Wednesday Hello
Well, here it is...HUMP DAY again! I hope that all of you are having a great day, so far.
It's a beautiful day here in MO. 71, right now, and suppose to be 76 before the day's over. I just got done watering my plants, before having to head out for work in a bit. I am just SOOOOOOO glad that cold weather is OVER....and that beautiful spring has arrived, and summer SOON on it's way! I just LOVE this weather!
OH....THANK YOU JESUS!.... Lee got the part put in the car yesterday, before leaving for work....it is running PERFECTLY!!!! It drives beautifully, just like it did when we got it 5 yrs. ago! Thanks God, that both cars are now running great! I do need a front end alignment on mine....I've got a tire that it is wearing bad...and starting to show steel belts through the rubber....this is NO GOOD! Especially, on a front tire. So...hopefully, I'm going to be able to get that done in the next few days, and want to get that bad tire added to the back...and the good ones rotated to the front. Unfortunately, I can't afford to buy new tires right now...but I will sure feel better once I get that bad tire off the front. Front end blow-outs, are NOT the thing to have!
I think I mentioned that we were going to see our best friends over memorial weekend. I can't wait to get away for a couple of days. It is looooooong overdue for Lee and Lev! LOL I probably won't be on as much as I usually am, this weekend, but I'm sure at some point, I'll have a chance to get to Cheri's puter, and check in with you all. I'll probably have to go in and change some of my mail settings, also....or my email will be bouncin' like "tigger" (for Deb)...ALLLLLLLL over the place!
We thought, at first, that we were going to be able to go down on Fri. evening, and be there for Sat., but unfortunately, I'm going to have to work on Sat. Cheri laughed, and told me, that if we could come on Sat...that would be great, but that we'd have to help clean the pool! LOL She was going to clean it on Sat....so that it would be ready on Sunday, when we came. I sure wouldn't have had a problem helping...but now it looks like it will all be ready for us to enjoy come Sunday... since we won't arrive till late Saturday night. I don't know that I went swimming once, last year...not that I can remember, anyway. I'm just going to have to make a point of doing that this weekend...just in case I don't get the opportunity the rest of the year. At least that way, I can say that I went.
When we lived at the lake, we went swimming....ALOT The development that we lived in had several pools....It was called Four Seasons....a whole penensula owned by a resort...I'll post a link... One of the pools was just about a mile from our house. We were there at least every Sunday afternoon....and often through the week. I'd pack a picnic supper, and the kids and I would meet Lee there on his way home from work. I'd always bring his suit so he could change and have a swim with the kids...cool down, and unwind from a stressful day. Often, we wouldn't leave till after dark. We all really missed that when we moved.
Well guys, I need to head out of here. Gotta leave a tad bit early, cause I have to stop and get gas in the car...it's gettin' looooooooooooooow! Then off to work it is...
