Columbia missouri pictures

It looks like I've done it again. lol We watched a movie, and I didn't get on the puter till later...then ...as I usually do, I started to mess around, forgetting what I came in here for to begin with, which was send you all some pictures, and now, I've piddled around till it is 1am, and am just now getting it done. Boy...it doesn't take much to side track me. lol

Anyway, I decided to take the camera to work with me...or not necessarily to work...but along with me ...in an attempt to get some pictures. Unfortunately, with having to go to work, and trying to make a deadline, there was no time for scoping anything out...so just took some rather silly stuff...or seems so to me. I got a few pictures of the main road that goes through columbia's downtown...Broadway Blvd. This is the street that Tucker's is on...where Lee works. I did get a couple of Tucker's also...but they are dark...but I guess I'll include them. They don't look as bad when viewed larger. I also got a picture of the shopping center...called Crossroads Plaza... this is where the cleaners is located that I work at. I took the picture in 3 seperate pictures, and will put them together so that you can get a general idea of the entire plaza. You can't see the cleaners...we are around the corner on the far left side of the plaza...the first picture that you'll see in that group of three. Also, a couple of pictures from the plaza...looking down Stadium Blvd. towards the Columbia Mall...if you look closely, you can see the big C on one of the buildings in the distance. In this general area you'll find the Chuck E. Cheese..that we take the boys to...also when you hear me say I stopping by wally world on my way home...I usually go to the one that's located just a couple of blocks from here...just on the left..but don't think you can see it. And just a few 100 feet beyond that...you'll hit I-70...which travels east/west across Missouri This part of town where I work, is located in the North West area of Columbia...I live in the North East are of columbia...complete opposite side of town. lol

I do promise that I'll get some pictures of Tuckers...in the daylight, so that you can see what a beautiful building it is. Believe it or not, there were still lights on inside the store when I took these. Plus my flash. i was really hoping that they'd be better. They don't look 1/2 bad on my camera.

Well, it's late, but wanted to drop these pictures off...and say Hi. Hope you all have a good day. I'll be here tomorrow morning to spend sometime with you all, after I get Lee dropped off at work...if I can remember the camera...I'll take the picture then. lol

I hope you all had a good day...and hope your tomorrow is even better!

Much love,
Lev

just droppin' in to say Hi

Well, there isn't much going on this morning, just thought I'd drop in and say Hi, to everyone.

I just spent a little time talking to an old friend from Fayette...we haven't talked in while, so it was good getting to chat if even for a short time.

It's off to work in a bit....the beginning of the week, and back to the old grind. Hopefully, my week is going to be interrupted with the birth of a baby...sometime in the next few days. Although...I can't help but have the feeling that we're gonna end up having to induce on the 4th....or guess I should say, I won't be surprised if that's what we end up doing. Naturally, we were hoping we'd not have to wait that long...but, Mary may have other ideas. lol

It's a little chilly this morning...highs only suppose to be in the mid 40's, but by tomorrow, back up in the upper 50's. That's more my kind of weather. I'm sure not complaining about this VERY mild winter that we're having....I'm just hoping that something doesn't really zap us later on though....we're wondering if we're going to pay for it at a later time...let's hope not!

Well, guess I'll run...nothing new really going on...but just wanted to say Hi. Hope you all have a great day...and I'll be back to check in with you all tonight...after I get home.

Have a good one!

Much love,
Lev

trip to the park..new pictures of Eva

I'm not sure since when I need an excuse to drop in and say hi..but I had a good one tonight. I got some new pictures of Eva...which always makes me smiiiiiiile!!!

We took the boys back to Ashland this afternoon, and decided, since we ended up with such a pretty day, that we'd pack us a picnic, and take the boys to the park...and have cookout there...so, that's exactly what we did. I threw together some of the stuff I had here...hamburger, buns, slaw, birthday cake...Landon made some macaroni salad, and I had to stop at the store to get charcoal, and paper plates, and hot dog buns, so picked up some potato salad too. So..we had hamburgers, and big polish sausages...potator salad, chips, macaroni salad..it was rather yummy. The boys loved it, and naturally ran amuck, like a bunch of loonies. Of course, we knew it would be good to let them run off some energy, and we laughed, when it wasn't more than 15 mins. after we got home, and we found Gabriel, passed out in Landon's waterbed...slobber droolin' out his mouth...and dead to this world. lol He was DOG tired! Of couse, being the typical 4 yr. old...he hasn't stopped running alllllll day long! Boy...what I'd give to have that kind of energy again! I sometimes wonder if I ever did. lol

So...I just figured that since I got the pictures from Tara-Lee, of Eva...and we got a few at the park in Ashland...I'd just drop in and show you the latest.

It's back to work the next 3 days...and nothing really planned until maybe Tues..or Wed. Evening... as far as doing something with Landon and Amanda and the boys, again. I'm not sure. I have to go pick her up Thursday for a drs. appt....IF we don't have baby before then...which I sure wish we would! So, believe me when I say...when I know something...you'll know something. hehehehe

Guess I'll head outta here. Did everyone's day go good....? I hope? It was a good day in the Morgan house...I'll be back in touch ...probably tomorrow.

Nighty nite...sweet dreams

Much love,
Lev

you can see us cooking in the back ground, in the pictures taken at the park...that's me at the grill. lol gotta keep an eye on that food. hehehe

Goodmorning Sunday

Well, I don't know if I've ever been so ticked off in my life
as I was last night. Lee headed off to bed, but I decided to
stay up a while, send you all an email, because I wanted to
include the pictures that we took last night. I clicked on "add addresses"...and that's as far as it went. I couldn't get it budge after that. I couldn't get stuff to close...and was doing my best to avoid shutting down my email, and loosing the entire letter that I had just written. I messed with it I don't know how long, before I finally...around 3 am...said, "forget it". So...I just had to restart the puter, and all the time I'd spent writing your email, went capoot...I lost it all. Well, needless to say, I wasn't going to start it over at 3 am...so here I am this morning, to try one more time.

