WELCOME
You have arrived in Lev's Notes. Hi, I'm Levonne, or Lev, as most call me online. I've tried to make this blog a mixture of things I can share, anything and everything that has to do with me. Whether it be expressed thoughts on something that is a part of me, or something that I love very deeply. You will see a variety here. Levonne:More About Me, is exactly what it say. Here you can read about my childhood, my faith, things that make up who I am, and where I came from. Bits and Pieces: Are special pages that are close to my heart. Things that mean alot to me, and are a very important part of my life. I live in the United States, in the midwestern state, Missouri. I have shared some wonderful links with you and tried to show you all that is a part of the beautiful "Show Me" state, that I live in. You will have access to my home pages, links to wonderful sites, from health, Christianity, to travel. I also share the links to web pages that I have designed, and also to the many wonderful groups of which I'm owner. Educational links to higher education here in Columbia, MO, where I live, and lastly, links to several ribbon campaigns that are close to my heart. I do hope that you enjoy the time you spend here, and I encourage you to return often, and visit those sites and links that you've not yet had a chance to. I trust that I have included wonderful links, beautiful music, stunning photos, and much more, that I know you will enjoy. And don't forget...my daily ramblings...all that is going on in my life from day to day. Hope that all this makes you know a little more about what makes Lev tick. Have a GREAT day! God Bless. Lev

Touching base

Just thought I'd drop in for a quick "HI". It's just a little after midnight, and I was about ready to just hit the sack, but figured I'd touch base with you as some of you, I know, have been asking how my dad is doing.

I'm happy to say that he is doing much better...feeling better than he was, and was able to come home from the hospital on Sat. All his test came back good...so drs. are not quite sure, but did eliminate the possibility that it was his blood sugar being low. They are more apt to believe that he possibly had a mini stroke, but that no more severe than it was should heal with no problems. He is back to himself, and not any problems with confusion, like he had on Friday. Unfortunately, his homecoming from the hospital, was dampened on Sunday, we he received a call saying that his only sister..and only surviving sibling, had passed away. My Aunt Alphild was 92, and she lived a full and God fearing life. I know she is in heaven rejoicing now, along with her husband, Harry, and her daughter Janelle. Unfortunately, with my Dad's health, there will be no way he can attend the services for her. She lived in Oregon. That's a long way from Lebanon, MO. Mom said, that naturally, he took it hard...and I know that it will be even rougher on him because of the fact that he will not be there to say goodbye. So...please continue to keep his health in your prayers, and also pray for strenght, from this horrible saddness at the loss of his sister.

Well, I did get quite a bit accomplished on Saturday, after all. I really didn't think I was gonna be much in the mood to do anything on Saturday...except maybe throw in a load or two of laundry...lol...or set in front of this computer....hehehehhe! But...I guess I got my second wind Saturday morning. And once I got on a roll, got quite a bit accomplished. I'm going to have a garage sale on Thursday and Friday, so every spare moment I get I've been trying to get things sorted through...mostly clothes, here in the house, and then trying to tackle the garage. There is soooo much stuff I have, some that I know I'll never get rid of, keepsakes, and the such, but, I told myself that there was alot of stuff that I could get rid of, and not shed any tears over. lol So...I've been trying to weed through that...and a few old dishes...stuff like that. I suppose clothes is mostly what I'll have. I do have a satelite dish...and two boxes...hopefully, I can sell those. If it doesn't sell...the clothes will probably go to Salvation Army...or Goodwill...probably Salvation Army...it's closer..lol. The rest of the stuff...well...the last couple of hours or so...I may be giving away free bags of stuff to people. lol Anything to get rid of it. I guess the rest will be trash bound. When I got home today, Lee and I spent about 3 hour working out in the garage. He was hanging some shelves, so that he can get his tools and tons of other stuff off the garage floor...so we won't trip on it anymore, get all his tools together, and not scattered all over the place. lol Hopefully, with the shelves, and the added space by getting rid of a lot of stuff...including a box spring for a bed...I hope. Even if I have to give it away...it will make alot more room in there. We won't know how to act with that much room. On top of the fact that we might actually be able to find things then, when we go out there to look for them. lol

Well...it's gonna be a long weekend coming up for me. My boss is going to be out of town Wed. Thur. and Fri....so tomorrow will be my last day of work till next Monday. When I found this out last week, that's when I figured I'd better get this garage sale done, or I don't know when I'd be able to do it again. Things are a little slow right now, so probably for the next couple of months, I won't be getting my full 20 hours, like we had originally talked about. But, I'm sure I'll get in at least 3 hours a day. That's better than nothing, and still more than I was getting at the cleaners. It will start picking up again around the first of Aug., just before school's start. But...rather than cut out a full day...he really needs me there everyday...we're just going to make the days a little shorter...at least for the next little bit. That's fine with me...just gives me a little extra time to do the other things I need, or want to do.

It's about 12:30...and I've been to bed REALLY late, the past few nights. I think I may call it a night. It's to work tomorrow...then back home to finish pricing stuff for the sale. I have a few items in the garage still to price, but mostly a pile of clothes that aren't done...they're all on hangers in the closet. I haven't gone through the house too much, but I know there are a few places left where I have stuff stashed...that I could probably do without. lol So...I'll probably do a run through search tomorrow and again Wed. too, I'm sure, to see what else I might come up with to stick in the sale. The more I sell, the better. I figure it will help compensate for the 3 days off work that I won't get paid for this week. I need to sell as much as I can!

I said I was going to bed...so that's where I'm headed. Hope you all had a great day...hope your tomorrow is Wonderful as well! God Bless!

Much love,
Lev
