And the GRAND TOTAL IS......? (drum rolllll)
....$15.50! I do believe, that this sale has to be the worst of ALL yards sales I've ever done, and should probably go down in the record books. I would really be ticked off, I do believe, over not making any money, had I also not accomplished a whole lot in my garage, which I probably wouldn't have done right away, had I not decided to do this sale. I am just really glad that the garage is back in a condition where you can walk through it, without feeling like you're a flamingo...staning on one foot, while looking for a place to put the other...considering the floor is soooo full! What are those things called in boot camp...where the soldiers have to run through tires, under ropes...OBSTICLE COURSE...hehehehehe...that was my garage! lol So, I am REALLY glad that is done....well, not done, but about 80% done, anyway. I can't say that I'm not disappointed though, that I couldn't have made a little money on top of it all. But, it is $15.50 more than I had before.
This is my second attempt writing this email. I had the first one complete...highlighted, and copied it, (or so I thought), and then preceeded to paste it into my blog, only to find out when I clicked paste, that I pasted something else. So, I returned to the email (open in another brouser) and when I went to highlight and copy it again...it just disappeared. I must have double clicked it wierd, or something. So...that means that here I am, going to try again.
Moriah has to work tomorrow, and Sunday, so we are meeting Lee a little after 7, and then headed for landon's for supper. This way, we can leave his car parked and will only have to take one car to ashland. We'll pick it up on the way home. We leave it behind one of the rest. there...it's handy to the highway. She'll spend tonight, and tomorrow night at Landon's, and then we'll come out on Sunday, to get her, and probably do something for supper again, like we are this evening. I have had a long day, so I don't wanna be out ther really late, plus Moriah has to be at work at 7, so she'll want to get to bed at a decent hour. I know, as they alway are, lee's days was probably long and hectic too. He's always ready to relax, and looks forward to getting home, and confortable. Rid of all restictive clothing....getting nakie...as we call it. Well, Gabriel says nakie, so Lee and I find ourselves using that term, over the normal "naked". lol
Well, all the clothes are bagged up, as well as shoes, and ready to deliver to the Salvation Army. I'm not really sure when I'll be able to do that...maybe tomorrow. I think they're open on Sat., and with all this rain that we're suppose to get this weekend, I don't want to have to leave it all outside. I got alot of little stuff packed...mugs, glasses...a couple extra coffee pots that I had...stuff like that. I also have a couple boxes of books. Most everything else is big and will just have to load in the car...some pictures, a satelite dish, a few electronic pieces. Our weather man says we're in for a doozie this weekend, when it comes to rain. Not suppose to let up at all till sometime Monday afternoon. But, if it looks like the weather will give me a bit of a break, and not catch me out in a terrential downpour(alot of you will remember the palm tree incident...I'll make sure and take care of that problem before leaving home..hehehehehe), I may try to load them in the car and get them dropped off, and out of my garage tomorrow. I didn't sell my box spring...I put a free sign on it, just incase anyone came by, and might grab it..or someone in the neighborhood...I sure wish they would. If not, I'll have to call my trash company and they'll arrange to pick it up. My trash guy that was here yesterday, says they charge like $2. So..if no one takes it over the weekend, I'll move it back in the garage till they come. If not, I'm sure one of my neighbors will complain about a matress leaned up against my garage door. I don't need any more grief from my landlord!
Well, guess I'll head outta here. We're going to have to leave in about 20 mins or so, to go meet Lee. Moriah's laying down taking a nap, so I'm sure it will take me awhile to get her up and around, and coherient. lol I'll be back here to check in and see what all has been going on, as soon as we get back from landon's tonight...hopefully, not too late. I hope you've all had a great day...hope you have a relaxing and delightful evening with family, or friends.....what ever puts that smile on your faces!
Take care
Much love,
Lev
