WELCOME
You have arrived in Lev's Notes. Hi, I'm Levonne, or Lev, as most call me online. I've tried to make this blog a mixture of things I can share, anything and everything that has to do with me. Whether it be expressed thoughts on something that is a part of me, or something that I love very deeply. You will see a variety here. Levonne:More About Me, is exactly what it say. Here you can read about my childhood, my faith, things that make up who I am, and where I came from. Bits and Pieces: Are special pages that are close to my heart. Things that mean alot to me, and are a very important part of my life. I live in the United States, in the midwestern state, Missouri. I have shared some wonderful links with you and tried to show you all that is a part of the beautiful "Show Me" state, that I live in. You will have access to my home pages, links to wonderful sites, from health, Christianity, to travel. I also share the links to web pages that I have designed, and also to the many wonderful groups of which I'm owner. Educational links to higher education here in Columbia, MO, where I live, and lastly, links to several ribbon campaigns that are close to my heart. I do hope that you enjoy the time you spend here, and I encourage you to return often, and visit those sites and links that you've not yet had a chance to. I trust that I have included wonderful links, beautiful music, stunning photos, and much more, that I know you will enjoy. And don't forget...my daily ramblings...all that is going on in my life from day to day. Hope that all this makes you know a little more about what makes Lev tick. Have a GREAT day! God Bless. Lev

I don't know if any of you have seen these "bad boys", but they are quite awesome to witness. As I was leaving my house Sat. for work, as I was walking out the door, I was hearing the most ungodly sound I'd ever heard. I looked back over the top of my house, to see this big fella, flying right over the top of me!!! It looked like something out of the movie "indenpendence day". It was pretty awesome to watch. This is the first time I've ever seen one close enough to really see details. All the stealth's are housed at Whiteman AF Base, which is located about 1 1/2 hr. west of where I live. On 9-11-01, we heard, I couldn't tell you how many, flying out of Whiteman to the east. Apparently headed for Washington, DC. We could BARELY see them as they went over, they were soooooo high, and moved sooooo fast. But this one, that I saw Sat., was low enough that it looked as though I could reach out and touch it!

I thought it was pretty cool, so just decided to share it with you all....along with these pictures, and a couple of links for Whiteman AF Base.

As some of you may have heard on the news, the US is going to be closing several military bases in the US. Whiteman, along with Ft. Leonard Wood, are two in MO, that they have possibly considered closing. I somehow, have the feeling, that considering what Whiteman is housing...., these big "dogs", it will not be one of the bases closed. I can't see the US closing down their stealth operation. Whiteman is the ONLY place that the stealths are kept. Last I heard, they did not believe that Ft. Leonard Wood would end up being closed either.

Just a short story.... my father was born and raised in MN. He was called into the army in WWII, and was sent to Ft. Leonard Wood for his basic training. He met a guy there, whom he became lifelong friends with, who invited him to church one sunday, in the small town of Lebanon, MO...just about 25 miles from the FT. My dad agreed to go....and it was there, at that church service, that he met my mother.... and....well.... here I am....and the rest, is history!
