Unwinding from the day
Well, guys, I think I'm about to call it a night, but thought I'd drop in and chat with you all just a bit, first.
I hope you all had a great day! Mine went pretty good, but was really glad to see that 6:00 roll around. I was ready for that, and for my day off tomorrow.
I will definately be spending some time here with you guys, but I'm gonna have to get something done on this house, too....I can tell that Lee's gonna say something soon...hehehehehe....after almost 27 yrs., I can read him like a book! I'll admit...especailly the bedroom, is getting bad. This time, it's not the dirty clothes that are piling up, but the clean ones that I need to put away! lol So, that definately has to be done tomorrow, without fail.
I've got a bit of cooking to do tomorrow too. We're all, the family, that is, getting together tomorrow night over at Landon's for a cookout, and b.d. celebrations. We're gonna do burgers, maccaroni salad, fruit salad, potato salad, tossed salad (we like salads..hehehehe) and also some chips. Then we'll have cake for dessert. Oh, and deviled eggs...which I have to make tomorrow, along with the cake. So, part of my day will be done doin' that. I also have to try and pick up a couple of small presents for Kirk and Landon. Not sure what...but I'll come up with something, I'm sure. I laughed and told Tara-Lee, that they just might get sock or underware..hehehe, if I can't come up with anything else. LOL
Well, tomorrow is Moriah's last day of school....she IS excited! I've bought her annual cameras, and tee shirt. She always takes tons of pictures the last day, and most kids wear a white tee shirt, for everyone to sign. She's got about 4 of them hanging on her walls, from previous years. They will be great keep sakes for her as an adult. I sure wish I would have hung on to that kinda of stuff when I was her age. My mom did keep a few things, but not alot. But, I guess something is better than nothing!
Well, guys, I think I'm gonna go hit the sack. It's not super late here, about 11:15, but it's been kinda a long day, and tomorrow isn't going to be too lazy and relaxing, for sure, with all that has to be done. But, I'm going to do my best to spend sometime with all you here, as well.
I hope you all had a wonderful day, and a warm and relaxing evening at home. I look forward to seeing you all on the beautiful day that awaits us tomorrow!

As i said i would come again and again to appreciate your postings, here i am.
I like everything you write plus i learn a lot, mainly the "expressions or slangs" you use:-) but as i am teacher,I got interested about the Moriah´s t-shirts you talked about.Here students usually write on it when they are finishing secondary education.:-) Interesting she has the t-shirts kept safe in her bedroom so she will have nice memories.
