How's everyone this evening?
Good Evening...
It is just a couple of minutes away from 10:45, and I have finally gotten to the point where I can slow down. It has been non-stop since I got off work at 6:00. The only thing left now, to make it the perfect evening, is the "get naked" part, which I've already told the meaning of, to some of you...hahaha...it stands for "getting off ANY AND ALL restrictive clothing!!", in the Morgan house...lol But, even before I did that, I decided to drop in and visit with everyone first.
As I said, it hasn't stopped since I got off work. Moriah called while I was still at work, wanting to know if her and a friend
could go to the movies. I hate trying to arrange this kinda stuff at work... sooooooo aggrivating. I, along with Lee, agreed it was okay, but now I have to figure out how to get money to her. I normally leave work, and go directly to pick up Lee. He gets off at 7:00, or is suppose to, although alot of the times it is closer to 7:30. I usually have to wait about 30 mins. for him, but it still doesn't warrent driving all the way home, only being there for 20 mins or so, and then having to go back into town. We live out of the city limits, so it takes about 15 mins. to get to Lees work. It also depends on what time I get off. There are times it's close to 6:30 before I leave. Anyway, I tell Moriah, that if I get off work right at 6, then I'll have time to run the money home to her, then back into town to pick up Lee. You can see why only 1 car right now is a pain in the patoot!!! So...left work and came right home. Kirk and Tara-Lee were here doing some laundry. I was here about 30 mins...which was a little longer than I should have been, then headed back into town to get Lee. It actually was timed quite perfect. I rounded the corner just as Lee was locking up the store.
Since Moriah was going to the movies, Lee and I decided just to grab some quick supper, and ran through McDonald's drive through. Before heading to McDonalds, we remembered we needed to stop by the hardware store to pick up a couple of hooks for our dogs chain. So, we made a quick turn and headed to Westlakes. Naturally, as most men are...lol...it's impossible for Lee to walk right in, and walk right out of a hardware store. lol We had to check out the sales rack, and the tools...and don't forget the BBQ grills...me....I'm tired and wanna go home, so all I'm checkin' out is the comfortable chair that goes to the patio set... Once we got out of Westlakes, we headed for Micky D's. Just as we were getting ready to pull in, it dawned on me, that after I picked up Lee, we forgot to go by the pharmacy, and get his insulin....we are just about 3 blocks from there, when we're at his work. Now...we're clear up on the NE side of town!
So...we got our burgers to go, and headed back into town ....AGAIN, to pick up Lee's insulin. By the time we got back home, it was almost 8:30. About 9:30, Moriah calls, and her and Kristen are done at the movies....so back in the car I hop, and head down the road again. "On the road again. Just can't wait to get on the road again!"...LOL...gee, I sound like Willie Nelson... (one of my favorites, I might add). I also have to take Kristen home first. Of course, Moriah wants to know what we had for supper...lol...so it was back to Micky D's again, to grab her a sandwich and salad. So...needless to say, by the time I got them picked up, Kristen home, and back home myself, it hasn't been the quietest night! lol It has definately felt good to come home and sit!
Lee's got the next 3 days off. I wish I did...lol. He's really looking forward to it. I gotta work tomorrow...12-5. Saturdays seem to go by pretty quick. At least I'll have Sun. and Mon, so I'm looking forward to that.
I guess I'll head out...gotta go "get naked"...lol I hope you all had a good day! It was beautiful here...not too hot. It's suppose to be rather nice the next couple of days. Hope yours are as well!
Love,
Lev

Dear Lev, it seems that I am always repeating myself, when it comes to praising your blog! I simply love it!It is so good reading what you write, the special way you see and react to things of everyday, with faith, confidence in the divine providence.I am trying to learn from you how to climb so beautifully to God's lap and be His child. Huuuuugs!
Bella...thanks again for your sweet words. I sure don't mind you repeating yourself, I am just glad that you enjoy reading whatever I happen to stick in here. It is teraputic, as you say, in a way, being able to write, and get things off your chest if need be. There are parts of my life that have been smooth...there are parts that have been trials, as I'm sure it it with many others. So often in life, when things go wrong, we tend to feel like we are the only ones that are going through such atrosities, but unfortunately, we are not the only ones. I just hope that if there is anything I write here, it will also help someone else to understand, that they are not going through things alone, and that there are others who have gone through what they are, or have, and understand the pain or hurt that sometimes burns in our hearts. So, I just hope that others who read will be blessed and their burdens lifted a little. It always helps to know that others feel, and understand what you're going through.
It is a little scary, the fact that you're trying to learn from me, how to be closer to God... I am by no means the perfect example... All my life I have heard that when you are a Christian, people will be watching you to see what makes you so different from those who don't call themselves Christians. So, we just pray that we are able to put forth the "Christ like" example, so that others will be able to see Christ in us, and want what we have. People tend to think that there are so many rules for Christianity, so many do's and don'ts, when actually, it isn't all that complicated. I've tried all my life to live by what Christ told us was the GREATEST commandment,.... to love the Lord your God, with all your heart, and soul, and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself. And to keep the golden rule first and foremost in my life...to Do unto others as you'd have them do unto you. If we live like this...every commandment that God gave us, would be fullfilled...through love. If we love others as much as we do ourselves...we would never lie...steal, kill, commit adultry...none of these things would we do to others, for we would never want them done to us.
Some chalk this world up to "chance"...big bang...and I sure don't claim to know all about it. But, I do know, that when I look about me, and see all the wonders that this world has, I just find it too difficult to chalk up to "coincidence". Everything in this world is too beautiful, and to perfect, to not be directed by the hand of a Higher Power. So, I take the verse where Christ says that we can move mountains, with faith only the size of a mustard seed....just about the size of these periods.... that isn't much. So, I take my mustard seed sized faith, and pray that God will direct me, guide me, and guard me. God has walked beside me in every trial that I've been through. It is difficult to imagine how I would have made it without being able to rely on him. This world can be sooooo difficult....the only way I can seem to make it through, is to trust that there is Someone, much higher, and much more powerful than anything this world can throw at me. I think about my children, how much I love them, and what I would do to keep them out of harms way, to protect them, to try and lead them in the right directions, everything I know that will give their life purpose, and meaning. I am God's child, and I know that He loves me, and will care for me, and protect me, just as I do for my children. As much as I love my children, I know that God's love for us, His children, is far greater than any love I could have. I've shared before in a blog, and other post... God sees every sparrow that falls from the sky...he feeds and cares for even the smallest creatures...does He not care for me...for I am far more important to Him than the smallest bird!
His eye is on the sparrow...and I know He watches me.
Much love, Bella
Lev