Here it is...the 29th, and it is obvious, that Mary Adele did not make it on her due date of the 28th, and Lee's birthday. I know that would have tickled Lee to death to get a new grandaughter for his birthday. Amanda's gonna have to have this baby...and soon...or, as you can see by the picture I enclosed, she's gonna POP!!!!

We had a great evening last night...it didn't go quite as planned, but still turned out to be a great evening. I picked Lee up about 7:15, and he was excited when I told him that I was going to take him to Longhorn for supper. Well, those plans didn't last long, when we got to Longhorn, and were told that there was 1 1/2 hr. wait for a table. I don't know why it never crossed my mind that they'd be that busy...especially on a Sat. night. I should have known better. We opted not to wait, since we had people at home waiting on us. We decided to try another little steak place...one where we'd never eaten, but before we could get there, Lee remembered another place he's been wanting to try, so we headed there instead, and thought we'd see about that. Well, that didn't do us much good either, as there was a 45 min wait there...or try to eat at the bar...which isn't always very comfortable. So, we decided to head back to the little steak place which wasn't far from where we were anyway. They weren't busy, and we got right in...fast service, and good food. Lee had a 10 oz. sirloin, baked potato, and greek salad...I had jumbo fried shrimp, baked potato, and salad bar. When we got back to the house, around 9, I guess...every one here had supper over with, and waiting on us to get here to have birthday cake. Naturally, Lee and i were too full for cake right then, so we did the birthday present thing first, and waited a bit to have cake and ice cream. It was about midnight when I finally got landon and Amanda home.

Moriah wanted the boys to spend the night last night, so Kenny and Gabriel stayed here with us. Landon had to work this morning...6:30, but will probably be off in the next hour and so, and we will be headed out there in a bit to take the boys back, and then we'll be doing some supper out there tonight.

It was suppose to be rainy and nasty here again today, but looks like the weather man has changed his mind. lol It's 51, and the sun is shinning, so I'll definately take that over the rain.

When I left the house to head out to get Lee...as I was taking the exit ramp not far from our house, that takes me onto the highway, there, sitting on the shoulder of the exit ramp, was the toy car...that you see a picture of below. It was apparent that someone lost it...probably off their truck...so I pulled off on the shoulder of the exit...backed up a bit, and grabbed the car and stuck it in the back seat of the car. Needless to say, as you can tell from the picture..the kids thought it was great. They're outside playing with it now, as we speak.

I don't have the financial means to take some some of the old pictures I have...and have them scanned and put on a cd...I wish I did, so that I could share some of my old photographs with you. When you look at the large version of the pictures below...the one of Lee and the boys, on the back wall...you'll see a little girl in a purple dress...guess who? lol I was about 5. Left, and up a bit, is another b&w picture of a baby...that's me too...I was 6 mos. there. I was a cute bugger....when I was little. I don't know what happened! hahahahaha

Well, I guess I should head outta here. I didn't get up till noon, and I suppose it's about time to get dressed, as we may be taking off to Landon's before too much longer. He should be getting off about now. I told him we'd try to be out there around 3...but he knows how we are on Sunday's mornings, and never get out and around as soon as we say we are. I think he's use to that. lol

I hope you all have a beautiful day, and I'll be back later this evening to see how you've all been, and how your day has gone. Have a GREAT one!

Much love,
Lev

It's the weekend!!!

Goodmorning, everybody!

I finally have caught up, I think, and can sit down and unwind a bit before having to leave for work. Boy, is this one of those days when you don't want to get out. lol It's not that it's that cold, I don't guess...46, which you sure can't complain about for Jan. 28. But, it is raining, and nasty....grey, and no color. It's just a yucky day. They're talking some possible thunderstorms...but don't talk like it's going to be anything to bad. What a morning it would have been to be able to sleep in...and then keep cozy in the house for the rest of the day. Well...they say tomorrow is going to be a repeat of today, so I'll have to live that dream out tomorrow.

As far as today...I'm headed for work in about 30 mins. It's a Sat., so I'm there at noon, instead of 1, and will be off at 5. That's at least one good thing about having to work on a Sat. As soon as I get off, I will be going to Ashland to pick up Landon, Amanda and the boys, and bring them back to our house. At Landon's suggestion, they are going to fend supper for themselves here, and I am going to go pick up Lee, and take him to his favorite steak place for supper... (sorry Michael...he'll probably have a big rib eye, or maybe even prime rib ). Then, we're going to come back home, and spend the rest of the evening with the kids and grandkids, and will have birthday cake and ice cream. I made Lee's favorite...German chocolate. You are all invited to a party!!!! I believe I have enough cake...(see what you think in the picture below...hehehehe) I'm sure I'll get more pictures tonight to share with you. I'm going to show up at Tucker's a little early, and "I'm", going to ask Rob what the chances are of stealing my husband a little early...since it's his birthday. I told Lee I was going to do that...but I'm not sure if he believes me. hahahaha He just sorta grunted, and said, ...I don't know that that's going to happen. So...we'll see!

Tomorrow, like I said, I'm going to live out that dream of sleeping in, on a rainy morning, listening to the rain drops hit the window, and being able to say warm and cozy inside, out of the wet and cold. Well....I may get out by choice...we've talked about going out to Landon's for supper...but, that will be later...not first thing in the morning like having to go to work...lol

Well, guess I need to head outta here, and get the rest of my stuff together...or make sure I do, I should say. I'm sure I'll be back later this evening...it might be late, but I will definately be here tomorrow morning, with coffee in hand, to spend my Sunday morning with all you here.

