Good Morning
I'd like to wish everyone a good morning. It almost seems ironic to do that, considering that British citizens haven't had much of a good morning at all with the horrible terrorist attacks on London. This is so awful! The last report that I just heard, on the way home from taking Lee to work, is that so far, 40 are reported dead, and last I read, about 190 injured. Unfortunately, they are expecting to find more victims when they start rummaging through the subways. It is just so horrible, and my throughts, and prayers are with all Brits, and especially those who lost loved ones, and those injured.
Well, I tried twice last night to drop an email, and twice, the sucker closed up or froze on me...and lost them both. Boy, does that tick me off...
My work schedule got changed a bit, yesterday. I still have today off, but will work tomorrow in Jacobs place, as he is going to work for me on Saturday, so we can attend Lee's cousins wedding at the lake Sat. evening. Lee's cousin Cindy, and his mom are going to be coming from Indianapolis and attending the wedding. It will be nice to see them again. We saw Cindy in Oct. when we were in Indy for Lee's dad's funeral. But it's been about a yr. since we've seen his mom. She just recently got moved from Florida to Indiana. She's lived in Fl. for the past 20 yrs. They'll be spending the night at the lake, but then will be coming through Columbia on Sunday, to spend a few hours with us before heading back for Indianapolis. It's about a 6 hr. drive from Columbia. This will be the first time too, that either one of them have seen Eva....except in pictures. So, I'm really looking forward to showing off my little "butterball". She is such a little chunker! lol
After supper last night, I cleared out some emails, sent some posts, and then decided to work on my blog. I've had so many ideas for things to add, but haven't had the time to get them all done yet. So, I've just been trying to add a little at a time. I sorta lost track of time, and at about 11:30, decided I'd backoff a bit, and send you all a note. Needless to say, my email didn't want to cooperate with me...lol I may not have accomplished getting an email sent to you all, but I did accomplish quite a bit in my blog. I did some re-arranging on the home page, got some new pages added, and several new links. So, I hope you'll all take the time to go visit, and check on all the newly added "stuff"! I still have some ideas for a couple more pages to add. Hopefully, I can get at least one of those done today...maybe more. Guess we'll just see. You can ignor the comment that some annoymousperson left....about wanting to talk to some "HOT" guys...lol I looked to try and find a way to delete it...but couldn't find anything. Guess you can't delete comments that others leave. I don't know why some think that so funny. If they can't comment on the blog...I wish they'd just keep their mouth shut. lol There are sure enough places on the internet to meet and talk to "hot" guys....I doubt that she's gonna find them on MY blog! lol
I talked to Tara-Lee last night. Her and Kirk are going to come over sometime today and do some laundry. I haven't got much planned for today...gonna just hang around the house most of the day. I'll go back into town around 5 to pick up Lee's check, then promised Moriah that we could go to wal-mart, and then to Goodwill. She's been wanting some paints and a canvas, and then wanted to hit Goodwill to see if she can find some shorts. We love the second hand stores....and can very often find some really good deals. I found a pair of brand new L.E.I. jeans, that looked like they'd never been worn. They sell here in the states for probably about $40...I got them for $4.95! Sure can't beat that. Quite often, you'll still find things with the tags on them. Then you're really able to tell how much of a savings you got.
Well, I guess I'll sign off for now. Just wanted to touch base with ya'll, since I wasn't able to do that last night. Again, I want to send all my thoughts and prayers to those in England, with this tragedy that has hit. After 911, I sure know what it feels like when something like this happens....it all seems so unbelievable when something like this happens. I just pray that casualties aren't as bad as they are expecting.
