WELCOME
You have arrived in Lev's Notes. Hi, I'm Levonne, or Lev, as most call me online. I've tried to make this blog a mixture of things I can share, anything and everything that has to do with me. Whether it be expressed thoughts on something that is a part of me, or something that I love very deeply. You will see a variety here. Levonne:More About Me, is exactly what it say. Here you can read about my childhood, my faith, things that make up who I am, and where I came from. Bits and Pieces: Are special pages that are close to my heart. Things that mean alot to me, and are a very important part of my life. I live in the United States, in the midwestern state, Missouri. I have shared some wonderful links with you and tried to show you all that is a part of the beautiful "Show Me" state, that I live in. You will have access to my home pages, links to wonderful sites, from health, Christianity, to travel. I also share the links to web pages that I have designed, and also to the many wonderful groups of which I'm owner. Educational links to higher education here in Columbia, MO, where I live, and lastly, links to several ribbon campaigns that are close to my heart. I do hope that you enjoy the time you spend here, and I encourage you to return often, and visit those sites and links that you've not yet had a chance to. I trust that I have included wonderful links, beautiful music, stunning photos, and much more, that I know you will enjoy. And don't forget...my daily ramblings...all that is going on in my life from day to day. Hope that all this makes you know a little more about what makes Lev tick. Have a GREAT day! God Bless. Lev

Howdy!

Hey Guys...
I hope everyone had a good day.

I'm sitting toasty in my house, which is definately the place to be tonight. We have a pretty good storm headed our way, and the outcome could not be a good one. Right now I can hear the thundering rumbling outside, and it's pouring rain, and the temp. continues to drop...19 will be the low. The rain will soon become freezing rain, and sleet, and behind that, we're looking at snow, that could turn into significant accumulation. It will only bring with it hazzardous condidtions, and all too often, tragedy.
COLUMBIA RADAR

I'm suppose to work tomorrow, but it is all going to depend on what the roads are like tomorrow. Aaron is suppose to be going out of town...and I'm sure he still will, which probably isn't the smartest thing to do, depending what roads are like. But, I'll probably only work a couple of hours tomorrow, because his plans are to leave by noon. If the roads are nasty tomorrow, I have a feeling I won't be going into work. At my $8 an hour...2 hours isn't worth risking my car, or my neck on the roads. He'll have to understand that. We'll just have to see what tomorow brings. I'd just as soon it would pass us all together. It was 64 this morning a little before 9...now, it is 34, and the temp. dropping.

I got off at a decent hour today..had a couple of places to stop, and then got home as soon as possible. It was raining off and on, and already getting alot colder than it was when I came it. I spent a little time on the puter, then went to the kitchen to drag out my carcass. LOL Turkey...that is. With it getting colder, I figured tonight was the night for my famous homemade turkey noodle soup...with leftover Thanksgiving turkey...before it goes bad. So...I got my carcass on to boil to make my broth. I had it simmering for about 5 hours, with finely chopped onion, and celery. The longer it simmers, the better the flavor. It was pretty good, I'd have to say, and really hit the spot with the wet and cold outside.

I have a whole section of lights that won't work, and can't figure out why. All the lights around my window, and that line the sidewalk, and the bush in the yard. They're all plugged in...and all to the plug on the front of the house. So, it has to be something with that plug...but not sure what. I even checked the breaker, thought maybe it had gotten tripped, but that wasn't the prob. I meant to say something to Lee, but forgot when he got home. It's raining, so there isn't much he could do, except look at the plug, and be able to tell that everything is plugged in, like I have....then scratch his head, and try to figure out what the deal is. I hope we can figure it out after we spent all that time getting them put up. And naturally, now that it's cold and nasty outside...something has to go wrong. Go figure!

Well...guess I'll head outta here... and go have a cup-o-tea, and maybe watch some tv...if Lee's watching something good. We watched them light the Christmas tree from Rockerfeller Center in NY...The talent was fabulous, and the tree was beautiful.

Hope you all are getting into the Christmas spirit!!!

Oh...wanted to let you know that I will be changing the christmas video on my music page, several times between now and Christmas, so make sure you drop back by, and see what other Christmas favorites I have to share with you.
Music, Music, Music

Take care

Much love,
Lev