Have a great day!

Much love,
Lev

It's Friday, It's Friday...

Good morning, guys! It seems to be a little quite around the net this morning. I'm not sure if anyone is here, or if you're all in hiding. lol

Everything is still about the same here. I had yesterday off, and today also. It's back to work for me tomorrow.

Still no baby news. It could just be any day now. Amanda had an appt. on Wed. She is still dialated to 2, but the dr says that can change at anytime. She's still having contractions, so it won't be long, we don't think. Her due date is tomorrow, the 28th...Lee's birthday. She has made an appt. for next week, and the dr. is going to go ahead and make plans for inducment on Feb. 4th...if nothing happens before then...which he seems to think she won't have to be induced. If a woman doesn't deliver by her due date, they like to wait 1 week before inducing labor. So...if nothing happens between now and then, we will be having a baby on Feb. 4th for sure.

We had made plans for supper last night, but Landon and I had gone to the store...did a bunch of running around, and by the time we finished it was alot later than we had planned. Amanda wasn't feeling too good and decided to stay home, but Landon and the boys came over for tacos, and watched a movie, then I ran them home.

I'm not sure what I've got planned for Lee's b.d. tomorrow. We haven't got much money to spend. He does need another pair of jeans...(not very romantic, is it?) lol. But, pratical! hahahaha I think I may take him to his favorite restaurant...Longhorn steak house. He always enjoys a good steak, and says theirs is the best. The two of us can eat pretty inexpensively there...prob. around $30. I think I'll go ahead and pick up Landon, Amanda and the boys, and have them here at the house. When Lee and I are done with supper, then we can come back here to have birthday cake and open presents. It is a double decker German choc. cake, for him. That is his favorite. So, that's what I try to fix for him each year. That's a great thing for a diabetic to be eating....isn't it? lol

I haven't got much planned for today...just pick up a little around the house, and then have to run to the store to get the stuff for Lee's cake, and pick up his jeans. I'm going to have to go ahead and bake his cake today, since I have to work tomorrow. I won't have time to do it between the time I get off, and the time I need to pick Lee up. So, figured I'd make it ahead of time. Hopefully, we can get some good pictures for me to share with you. Of course, there's always the possibility that Lee will be getting a new grandaughter for his birthday too....should Amanda have mary on the 28th. That would tickle Lee to death!

Well, I've about coffeed myself out, since getting back from taking Lee to work...guess it's time to start on the pepsi...lol...and on this house. There really isn't much to do, so I'm hoping it won't take me long...if I'll just dig in and do it. I'm not really sure what time I'm going to head to the store, but I have a feeling it's gonna be a little later on this afternoon...probably around 3 or so. That will still give me plenty of time to get Lee's cake done, and cool my heals awhile, before having to go pick him up. Supper isn't going to be that big a deal tonight. Gonna use up some left over smokies...with slaw, mac and cheese, and cornbread. That won't take any time at all. I'll probably have it practically done, maybe other than baking cornbread, by the time I get back home with Lee. It is really nice some evenings...on my days off, when we can come home, and eat supper at a decent time. lol Last night, it was 9 before we got tacos done. When I'm working, and Lee and I don't get home till 7:30 or so, and then have to try and cook...it's alot of time 8:30 or later before we eat. Depending on what I fix. So...hopefully tonight, we'll be able to come home and eat about 15-20 mins. later...long enough for the cornbread to bake.

I'm sure at some point this afternoon, I'll be back to check in and see if ya'll have "appeard out of hiding"...heheheeee If not this afternoon, tonight for sure...infact, probably even before I leave to go to the store...if the house work goes as planned. Of course, my puter is always on...so I'm constantly checkin' in from time to time....just to see if anything has popped up.

I hope you all have a GREAT day! I'll be back later on, and will talk to you all then!

HAVE A GREAT ONE!

Much love,
Lev

sharing some pictures

Wanted to drop in and show you all a few more pictures. One of them is from Thurs. when we took the kids to Chuck E. Cheese for their birthday. I don't know how I missed it when I sent the others. The others, and just stuff we've messed around with here at the house. I've included a picture of my bedroom....when I was talking to you all about moving a piece of furniture from my living room in there...anyway, now you can see what I was talking about. I did take some pictures on my regular camera, but remembered I now don't have to wait to get them developed...with our new digital. Also...Moriah, is quite the little artist. She has really gotten into painting...splatter painting, as she calls it...and we do have little splatters of different colors in places that they really shouldn't be...hehehehe Also, a picture of moriah...she was messing with the b&w setting on the camera...and a picture of our dog, Bogey, and our cat Spooky....although, I may have already sent them once...can't remember. So... as I'm bored, as I told you earlier...thought this would take up a little more time, before having to leave for work. Hope you enjoy the picts.

Much love,
Lev

I may take my camera to work, and get some pict. there...so you can see what I do. Maybe there will be pile upon pile on the floor (not that I really want that), so that you can see how things can tend to pile up around my work. lol I may be able to take a few more shots of places around columbia, to share with you also.

Well, got these added, so guess I'll take off....ttyl

bored...so emailing and boring you too

Well, here it is, Tuesday. Not that much new is going on, but I've taken Lee to work, and here I sit...bored out of my gourd! hahahaha So...thought I'd drop in and say Hi.

