of which I'm owner. Educational links to higher education here in Columbia, MO, where I live, and lastly, links to several ribbon campaigns that are close to my heart. I do hope that you enjoy the time you spend here, and I encourage you to return often, and visit those sites and links that you've not yet had a chance to. I trust that I have included wonderful links, beautiful music, stunning photos, and much more, that I know you will enjoy. And don't forget...my daily ramblings...all that is going on in my life from day to day. Hope that all this makes you know a little more about what makes Lev tick. Have a GREAT day! God Bless. Lev

Words from a 52 yr. old

So...how is everyone doing this morning? I hope your morning has started off good! My birthday's over...and here I am....a whole 52! Don't feel one bit different than I did 2 days ago. LOL!

I just finished getting ready for work, will need to leave in about an hour, so now, I'll be able to spend the rest of mine time here, before having to leave. Looks like I'm going to be stuck working the next 5 days in a row. Guess that's the price I pay for having the past 3 days off.

We got a call from our best friend, Cheri. She's invited us down to their house over the Memorial Weekend. I think we're gonna try and go. It has been several months since we've been there. She came down to see us a couple of weeks ago, so that she could visit awhile, and see Eva. So, it's definately our turn to head their direction. We will probably leave here Sat. evening, since I have to work, and will probably arrive about 10 that evening. It's about a 3 hr. drive from here, plus we'll stop for a quick bite to eat. So, we're definately looking forward to spending time with them. They are our dearest friends.

Well, it looks as though I'm going to find out today whether or not I'm going to be "Nana" again! Amanda took a preg. test a couple of days ago, and it came back positive. Boy...talk about mixed emotions!!!! Landon and Amanda's marriage isn't in the best of conditions....AT ALL! They already have 2 children, which we love dearly, and will, without a doubt, love another, should that be the case. But, this is just not the best timing in the world...at all! Or at least not from our perspective. But, this is one of those things that I'm going to have to trust God, in the decisions. His timing is definately different than ours. Things happen for a purpose...even if I, or others can't see them at the time. God knows the situation with their marriage...it has to be left in His hands. So, I ask for your prayers, that His will just be done in this situation. I love my grandchildren, .... and should there be another one on the way, my heart will delight, and be thrilled.

Well, Lee made a call yesterday about the part for the car, that we found out had gone bad. We were so afraid that it was going to be expensive. Lee had made the comment... "probably $200... who knows". So...we had about decided that the car was just not gonna be running right, for awhile. There was NO WAY I had another $200 to dump into it. Thank God, when he called...the part was only $47! So...we were able to get it, and hopefully, Lee can get it put on tonight. It just snaps in. Then, if all is well...both of our cars will be running the way they should..or at least VERY close to it, for the first time in about a yr. Boy...I just can't stand cars that don't work right. It would sure be nice if we could just afford to take them to someone to put them back into tip top shape. It would be even nicer, if we could afford another payment, and just get a different car. The buick has about 259,000 miles on it. we've put over 100,000 miles on it since we got it, about 5 yrs. ago. It's made 3 trips to Florida, a at least a couple to Indiana, if I recall. Not to mention the numerous places just here in Misssouri that we go. Anyway...I just hope that they will be back to par, now that we've gotten all this work done to them.

Friday is Moriah's last day of school. One of her teachers called the other day to tell me that she was going to be getting an award at the school tonight. She didn't tell me what it was for. So, we will be headed there as soon as I get off work. We're assuming that it will last about an hour. She is definately excited about school almost being over. She does enjoy her summers! It's sooooooo hard to believe that she will be in 10th grade when school starts up again. She has grown up, tooooo quickly! As I was talking yesterday, she should still be the little girl I would dress up, and put bows in her hair. And here she was...last night....helping me pick out what to wear, when Lee and I went to dinner. Ahhhhhhhhhhh....where did it go?

Well, I hope that all of you have a good day! I suppose I'll have as good a day as possible...having to work..hehehehe. Mary was talking the other day about bring a taco cassarole...or something she makes...to work today. So, maybe if nothing else...I can look forward to something good to eat....ahhahahaha

I'm sure I'll be back here tonight, to catch up on all that happen with you guys throughout the day. I'll talk to you all soon!

Have a good one!
Love,
Lev
