WELCOME
You have arrived in Lev's Notes. Hi, I'm Levonne, or Lev, as most call me online. I've tried to make this blog a mixture of things I can share, anything and everything that has to do with me. Whether it be expressed thoughts on something that is a part of me, or something that I love very deeply. You will see a variety here. Levonne:More About Me, is exactly what it say. Here you can read about my childhood, my faith, things that make up who I am, and where I came from. Bits and Pieces: Are special pages that are close to my heart. Things that mean alot to me, and are a very important part of my life. I live in the United States, in the midwestern state, Missouri. I have shared some wonderful links with you and tried to show you all that is a part of the beautiful "Show Me" state, that I live in. You will have access to my home pages, links to wonderful sites, from health, Christianity, to travel. I also share the links to web pages that I have designed, and also to the many wonderful groups of which I'm owner. Educational links to higher education here in Columbia, MO, where I live, and lastly, links to several ribbon campaigns that are close to my heart. I do hope that you enjoy the time you spend here, and I encourage you to return often, and visit those sites and links that you've not yet had a chance to. I trust that I have included wonderful links, beautiful music, stunning photos, and much more, that I know you will enjoy. And don't forget...my daily ramblings...all that is going on in my life from day to day. Hope that all this makes you know a little more about what makes Lev tick. Have a GREAT day! God Bless. Lev

Sayin' "HI" in the wee hours

It's 2:07 a.m., Lee's asleep in the recliner, and has been for sometime. The movie "Goodfellows", is on TV, although, I'm not watching it, but the soundtrack is fabulous, and I am really enjoying all the old music...there are so many that are classics. It's raining, but has let up considerably from what it was doing before. It looks like we may have a bit of a break on the rain till at least tomorrow morning sometime. We are going to Landon's tomorrow afternoon, and since they're talking some possible hail, I think I'll put my plants in the garage before we leave...just incase. They've had plenty of water, for awhile at least...they are REALLY drenched. When I put them in the garage, I always leave the light on....just like Motel 8...hehehehehe, I figure some light is better than no light. Hopefully by monday afternoon, I can put them out again, to get some much needed sunlight, after their enormous drink! lol

I got a fish aquarium today. I have had one before, although it's been several years...at least 10, I'd say. I wanted to get it set up when we moved to Fayette... 7 yrs. ago, but never got around to it. After that, it got put on the back burner. Every so often I'd tell myself it would be neet to have one again, but really didn't have the place to put it. Well, not that I have gone through alot of stuff...that I put in that sale, and it's out of my house, it just happened to open up the bottom shelf of my baker's rack...in the kitchen. I really didn't have the money to do it...or I shouldn't have done it...at least not right now. It could have waited, I suppose, but, since I've been working with Aaron, and helping take care of his fish, it really got me wanting another one of my own. So...guess it's done now. I just pray now that God will see me through this monetary "boo boo", that I made. It did turn out beautiful, and I'm sure we'll get hours of enjoyment out of it. I know the grandkids will love it.

Moriah is at Landon's and working this weekend. We'll go tomorrow for supper, since we'll need to bring her back home for school on Monday. Lee is going to help Landon with a couple of small things on the car....yes...we FINALLY got the Buick fixed, and Landon has it. It still is not inspected, licensed, (in his name that is), so he needs to do that. But, the license plates on it are legal till April of next year. It just shows Lee and I as the owners still...which is probably the way we'll leave it, until he's ready to get it licensed....which hopefully, won't be too much longer...in the next couple of weeks, at least. I'm not sure what we're gonna have for supper...I'm sure Landon will put something together.

Monday will be back to work. My loooong 5 day weekend is almost over. But, I will have to admit, that I was able to get quite a bit done in those few days. Things that really should have been done a long time ago. I'm just really glad that the worst of it is finally over...as far as that garage is concerned, the yard sale, and all that. Now, my garage will be usable again! Mind you...not usable enough for a car, but...room for the bike, with plenty to spare. That will be great conpared to what we had before.

I didn't get much done at all today...no laundry at all...like i was wanting. I'm gonna make myself do it tomorrow before we leave for Landon's. I have some I want to fold and put away, and if I can get at least that done, I'll be happy. I did get my aquarium set up...my baker's rack cleaned off, and my kitchen cleaned. I did it just before supper, and we just had frozen pizza, so there's no mess in there to worry about tomorrow morning, so I'm sure I can get that bit of laundry done.

As most of you know, if you read my previous post, we had a rude awakening here in Columbia, when 2 travelers through our city, were killed in a herrific accident. It sure sobers you up when something like that happens. You hear about it and your heart just crumbles at the thought...and you hear the murmer that goes all over town, as you hear others talk also about how horrible it was. Like I said, it's a rude awakening that we need to cherish each moment we have...we are not guarenteed another.

It's 2:35 now...so, guess I'll close this out for this evening. I'm not too worried about the time being late, as tomorrw is a "sleep-in" day...which I love...and love even more, awaking on a new morning...with coffee in hand, to sit, relax, wake-up, and see what has been happening with all my dear friends on the net. I wish you all a wonderful day! I will be with you tomorrow, I'm sure.

Much love,
Lev