I'm not sure that there is much to tell you.... that I didn't already say yesterday. i guess I shouldn't complain that there isn't much "action" going on to report. The only action that we're wanting right now, is 'BABY' action! lol Of course, I said that this will probably be the week that she does something....would just be my luck. Mary...the older lady that I work with in the afternoons, is going to have the next 3 days off...she is having cadarac surgery...so, Rex has already had to rearrange the schedule to make sure that her spot is filled in the afternoons. So....we're already short handed. If Amanda goes into labor in the next 3 days, and I have to call in to work to tell them I'm not coming....Rex is going to go balistic(?)....well he'll just go crazy and have a fit, in other words. Last week one of our employees, a younger kid, was sick for two days, and had his dad call into work for him. They were all talking about how he couldn't bother to call for himself....WELL....I've already decided that if Amanda goes into labor in the next 3 days, and I have to call in....forget it....I'm gonna have Lee call Rex for me! hahahahaha! I don't even want to hear Rex, because, I'm afraid that he might give me an ultimatum...and then, I'm afraid that I'd say something that I'd later regret...or cost me my job. I know he gave me a bit of a hard time with Tara-Lee, when we were waiting on Eva... until I just put my foot down...told him that if I had to leave work, I was sorry, that I knew it would put him in a bind, BUT....that if Tara-Lee went into labor....I WAS going to leave. He never said another word...so guess he realized that I was serious. I'm sure he'll probably give me a hard time over Amanda too...but, if he doesn't want to have to try and find someone else to replace me, then I suppose in a couple of days, he'll get over it. If he chooses to replace me,...so be it. I'm sure there will be another job....although it's not my cup of tea to have to go out and search for one. But, I still have an application in at the florist shoppe, that I told you about a few months ago...and could also check at another one of the clothing stores here in town....the owner comes to the cleaners, and knows me...and another big plus is, that Lee works on her jewelry, and she LOVES him....so maybe it would get my foot in the door.

Oh well, guess that's enough blabbin' about that. So, what else is going on today? Not much! I have to work this afternoon, and tomorrow. Lee and I both have Thursday off. He thought he was going to have Sat. off...since it's his birthday, but informed me yesterday that it is Thurs. So, we will get a day off together afterall, and that hopefully means, that next Saturday, we'll both be back on our routine of having everyother Saturday off together. Let's hope so anyway. Amanda has a drs. appt. Thurs. morning, so guess we'll see what the latest is on that, when I take her. Other than that, on Thursday, I'm not sure what we're going to do. I think Landon may have Thursday off...if he does, we may go ahead and plan to get together for supper, etc...unless we're getting together at the hospital...which would be okay too.

Tara-Lee called last night, and wondered what we were doing....I was just fixing some supper. They were getting ready to get on the puter, and turn on the cam, if we weren't doing anything...Eva had just gotten up from her nap. So....the webcam came on, and we got to see Eva, and talk with Kirk for probably 1/2 hour or so. Eva is just getting sooooo big, and prettier every day! Her hair is beautiful, and the curls just lay on the back of her neck. She looks so much like Tara-Lee did, when she was a little girl. I use to have some pictures of Tara-Lee when she was a little girl...I'll see if I still have them in my puter...if I do, I'll send one. She was such a cute little girl, and nautrally, grew into a beautiful woman. Kirk...is looking FABULOUS.....just as tan and buff as he can be. lol I guess the Australia summer fairs well with him. A few days ago, they had temps of about 105 a couple of days in a row, and they said it was hotter than hades! Being the warm weather person that I am...I'd rather have the 105, than even the 46 we have right now, which I must say is not bad for January in Missouri and all...and the temps. are going to be going up into the high 50's over the next several days. I sure can't complain, but summer would be MUCH BETTER! Of course, I don't even know where January went....it just went "poof", and out the window, so, I'm sure that before I know it, the weather is going to be warmer, and spring will be on it's way. BOY, AM I READY! I've had enough of winter! I guess my hormones were kickin' in....after we talked to Kirk...I was just so down, ....missing him and Eva SO much, and had to go to my room for a little cry. I don't really know that it helped much.... Naturally, I loved getting to talk to him, and see him and Eva....but it just made the hurt in my heart, of them not being here with me, almost unbearable. They have only been gone a little over 4 months....it seems like a lifetime already.

Well, as bored as I am....I'm probably boring you guys too, so guess I'll head outta here. I've just been yackin' off the top of my head, about stuff that I know I've already told ya... So....here's hoping that you all have a wonderful day. I'll be back tonight, and see what you've all been up to.

Here's lookin' at you kid.......
Much love,
Lev

Woman's (real) Prayer

WOMAN'S (REAL) PRAYER:
Now I lay meDown to sleep.
I pray the LordMy shape to keep
Please no wrinkles
Please no bags
And please lift my butt Before it sags.
Please no age spots
Please no gray

Ho Hummm...Monday again!

Good morning everyone, and how are you all doing on this Monday morning, and the beginning of a new week? We had a wonderful weekend here, and boy, was I ready for a couple of days off in a row!

Still no baby word. Amanda is still having contractions. She has a drs. appt. on Thursday, I guess we'll see what new is going on then, if nothing happens before then. I kept thinking it would be nice if we could have done this baby thing this weekend...when I had two days off in a row. I'm really dreadin' having to call in to work to let them know I'm not coming in, if something happenes that she starts to have this baby at a time when I suppose to be at work. Rex, my boss, was giving me a bit of a hard time when Tara-Lee was getting close to having Eva, and he seemed to not understand that when she went into labor...whether I was suppose to be at work or not...I was gonna be outta there. lol I know there were comments about how she could have this baby by herself, and didn't need me there. Of course, I imformed him, that I was suppose to be in the delivery room, and that I WAS going to be at the hospital when she had this baby. I'm sure there will be some comment made about Amanda...but, he'll just have to get over it. If it means him working a little longer that day, or having to call someone to come in...so be it...but I WILL be at the hospital, when Mary is born.

