WELCOME
You have arrived in Lev's Notes. Hi, I'm Levonne, or Lev, as most call me online. I've tried to make this blog a mixture of things I can share, anything and everything that has to do with me. Whether it be expressed thoughts on something that is a part of me, or something that I love very deeply. You will see a variety here. Levonne:More About Me, is exactly what it say. Here you can read about my childhood, my faith, things that make up who I am, and where I came from. Bits and Pieces: Are special pages that are close to my heart. Things that mean alot to me, and are a very important part of my life. I live in the United States, in the midwestern state, Missouri. I have shared some wonderful links with you and tried to show you all that is a part of the beautiful "Show Me" state, that I live in. You will have access to my home pages, links to wonderful sites, from health, Christianity, to travel. I also share the links to web pages that I have designed, and also to the many wonderful groups of which I'm owner. Educational links to higher education here in Columbia, MO, where I live, and lastly, links to several ribbon campaigns that are close to my heart. I do hope that you enjoy the time you spend here, and I encourage you to return often, and visit those sites and links that you've not yet had a chance to. I trust that I have included wonderful links, beautiful music, stunning photos, and much more, that I know you will enjoy. And don't forget...my daily ramblings...all that is going on in my life from day to day. Hope that all this makes you know a little more about what makes Lev tick. Have a GREAT day! God Bless. Lev

Hello, and Good Morning!
I was doing my best last night to drop in and say Hi to you all, before leaving the computer for the night. Moriah had already been buggin' me to get on the puter, and I told her Okay...just as soon as I finished the email, which was one I was writing to you all. I was almost finished, when my puter decided to do something...I'm not sure what. Next thing I know, all my windows shut down, and the email....GONE!!!! Boy, was I discuted. There is nothing so aggrivating! I sure wasn't going to let that stop me, so once again, I started a new email. I was fortunate enough to finish this one, but guess the puter didn't want me sending it either, as I went in to type the last address....and guess what? You got it....it shut down again! I'll tell ya...Lev was not a happy camper...hehehehe. With Moriah buggin' me to use the puter, I knew that there would be no trying again. I figured 3rd time would be a charm! lol But, I just turned the puter over to Moriah, and decided that I'd wait and drop you all a line this morning.
My day yesterday was GREAT! Being stuch here without my car, was rather nice....not having to go anywhere. I was able to get my housework done, and most of my laundry finished up. There wasn't much, so I was hoping that it wouldn't take long.
Since I got all my work done, I was able to spend most of the afternoon working on my blog, which I've been trying to do for sometime now. I know there will be other things that I want to add. I had a few ideas in my head, and I at least got those done yesterday. I've got a few other ideas in mind, but am just thinking about the best way to do them. I'm sure I'll get them added at a later date. Just to give you a little info....I've added links to Sweden, and Wales, which are very special countries to me, as this is where my ancestors came from. Sweden has always facinated me, as long as I can remember, since hearing that my Grandfather was born there. It was about 137 yrs. ago, that my Great Grandfather, Johannes Pettersson, loaded his wife, and family of 4, my Grandfather Charles, 4, one of them, and boarded a boat bound for America....and a promise of a new life. From the time I was a child, I can remember my Dad telling me, that when Granddad (his...Johannes) arrived in Chicago...(and still needing to get to Minnesota), with 10 cents in his pocket. My Dad never did tell me how they ended up getting to MN...lol....but they did, and this is where they settled. From what I've found out on my mothers family...they came from Wales. Their name, Medley, I am told was originally "Middlefield", in the old country. I have heard that my ancestors in Wales, were kicked out of the country for stealing sheep, and sent to the colonies...which is where they sent convicts...as well as to Australia. I'm not sure if this story is actually true...but it does make for good conversation! lol....and a good chuckle... But, I guess the colonies is where they were suppose to have been, or wonderful, stupendious, and fabulous "moi", would not be here today!!!!
It's back to work today. Jacob and I will be the only ones there this afternoon, as Rex, my boss, and Mary, the lady that usually works the afternoon with me, are taking some vacation days. Jacob and I will be there by ourselves tomorrow too. I've been there about 8 months, but this is the first time I've ever been left alone in the cleaners without Rex or Mary there. I sometimes get the idea that Mary thinks I'm not capable of handling anything!!!! She can just really be such a PUTZ!!!! AT TIMES Mary has been there 4 yrs., and she is "certain" that she "knows it all"...lol! Evidently Rex seems to think that we'll do okay, or guess he wouldn't have scheduled us that way. He's trustin' us to hold down the fort...he says...lol Hopefully, it isn't going to be too busy today, and Rex didn't seem to think it would be too busy tomorrow either. Alot of people will be headed out of town for the July 4th weekend. Hopefully, they'll think of more fun things to do, than drop off their drycleaning!
Well, finally, about 5:00 last night, it started to rain. It wasn't raining very hard, but at least it lasted for about 3-4 hours. We definately could have used more than what we got, but anything was better than nothing. Hopefully, it was enough to soak in a bit. Everything here is SO dry. I've been trying to water my flowers and plants that are outside, but it has been so drastically hot here the past several days, that you just can't seem to get enough water on them. They soak it up so fast. The temp. yesterday wasn't so bad. I think the high was about 87, but our humidity was low, so that helped immensely. It is our humidity here that kills us. It is so sticky that it takes your breath away, and makes you feel like you're sitting in a sauna! I don't think the humidity is suppose to be quite as bad the next few days, as it has been the past few.
We still haven't decided what we're going to do on the 4th. I'm waiting to here work schedules from Kirk and Landon. The restaurant that Kirk works at is having a big 4th bash...beer garden, band, etc. He thinks he's going to have to work, but not sure what time. Landon's work is also going to be open on the 4th, but he is waiting too for the schedule to come out to see if he's been scheduled. So, until we know some defindates, guess there's no use to try and make any plans. I guess we'll just play it by ear! lol
So....that's how my day was yesterday...and what's goin' on! "Thrilled, beyond excitement", is what you all are...hehehehehe I can tell! But, like Bella, I can find this blog thing very teraputic at times. So, hopefully, you all don't find my ramblings too boring...lol Plus, it satisfies the creative side of me...
Hope you guys have a great day. I'll be back this evening to let you all know if anything super exciting happened at work today...hehehehehe. That's doubtfull! lol I'll talk to you all later....Take Care
Much love,
Lev
