Hello, on a beatiful Saturday!

Good Morning, everybody...Hope you are having a wonderful start to a beautiful day!
Lee had to be at work early this morning, 8:00, so he is already dropped off, and I'm back here, getting ready to start on my 3rd cup of coffee, in an attempt to wake up...lol

It's hard to believe that October is already here. Where does the time go? It seems like only yesterday that I was freezing, and wondering if summer was ever going to get here, and now it's come and gone, and Autumn slowing coming in it's place. Before long, raking leaves will be a thing of the past, and for some of us at least, will be replaced by shoveling snow....which I'm NOT really looking forward to. I don't like cold! If we have typical Missouri weather, our days of 75+ will not last much longer...probably not more than a couple more weeks. By Halloween, here in Missouri, it is usually pretty chilly. But, we have had some unseasonably warm weather the past several winters, so you never know with Missouri. Like they say, here in the Show Me state, if you don't like the weather today, stick around, cause tomorrow, you can never tell what we'll have. lol
Lee and I have an anniversary coming up this month, to celebrate. Oct. 11, we will have been married for 27 yrs. Wow...talk about time moving quickly. I sure can't complain though. What a wonderful marriage I've had. Oh, sure, we probably would have pictured ourselves a little better off financially, than we are, but we have everything that we ever wanted out of our marriage...endless love, beautiful children, and grandchildren...wonderful memories. We have sure had our battles along the way, as all married couples do, but when it always came to the nitty gritty, and was Lee and I against the world! And we're still hangin' in there! We sure plan on giving it our best shot for another 30-40 yrs., the good Lord willing... One of the main reasons that we've made it as far as we have, probably. Only with His help!
Our anniversary last yr. wasn't what we'd hoped, that's for sure. It was last yr. on our anniversary, that we buried Lee's father, after his having a massive heart attack. It was not our happiest of anniversaries. Let's hope this yr. is much less eventful, and more joyous than last.
Cindy, Lee's cousin that lives in Indianapolis, her daughter Michelle is getting married on Oct. 15th. We had told them that we'd try to come up, but I'm not sure if that's something we'll be able to do or not. My car hasn't been acting the greatest, plus, I have 3 tires that aren't in the best shape either. I don't know that taking off to Indiana, is such a good idea. If we'd get 1/2 way to Indy, and something happen, we'd be screwed! I'm not sure that there will be the money to try and get the car looked at or not, so something tells me that we're not going to be able to make it. You never know. I suppose if we're suppose to go, something will come through.
Well, guess that's about it. Hope you all have a great day. I'm going to do my best to enjoy mine, even though I do have to work. Saturdays usually pass rather quickly at work, so I'm sure it won't be that bad. lol We'll definately enjoy our evening at Landon's, so I'll just concentrate on that, to help me get through my day! Much love to all of you....HAVE A GREAT ONE!
Much love,
Lev