It was pretty lazy around our house this weekend. I had Sat. and Sunday off...Lee had to work on Sat. I didn't do much of anything on Sat...just hung around the house...did a bit of laundry and that was about it. Landon called Sat. afternoon...I guess around 5 or so. We were going to make plans for Sunday for dinner, and he had said that he had Sunday off. I told him that I'd get in touch with him Sunday, after we got up and around...probably around 12 or 1, and that we'd figure out what we were gonna do for dinner. I tied calling all morning Sunday, and never could get through...so just decided to drive out there. Come to find out...Landon had to go into work, and wasn't going to get off till around 4...so I just went back to his house and hung out for awhile till he got home. He didn't get off at 4...closer to 4:30, and by the time we got all our stuff together, we headed out for our house around 5. Amanda wasn't feeling to whoopie...so she stayed at home, and just Landon and the boys came over to the house. We fixed babatas, and mashed potatos...gravy, corn, and hot cresent rolls. It was pretty tasty!

Well, Saturday is Lee's birthday. Birthday boy will be 51. This is the one time, when for about 4 months, Lee and I are only 1 yrs difference in age...once May gets here...and I turn 53...it will be back to 2 yrs. diff. Lots of people tease me about robbing the cradle...hehehehe...of course, they do the same thing with Landon....as Amanda is 4 yrs, older than Landon. Amanda and Kirk are the same age. I'm not sure what all we have planned for Sat...nothing really, as of yet, but I'm sure we'll have Amanda, Landon, and the boys come over to spend the evening, and share it with Lee.

Well, it's the beginning of the week, and back to work for me...Mon-Wed. I have Thursday off, and will go get Amanda and take her to her drs. appt. This week, I'll have Thurs. and Fri. off, and then have to work on Saturday. Naturally, Lee has Sat. off, so who knows how long it will be before we get our every-other-Saturday off, coordinated together again. All the Mondays, that he's had off due to holiday closings the past couple of weeks, have really messed up our normal days off.

We've talked to Kirk a couple of times this week. He, Tara-Lee and Eva, are doing great! He spent quite a bit of time online with Landon last night...they were trying to figure out some game that they're wanting to be able to play together, online. They were having some trouble, but I think, they finally got it figured out, but by then it was too late to start playing, so maybe, it will at least be set up and ready for them to play, the next time.

Well, I don't guess we've had much else going on, or coming up in the next couple of days. Just the same ole stuff! lol Our biggest excitement now, is just waiting for Mary to get here, and I sure hope it is SOON! Naturally, I'll be sure and let you know as soon as something happens.

Hope you all have a great day. I'm sure I'll be back tonight, to check in and see what you've all been doing throughout the day. Hopefully work will so quickly and smoothly today, and I'll be back here tonight, before I know it.

Have a great one!

Much love,

Boy...TGIF!!!

I am soooo glad that today is Friday. This week has seem to drag out something awful. I suppose it might be because I added my extra day, beginning this week...I normally don't work on Tuesday. So, with that day being added to my schedule, my week has been all out of whack, wondering where my normal Tuesday off went. lol I work today, but am finally going to have a Sat. and Sunday off together...for the first time in two weeks. I've had to work the past couple of Saturdays. Maybe now I can get back on my regular schedule, until the next time Jacob wants to switch a day off...or something like that. I found out after the first of the year that I have some vacation time coming, now that I've been there over a year. I didn't think I worked enough hours per week to qualify, so that was a nice surprise. I have like 19 hours, or something like that. The only trick is, the company will only let you take it like 3.5 hours at a time...guess that keeps them from having employees take off for long periods of time. But...that is okay...it's better than none at all. If we can plan it right, I need to try and find a weekend, that I'm going to have 3-4 days off in a row, and then take my allotted vacation time, one each day...that way I'm at least paid a little bit for those days, that I normally would get paid for. So...maybe we can work something out. I'm looking forward to Sat. and Sunday off, though, I know that for sure.

We had a blast last night at Chuck E. Cheese, with Kenny and Gabriel. I think the adults enjoy it as much as the kids. I couldn't tell you how many games of skee ball I played. lol. And didn't do too bad, I might add. lol Naturally, Kenny and Gabriel didn't stop all night long...and didn't stop when we got back to the house either. hehe Naturally, we didn't get to Chuck E. Cheese's at the time I was hoping, so that set the entire evening waaaaaay off time wise. It was about 11:00 before we got back to the house to do cake and ice cream. As I told you before, we had 8 people that were going, and own a car that will seat 6...legally. There was absolutely no way to get everyone in the car at the same time! I was hoping to be done with my shopping in time to go back home, take Moriah, Amanda(friend), Landon, Kenny, Gabriel, and Amanda to CEC's, drop them off, then go get Lee, and come back. Well...needless to say, I got done at Wally world at 6:45....Lee gets off at 7. So...I had Landon with me, and we decided to go get Lee, drop them off at CEC's, then go get everyone else. So...that's what we did, and by the time we got back the pizza were delivered to the table shortly there after. So, all in all, it worked out okay. It was about 9:30, before we were ready to leave. Now...going home, with this many people...and not enough room... I took Lee, Amanda, and Amanda, and Moriah, and Me...all stuffed in the car, and I do mean stuffed. Gabriel's car seat was in the back, but we couldn't put it in the trunk, because the trunk was full of birthday presents, so Amanda...Moriah's friend, who is tiny, squished up front between Lee and I. Landon stayed at CEC's with the boys, while I ran everyone else back to the house. It was almost 10 before we got home, and got everyone unloaded. Then I had to go back to CEC's, and pick up Landon and the boys. By the time I got there, they had closed, and Landon, Kenny and Gabriel were waiting outside on the step. lol I'm sure glad that it wasn't cold. I still had not had a chance to get ice cream, so was going to stop and get some gas...add some mins to my phone card, so that we could call Kirk, and get some ice cream, then head back to the house. Well...I got the gas...and the mins. on the phone card, and got in the car and drove off. Drat!!!!! Once I figured out I'd forgotten the ice cream, then that meant we had to stop again, to get ice cream. By the time we got back home, it was just a couple mins till 11. Then, we still had to have cake...ice cream, and open presents. So...needless to say, it was a late evening. But we did have a BALL!!!! I've added pictures, so have a look! We also took a short video, with out new camera, but unfortunately, even though it is just about 2 mins. long, it is too big to add as an attachment. I don't think there's any other way to do it, so I can share it with you. If you know of some way though, please let me know.

