A Thursday Good Morning
Well, how has everyone been this morning? Having a good start to your days, I hope!
I took Lee to work, got some gas, and then headed back home. I'm soooo glad that I don't have to work today. The days off never seem to get here fast enough, or last long enough. It's back to work tomorrow, but Sat., Sun. and Mon., off, will be nice.
I don't guess I have much planned for today. I sure need to do something with this house... and of course, there's always laundry to do... as if I don't do enough of that at work...lol! That is one nice thing about working in a dry cleaners. As an employee, I get 10 piceces of clothing cleaned free each week. So that helps with the amount of laundry that I have to do here at the house. Lee has been enjoying his nicely laundered shirts, pressed, and crisp with starch. I also take his knit shirts, or slacks at times, and naturally, my sweaters, when I was wearing them through the winter. I'm glad I'm not going to have to be using them anytime soon. I am a SUMMER girl!
It is suppose to be beautiful here in Missouri today. It is already 73, and only 9:30 a.m. Before the day's over, we're suppose to get to 85. I LOVE it! I've got to get outside before too much longer and get my plants watered. I thought that mother nature was going to do that for me last night...they were talking some thunderstorms, sometime after midnight, but we never got a drop! We could have used the rain, but would just as soon do without the thunderstorms, as far as I'm concerned. In this part of the country, they just too often lead to tornados...and we all know what I think of them!
Oz, is one place that I have NO desire to visit!
Well, guess I'll run out of here for now. I may check back in with you all before the day's over. I'll definatley be checkin' to see who has dropped in for a visit! I think I'm gonna like this "blog" thingy...lol
I hope that you all have a WONERFUL day.... and that you are truely blessed today, by the beauty that surrounds you. Take time to look at it....it is sooooooooooo totally awesome!

it sounds like you had a pretty good day. It also sounds weather wise like the kind of weather we had here yesterday. Today is another story. It got cooler and there is going to be showers through out the weekend..again. Five weekends in arow.
I am supposed to go to a Rally/march (union work) on Saturday but I am starting to be overwhelmed with stuff for home. I just might not go..
