It Seems So Long

Well, it seems like it's been forever since I've been in any of my groups...to do anykind of posting, that is....I sure know what you mean about time, Bella! Go, Go, Go! We got home so late on Monday that it seems I didn't have much time to do anything. Last night, we went to Landon's for supper, and didn't get home till after midnight! I've worked both Tuesday and Wednesday, so FINALLY...tonight, I was able to just come right home after work. That was really nice! I've had clothes piled on my bed, for what seems to be FOREVER! LOL As soon as I got home, I "made" myself put all the clothes up first...well, not all....I still have some socks to sort! ahahahahaaaa! I knew if I didn't do it right away, I'd never get back to it tonight, and then would be stuck doing it tomorrow on my day off, and I definately didn't want to do that. So, now that that is done, I won't have to worry about it, and can enjoy myself the rest of the evening on the puter.

Miss ole' Grumpy Pants...that I work with...just about set me off today!!!! She's 80, and she's worked there longer than anyone else, other than our manager. She layed into me today over something...and it just about sent me through the roof! She was definately wrong in her idea of how the situation should be handled. She isn't ANY KIND of office manager...etc....she is just another worker who just happens to have seniority over me, and thinks she KNOWS IT ALL! I had waited on a customer that came through our drive through window. I was standing at the cash register, ringing up the ticket, and getting ready to run the customers credit card, when a lady came in and stood at the counter. She told me...." I just have a question"...then when she looked up and saw the car at the drive through, she said..."oh...I'm sorry, you're busy". I looked at her and said, "oh, no...no problem..." remember...I am just standing there....waiting for the credit card to be approved, and doing NOTHING else! She had barely had time to ask me the question, when Mary walked up to the counter. I answered the lady, and then MISS KNOW IT ALL...preceeded to tell me that I needed to go finish waiting on the customer at the window. Well....needless to say, this sorta ticked me off! But that is not even the half of it!!!!! After both customers had left....she preceeded to tell me that if that ever happens again, to just wait till someone else can come and wait on them. How it is hot outside, and people don't want to be sitting in their cars waiting on me. At first...I just politely looked at Mary, and said..."Well, I figured I could answer her question while I was waiting on the credit card machine." Then she tried to tell me that the credit card machine was already done...and I was making this person wait at the drive through. I repeated again....that I was waiting on the credit card machine while I answered the lady's question. Then....two different times...she in no uncertain terms told me, that I needed to do what I was told!!!! Well....that was just the straw that broke the camels back....and I knew if I didn't shut up, I was going to say something that I shouldn't say....so....I looked her in the eye....motioned my hand to my forehead in a "saluting" manner...and said....'YES MAMM!!!" There wasn't another word said! I sure hate to burst Miss Mary's bubble....but if the same type situation ever happens again....there is NO WAY...I'm just going to let a customer stand there, while I ignore them!!!!

Okay....I have got my ranting and ravin' out of the way...hehehehehe! Boy...am I glad I don't have to go back in there tomorrow...although....I would LOVE to be a fly on the wall....cause I'm sure she's going to fill my bosses head FULL! I love to hear everything she's going to have to say! LOL My boss was sitting there listening the whole time that Mary and I were goin' at it....he never said a word either. Wasn't long after that, that he told me to go ahead and take my cigg. break....hehehehehe Something tells me that he could tell I was just a little on the PO'ed side! LOL

Well...I guess I'll run! I hope you have all had a great day! All in all, mine has been good too! It was beautiful here today, and is suppose to be tomorrow also...so I'm going to really enjoy my day! I hope you all do too, as well!