Amanda is doing about the same...still having contractions, and hopefully, getting this baby thing underway and going. The dr. told us on Wed. that it could be anyday. She was dialated to 2 on Wed. So, we're really hoping that it is going to be SOON...VERY SOON! I will be sure and let you know when it starts "going down". And when I become Nannie again, you can bet I'll be tellin' the world. lol

It is cold, rainy, and misterable here today. It is about 43, the high is only suppose to be 45, and it's drizzlin', and just a nasty day. At least tomorrow and Sunday, the sun is suppose to be shining, but it isn't suppose to be above 45 those days either. But, at least maybe the sun will help, and make it look brighter at least. And, there is none of that snow forcasted for the next few days, so this too is good!

Well, guess I'll get these pictures attached, and get outta here. I've got to head to work. Got a couple of bills to pay on the way.

Hope you have a great day...I'll be back tonight!

Much love,
Lev

Hey Guys!

Hey, guys!

Here it is, Thursday already, and a day off for me...finally. The morning has been pretty relaxed, or so far anyway. Things will start to get a little crazier this afternoon, when I start trying to cram a bunch of things, in a short amount of time. lol. I know...the time will go by faster than I need it to...if it doesn't, I'll be surprised.

So, tonight is the night that we are going to celebrate Kenny and Gabriel's birthday. Gabriel's was last Sunday, the 15th, and he turned 4. Kenny's is Saturday, and he turns 7. Naturally, Gabriel got to spend some of his birthday money last Sund...and he definately knew it was his birthday...he was telling everybody...."I'm 4"...and then holds up 4 little fingers. But, we told Kenny and Gabriel both, that on Thursday, they were going to get to come to Nannie's house for birthday cake and ice cream...which excited them a WHOLE lot! Of course...they don't know that before we come to Nannie's house..we're going to take them to Chuck E. Cheese for supper! They had a ball the last time we took them, just shortly after it opened. So, hopefully, that will be a surprise for them.

I took Lee to work, and came home and finished up on a couple of things I've done to my blog. It had been awhile since I did anything "different" to it. I have added a new page...Levonne: My God My Faith. You'll find the link on the left side of my home page...there with Lev: The Computer Nut...Lev: The Swede...close to the top of the page. Hope you'll all drop in for a visit. You'll also notice, when you visit, that you'll be hearing different background music...both on the home page, Lev's Notes, and also on the Music, Music, Music page. This is just another way for me to be able to share some of my music with you. I hope you'll all enjoy the new additions. Bella...I found the cluster map on your blog, and I loved it! Hope you don't mind, I followed the link, and got one added to Lev's Notes too. It is really cool to view the map. It's great being about to pick out the dots in certain locations, and knowing where some of you are from, can't help but think that those little dots are some of you! But see...now that I have this map...and like I said, knowing where some of you are from...if I don't see any little red dots pop up around your area...I'll wonder if you're even coming to visit! lol I'm watching ya'll now...so better drop in! lol

Once I got my pages finished, I got started fixing the birthday cake for tonight. It's in the oven, and almost done...just another 8 mins. or so. It will be nice to have that out of the way, and not have to worry about it later. There's not much work to have to do on the house, so hopefully, the cake will be about all I have to do until I go later this afternoon to pick up Amanda, Kenny, Gabriel, and Landon. Landon is working, and will get off around 3. I'll bring them back to the house, and then around 4:30, Landon and I are going to run pick up Lee's check, then over to Wal Mart, where I can get birthday presents for the boys. It's hard to say what time I'll be done there. I'm hoping, in time to come back home...grab everyone and take them to Chuck E. Cheese, drop them off, and then go get Lee at work a little after 7. We've got 8 people going, and we have a car that seats 6 stops...and that's cramped..not to mention illegal... So, I guess we'll have to do the transportation in sections. lol But, I'm sure we'll get it done. After Chuck E. Cheese, we come back to the house for cake and ice cream, and to open presents.

Amanda had a drs. appt. yesterday. It appears that it won't be long before Mary gets here. Amanda is dialated to 2. So...it could be in 2-3 days....or 2-3 hours..lol Who knows! But, I know that we're all VERY excited, and getting quite impatient for her to get here...(I do believe that Landon is worse than any of us...including Amanda...lol)

Well...the cake's done, out of the oven and cooling! I'll frost it once it cools off.

It is a beautiful day in Missouri today...here it is...the middle of Jan., and the temp is 61, and suppose to hit 64 before the days over....WOW! But...I "shant" get too excited. By tomorrow, it is only suppose to be in the lower 40's, with a chance of snow for the next 2 days. ONLY IN MISSOURI!

Well, guess I'll head outta here, and try to get started on the stuff I need to get done. It's not that much, at least, so I'm sure I'll be checking in periodically, to see what all is going on with you folks today. I hope you have a great day, and I'll talk to you soon, I'm sure!

Have a GREAT one!

Much love,
Lev

Droppin' in on this Tuesday

Goodmorning, everybody!

