Finally checkin' in.... ;-)
Here it is, almost 6:00, and I have literally spent the better part of the day in front of this computer...lol! I guess that is nothing new for me though, is it?
I did take a few minutes out to pick up my living room, and clean my kitchen, but that has been about the extent of anything I've done today, other than spending the day on my puter. The reason....I have a new blog page...of course...lol. You know me and my blog. Well, this is always something that has been close to my heart, my Swedish ancestry. Other than that, not much has been going on today. Yesterday at work went rather well, considering. Not a soul said a word about me not showing up for work those two days. I had my schedules in hand, that I had written down, and was ready to show them that this wasn't a deliberate act. I did have a chance to view the schedule for last Tues. and Fri., though, and it does appear that the schedule was changed. I can see faint hints of writing, underneath the new hours that were written in. So, at least that makes me feel better. It would have just been nice if someone would have owned up to the fact that "she" had changed the schedule, and didn't bother to say anything. I say "she", cause it's Mary that makes out the schedule, and she stood right there on Sat. and told me that it HADN'T been changed. That's a bunch of HOG WASH! lol
I sent Lee off with the car today. I didn't have anything to do , or anywhere to go, so just decided to "hermit" myself in the house, without access to a car....so here I was stuck....which was just fine with me.
We wanted to try and get together with Landon tonight for supper, but we didn't think we'd have enough gas to go pick them up, bring them to our house, and then take them home again, so we decided not to do that tonight. I'm going to check the gas in the car when Lee gets home, and we might possibly try to do it tomorrow night instead, but if not, definately on Thursday, after Lee gets paid. We may even try to take everyone out for dinner. We haven't done that in a long time, and there's a new Mexican restaurant here in town that I've been wanting to try. So...we may just do that, instead of cooking.
I'm fixing meatloaf, mashed potatos and gravy, for supper. I'm going to have to get that put together in the next little bit, and get it put in the oven sometime in the next 30-45 mins., so that it will be ready when Lee gets home.
It's been a nice day today, about 88, but it isn't going to stay that way for very long. Starting tomorrow evening, we'll be getting showers, and the temp is going to drop to about 45. Tomorrow, we're only suppose to have a high of about 56 down to 38 tomorrow evening, and by Fri. night, 35. BUURRRRRRRRR!!!! Wow, that is tooooo much like winter to me. Guess that means that all my plants are going to have to come in. I may still even do it today. The temp tonight is okay, but I work tomorrow, and by the time I'm off and home, it may be raining, so I don't know that I want to try and drag the rest of them inside during a thunderstorm. I have some of my smaller plants inside already, but the ones left outside are my big ones....I have two different kids of palms, and a huge peace lily...also a big philedandrem???? I have no idea how to spell that. Oh well...think phonetics. lol Did I spell that right?
Well, guess I'll get started on my meatloaf. Fun, fun! I'll be around tonight, to see what all's going on, on the net. Hope you're all around, and hope you'll make sure and take some time to visit my new page on my blog.... don't forget.... "Levonne: The Swede"
