WELCOME
You have arrived in Lev's Notes. Hi, I'm Levonne, or Lev, as most call me online. I've tried to make this blog a mixture of things I can share, anything and everything that has to do with me. Whether it be expressed thoughts on something that is a part of me, or something that I love very deeply. You will see a variety here. Levonne:More About Me, is exactly what it say. Here you can read about my childhood, my faith, things that make up who I am, and where I came from. Bits and Pieces: Are special pages that are close to my heart. Things that mean alot to me, and are a very important part of my life. I live in the United States, in the midwestern state, Missouri. I have shared some wonderful links with you and tried to show you all that is a part of the beautiful "Show Me" state, that I live in. You will have access to my home pages, links to wonderful sites, from health, Christianity, to travel. I also share the links to web pages that I have designed, and also to the many wonderful groups of which I'm owner. Educational links to higher education here in Columbia, MO, where I live, and lastly, links to several ribbon campaigns that are close to my heart. I do hope that you enjoy the time you spend here, and I encourage you to return often, and visit those sites and links that you've not yet had a chance to. I trust that I have included wonderful links, beautiful music, stunning photos, and much more, that I know you will enjoy. And don't forget...my daily ramblings...all that is going on in my life from day to day. Hope that all this makes you know a little more about what makes Lev tick. Have a GREAT day! God Bless. Lev

On a Sunday afternoon

From the inside, looking out the window, my world covered with this blanket of white...yet the sun shinning brightly, it looks so beautiful. I guess your attitude about how beautiful it is doesn't really change, but, we all know that looks can be deceiving, because, when you walk outside, your idea changes dramatically, when you feel how cold it is. It's currently 21...our all time high for the day...25. Of course, with the wind blowing at 10mph, it feels like 8!!!! Wow...that IS COLD!

You can tell that it's December, and Christmas on the way, because, here it is...a sunday, and Lee went into work. The store is normally closed on Mondays, but until Christmas, it will now be 7 days a week. They will be swamped for the next 3 weeks. The store today was opening at noon...closing at 5, and Lee was in the process of getting ready, so he could leave within the next 30 mins. or so, until we noticed that he had missed a call. It was Rob, and he wanted to tell Lee that he could come in around 1:30 if he wanted, set one stone that has to be done, and then he can leave. That was a welcome bit of news.

We had made plans to go to Landon's for supper. Moriah is there, so we need to get her. We're going to do some supper while we're there. I was gonna take Lee to work..then pick him up, so we could head right to Landon's, rather than him take the car, have to come back home, and then leave again. It wasn't long after we decided to do that, that we heard the message from Rob. So...Lee has run into work to set this stone, which he doesn't think will take more than 45 mins. - 1hr. Then he'll come on home. We probably won't leave for Landon's right away. I'm gonna say around 4 or so, uless something happens that Lee gets tied up at work. I sure hope not. He wasn't looking forward to having to work today as it was.

I'm cooking some bean greens...lol...as we always call them in this house. They're one of our favorite veggies. I got them started just before Lee left. I'll be taking them to Landon's, and we're going to do some blackened chicken, and dirty rice...green beans, slaw, and cornbread. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it.

While I was keeping an eye on my beans for a bit, I also fixed myself a bagle w/cream cheese.....yummmmmmmm and unloaded my dishwasher, and cleaned up the kitchen, as much as I hated to do it...you know how I am. But, I sure didn't want to come home to the mess when we got back from Landon's, and knowing that I'd feel better about it once I knew it was done, I decided to just get it over with. Once that was done, then I treated myself, ....and here I am, at the puter, writing you guys!

I washed my hair last night, but didn't feel like messin' with rolling it, not to mention I HATE sleeping on rollers...or should say hate NOT sleeping on roller, which means I would have had to stand and dry it...which I didn't feel like doing either. So, today, I just wet it down and rolled it. I knew I had all day for it to dry, (my hair is really thick, and takes a loooooong time, especially on rollers). I did use the hair dryer on it for oh....maybe 20 mins or so, to just help boost it along. I think it's about dry...I sure hope so, cause my head is starting to itch with these silly things in...but, one day of toment in these, saves me from having to mess with it much through the week. So...here in a bit, I'm gonna go hit my head with the dryer for a few more mins, then check to see the status...hopefully, I can get these things out of my hair, so I can scratch my head!!!

Well, guess I'm outta here...need to check on my beans, and then my hair. Hopefully, if all is going well at work, Lee should be back in 30 mins. or so. Then we'll have a bit of time to relax before we go to Landon's.

So...I hope you all have had a great afternoon...relaxing, and beautiful!
I'll talk to all of you soon!

Much love,
Lev