Hope you're all doing good on this Tuesday morning. This Tues. seems a little strange to me, because I have to go into work today, which is not what I'm accustomed to. I USE to have Tuesdays off...note the key work there..."use". I've picked up an extra day at work, and Tues. are now among one of my work days. So...it's off to work in a couple of hours.

I haven't touched base with you all in awhile, so thought I would. Not that there's been a whole lot going on. I guess, the amount of our excitement the past couple of days, has been Amanda...she has been having contractions, and some of them pretty regular at times. They were over Sunday evening for dinner, and she spent most of the evening timing contractions, and their length. They started at about 10 mins. apart...lasting from 30 secs. to about 1 1/2. She did this for a couple of hours. Then the contractions dropped down to 6 mins apart, and began to stay around the 1 1/2 min. mark in length. I was really wondering, if she had kept going, if we would have not ended up in the hosp. that night. I did finally convince her...and it took some doing, to get up outta bed...which doesn't help a thing...put on her jacket, and walk down to the end of the street, and back. I told her that if she'd do that...they'd either stop...or at least die down, if it wasn't the real thing. So...she finally did that but, came back saying they weren't any better...oh well..I sometimes wonder if she's trying to "impress" me...as if I don't know what it's like...after having 3. Anyway...when they got home, she took a bath, and they died down some, and she slept all night long. But, we have only 11 days till her due date...which drs. still don't seem to think she'll make..but guess we'll just see. Mary will come when she's good and ready! But, I don't think it's going to be much longer...you never know. She has a drs. appt. tomorrow. It's hard to say what might happen then, once she is examined. I suppose there is always a possibility that the dr. could send her on to the hosp. then, if she's that close. I will make sure and let you know when I'm gonna be Nannie again. I just love it...it is sooooooo much fun!!!!

Here are a few more pieces of jewelry that Lee has designed. I appologize that the scalloped band is so fuzzy...as is the CMA ring. I was hoping on the CMA ring, that you'd be able to see the details. Oh well, maybe you will get the general idea. Lee made me this ring for when we first joined the CMA over 10 yrs. ago.
http://www.cmausa.org/ I also added the picture of my wedding ring laying flat...and also included the first one I sent you...so that you can see them side by side. The Micky Mouse ring, Lee made for Moriah when she was about 5. Oh...and the baby blocks. These are his pride and joy. On one side is the initial of my/the child and on theother side of the block is the childs birthstone. Or...it can also be used with grandchildren...which is what I'm going to try and add next. I'm gonna have 4 of them to add. One will be a "K", with a garnet, for Kenny, a "G", and a garnet for Gabriel, an "E" and a diamond for Eva, and then a "M" and another garnet for Mary. Unfortunately...these blocks aren't cheap...and even at Lee's cost, runs about $80 per block. They retail for about $160. Anyone with a special order????? Let me know! I can sure supply you with all the information you'll need to contact the store to let them know what you need.

I also included a few pictures of Kenny and Gabriel, that we took, just messin' around with the camera on Sunday. It was Gabriel's birthday, he's 4 and he didn't stop all day long, Landon said...so you can see what happened to him, the minute he slowed down. Kenny, now, on the other hand...as you can see...was as rambunkcious as ever. lol We did do anything big for the birthday sunday....but told Gabriel, and Kenny both, that we were going to have cake and icecream on Thursday...for both Gabriel, and Kenny's birthday. What I didn't tell them, was that we're gonna take them to Chuck E. Cheese before, as a surprise. They had a ball the last time we went. Then we'll come back to our house to do the cake, and presents. I'll try to have somemore pictures for you then, and also have a couple of rolls to develope..that include pictures clear back from Thanksgiving. lol So, no telling what will be on them that I'll want to share with you.

Well, I guess that is about it. I sure can't think of anything else that's going on. Working...and waiting for Mary to arrive. I'll be outta here, and headed for work, in about an hour. I'll definately be back tonight to see what all has been going on while I was gone. Hope you all have a great day!

Much love,
Lev

Who Says Men Don't Remember Anniversaries
A woman awakes during the night to find that her husband was not in their bed.She puts on her robe and goes downstairs to look for him. She finds him sitting at the kitchen table with a cup of coffee in front him. He appears deep in thought, just staring at the wall. She watches as he wipes a tear from his eye and takes a sip of coffee."What's the matter, dear?" she whispers as she steps into the room. "Why are you down here at this time of night?"The husband looks up, "Do you remember 20 years ago when we were dating, andyou were only 17?" he asks solemnly. The wife is touched thinking her husband is so caring and sensitive. "Yes, I do," she replies. The husband pauses. The words are not coming easily. "Do you remember whenyou father caught us in the back seat of my car?""Yes, I remember," says the wife, lowering herself into a chair beside him.The husband continues..."Do you remember when he shoved a shotgun in my face and said, "Either you marry my daughter, or I will send you to jail for 20 years"."I remember that too", she replies softly. He wipes another tear from his cheek and says... New Camera, and Jewelry pictures

Just droppin' in for a quick Hi. I don't have much time before I have to leave for work.

Lee and I got money for Christmas from his mother, and from my Mom and Dad, and we had decided that we wanted to get a digital camera. With 3 grandkids, and another due soon, we'll be takin' lots of pictures, thats for sure. Plus, Lee has always wanted one in order to be able and take pictures of jewelry that he has made...then have the ability to blow it up. Well, I've been telling you what a fantastic jeweler I married, and what beautiful work he does, so other than my photography, and still learning how to use this new camera, here are some pictures of a few of the pieces that Lee has made for me. I do have a few more pieces that I can take pictures of...a couple more rings, and a couple of necklaces. But...no time to do that right now, as I have to leave for work in about 15 mins. But, I just had to take the time to send you these pictures...since I've been bragging on my hubbys work. Just a quick note....the last picture...moveablewedding, is my wedding ring. If I can explain, it is made of links...hinged together...so that it flexes and moves like a watch band...when I take it off and lay it down, it goes flat. I'll have to take one like that to show you...that never crossed mind. lol Anyway...will try and take some more pictures tonight...and also will include Lee's wedding ring, which is like mine, only smaller links and narrower...he didn't want his as wide.

