It's hump day....YIPPEEEEEEE!
Oh boy...it's hump day for me. Work today, and then Thurs. and Fri. off. Unfortunately, I have to work again on Sat....my 3rd Sat. in a row, which I'm not suppose to do, but then the boss snuck in that extra Sat. last weekend for the 4th, (which I was suppose to have off).
We are suppose to go to a wedding Saturday evening at the Lake. I'm going to have to try and see if possibly I can get off early, or we'll be late arriving. Lee's cousins son is getting married, and Lee's mom and cousin Cindy, will be coming from Indianapolis to attend, so we will get to see them also. We saw Cindy when we were in Indy for Lee's dads funeral. But, it has been about a yr. since we saw Lee's mom. Her and Cindy haven't yet gotten to see little(lol...she's a chunker)Eva, except for pictures. So, I'm sure they'll be looking forward to that.
When I got home last night from work, Landon, Amanda and the boys were here...hangin' out with Moriah, and using the puter. They went ahead and stuck around and ate dinner with us...using up more of the food that we had from the 4th...tons of it. Lee worked late last night, and didn't get home till almost 10. I'll never be able to talk him out of these 12-14 hr. days. When something needs to get finished, he always ends up staying...regardless of how late it makes him. It would just be nice if his boss appreciated it....and if he does, he sure doesn't always act like it. Lee and I still say, that his boss has no idea how much of a tight spot he'd be in if Lee quit. And Rob has a way of pushing things, and if he keeps it up, he may be in the position to find out. It's long and complicated...actually, it's just a boss with ADHD....That has no idea how to run a business...much less a jewelry store, and he makes it impossible to work for him, at times.
It's beautiful in Missouri...77 at just 9:30. I haven't checked any weather, so I'm not sure what the temp is gonna be like today...but warm, I'm sure.
I got an email today that one of the ladies in one of my groups had died suddenly, yesterday morning. She was only 38. I'm not sure what happened, as they didn't give any details...just "suddenly". The group was rather large, and I don't know that I ever really talked with this member or got to know her, but it is a little unsettling to hear, even if it is someone you don't know well. Even though you don't know someone, it is sometimes hits home a little bit, because all of us at one time or another have lost someone we loved dearly, so we know how badly others hearts are hurting when they loose someone. And especially, one so young. She also had two small children. We so often take life for granted, and don't realize that in the blink of an eye....it can all be over. We just never know. I sure leared how quickly that can happen, when Lee's tick bite sent him into full seizures, and from fine, to comotose, and not breathing, in just a matter of a few seconds. It can happen so fast.
I'm still thinkin' on stuff to add to my blog. I have a few more ideas of stuff that I wanna put together. Hopefully, I can get at least one of them added this morning, before having to leave for work. Which idea I'm going to add..... I'm not sure. lol Probably, which ever one will be the shortest, and not take so long. I was wanting to try and do that last night, but Amanda spent most of the night on the puter, so I wasn't able to get on till late. Maybe I can get some added this morning, and another one later tonight, after getting home from work. I'll be sure and let you all know.
Well, guess if I'm gonna get anything done before having to leave for work, I better get outta here and get busy. I think I'll go ahead and get dressed for work, then I can just sit at my puter on concentrate on what I'm gonna do, and won't have to rush up later to get ready, when it's time to leave.
