The Weekend is upon us!
YIPPPPPPEEEEE!
You know how I am about my weekends. I was really glad when my work day was over. I was there a little longer than ususal...9:30-2. We tried to get as much done as we could, since he isn't going to be here on Monday...which is another reason I'm excited about the weekend. It's gonna be a 3 dayer!!!
I haven't done much since I've been home. Just putzin' on the puter, most of the time. Moriah has to work this weekend, but since we have a car with no heat, Landon and the kids are going to come to our house...again...they showed up last night, which is always cool. I'm always game to see my grandkids, and landon. He has a heater, and then Moriah will just ride home with him later when he leaves to pick up amanda. He'll drop Amanda off at work at 5, and then will be headed this way...as far as I know. So, he should be here before too much longer.
I was going to try and cook something, but geez...don't think I'll do that. I think it's a good night to just order pizza. We can have it delieverd, and no one has to get out in the cold. Pizza Hut is close, and one of our favs. Right now they're doing the domino's deal...3 single med. topp. for $15. So, that's a pretty cheap deal, when you're gonna be trying to feed 7. Those 2 boys...Kenny and Gabriel, are bottomless pits...or have hollow legs or something. lol Especially Kenny. That child can put away more food than anyone I know. Last night I fixed sausage and pancakes. kenny had 2 pieces of sausage...3 pancakes, then finished mine...which was about 1, and then finish up Moriah's which was equivilant to 1 also. That's 5 pancakes...for a 7 yr. old. I don't know where he puts it!!! lol
Tomorrow it is suppose to be 50!!!! WOW!!! That's a heatwave compared to last night, and today. Our low last night was 1...the windchill was -5. Today, our high was only about 29. It's just been bitter cold all day long. The wind sure ISN'T helping! We won't know how to act tomorrow. The one decent day we're going to have, when Lee could look at my car breaks, and he has to work. I don't think it's suppose to be too bad on Sunday either,
but he has to go in at noon, and by the time he's off at 5, it will be dark. Unless he gets up early on Sunday...his only day to sleep in, and has it done before noon. I seriously doubt if there's anyway he can get to it tomorrow...go in a little later, or something. Get off a little early??? Something, but I know I'd sure like my car back, not to mention a heater, and a defrost. We've got to figure out what the deal is with the hearter in the dodge. lee's got an idea, which he said he'd check. It's the only think we haven't done to try and remedy the prob. I just know you freeze your bum off!!!! I have a feeling that Landon will go pick up Lee again for me tonight...he did last night...since he's the one with the heater. Lee gets the treat of riding home in a warm car...vs. a cold one.
Well, now that my plans just changed, I'll have to rearrange my evening. lol Amanda just called me...she had the night off and didn't have tow work. She was in town paying some bills, and wanted to know if she needed to come by and pick up Moriah, or were we coming out later. I told her that we had discussed Landon coming here, but evidently, that isn't what happened. So...rather than be out late in a car with no heat, Amanda just came by to pick her up, and they left just about 5 mins. ago. So..Now I will have to go get Lee, and He will have to ride home in a cold car. lol
Since the kids aren't coming, we'll probably just grab a bite to eat before we come home. I'm not sure if we'll do pizza, like I originally thought, or maybe Mexican...we have a fav.
place that isn't too far from home, or maybe Culver's which is on our way home too. I'll just see what sounds good to Lee when I go get him.
Guess I've talked your leg off again... haven't I? lol Those of you that know me, know that I have a way with words just rollin' off my tounge, and I sometimes don't know when to quit. Like now....so c ya later!