Have a good day. Enjoy!

Much love

Hump day...my favorite

Good morning, on this wonderful "hump day". You all know how I like hump days...just means that my weekend is getting closer.

I spent the entire day yesterday running around. By close to 11 last night, I was at the point where I didn't think I'd ever get back home,...only being home through the day for just a couple of hours...from about 5 till a little before 7.

I got Amanda and Moriah dropped off at school yesterday morning. Hickman is having finals this week, and classes aren't starting till 9...and then they're out at 12:30. After dropping them off...we headed for Tucker's where I dropped Lee off, and then headed back home. I was here for about an hour. Long enough to mess on the puter a bit...get dressed, and then leave here around 10:15 to head to Ashland to pick up Amanda and take her to her drs. appt. Not too long before I was getting ready to leave, Landon called...I assumed he was on his break, as he sometimes comes home, but he called to tell me that the principle had brought Kenny home from school,...the nurse thinking he had strep throat. So...Amanda called Micky D's to let Landon know what was going on. His mgr....with them not being very busy, told Landon that if he wanted, he could go ahead and go home, take the rest of the day off, and get Kenny in to see a dr. The school had already told Amanda that they have about 30 cases of strep in the school, and that Kenny wouldn't be allowed back until he had seen a dr., and had been on medication for 24 hrs....I guess, and it is understandable, they have to do it this way,...making sure these kids are getting treated, or this stuff will just be passed back and forth all over the school, and then back to those who have had it and are over it. It will be a vicious cycle, if it isn't stopped.

So, after Amanda got done with her dr. appt., we took Kenny to urgent care to be seen by a dr. They took a culture, and yes...he does have strep....on top of that, he's broke out all over his torso, and groin area, with a bright red rash....drs. said it's what they call a "strep rash"...guess the strep can literally appear in the form of a rash too. Kenny was running a bit of a temp sunday night, when they were here, but we had to trouble getting it down, and keeping it down...we just figured it was some sorta 24 hr. bug...but the dr. said, that was the onset of the strep beginning....and his body was trying to fight it off. The drs. put him on an antibiotic. He was to stay at home today, but can return to school tomorrow. The contagious part of it will be over by then.

All is going good with Amanda...her dr. is still saying that she doesn't think Amanda will make it to her due date on the 28th. So, it looks like Mary is possibly going to be here before too much longer. We're all exicted about it, and all Landon can say is..."I just want her to be here". He was the same way with Gabriel...just so excited to finally have her here, after waiting for her for so long.

By the time Amanda did her dr....Kenny's dr...then had to go drop off Kenny's prescription to be filled, and it wouldn't be ready till about 4, went to Wal Mart to pick up some stuff...Landon and I both, and back to the pharmacy to pick up Kenny's medicine, it was close to 5. We/I, didn't really think we'd make any plans for supper...I had really planned on being back home before then, but since the entire day was gone by now, we decided we'd just come back to the house, wait for Lee to get off at 7, then run on out to landon's and grab a bite of supper. We had already decided that we wouldn't make a late evening of it...after Lee had worked all day, and had to work today, and me running all day...we were both tired, so left Landon's a little after 10, after eating, and watching Law and Order SVU. We got home just around 10:30 or just a little after. Amanda spent the night with Moriah...and we were up again this morning, dropping them off at the school just before 9...and then took Lee on to work thismorning.

I've got to work today...1, as usual. Then, will have Thurs. and Fri. off, having to go back to work on Sat. At least I don't have to be there at 7a.m., like I did last Sat.

I held my breath most of the day yesterday...lol. We had been forcasted to get 3-5 in. of snow beginning Tues. morning early...and not suppose to stop till evening...well...we woke up Tues. with no snow...it had just spent the time raining...very cold and wet...but yet all day yesterday, it looked as though it could cut loose. By news time last night...they said that the percipitation had passed us by...so I was relieved that we weren't going to be getting any snow....Imagine my amazement, when Lee walked past the kitchen window about 11:30 last night, after we got home, and announced..."well, look at it snow!" I'll be, if we didn't have about an inch already. This wasn't more than an hour or so after we got back from Landon's. Boy...was I glad that we hadn't decided to stay later, and would have ended up driving in that mess. So, I immediately got online to check the weather...Lee flipped the tv over to the weather channel, and we couldn't believe what we were hearing..... forcast for today...sunny, with a high of 52, and by tomorrow 62. By the time I took Lee to work this morning...dropped the kids off at school, the roads were already clear...and for the most part, dry. The sun is shinning, and with no wind, it doesn't feel bad at all. I just ran outside and took a picture...so, I'll have something to show ya when I get my film developed. At this rate, the snow will about be gone, and the temp up by the time I have to go to work at 1. With the sun shinning as brightly as it is, it sure won't take long.

Well, I guess I'll let you all go for now. I'm sure you have better things to be doing, than sitting here and listen to me go on and on. lol I hope you all have a great day. I'll be back tonight, to check in and see what's been happening while I was going.

Have a good one!

Much love,
Lev

Touching base this Monday

Well, I haven't been here to touch base with you all in a couple of days. I hope that your weekend went well, and the beginning of your week started off good.

We went to Landon's for supper Sat. night. Lee got off a "little" early...if you call 30 mins early, considering he went in 2 hours early. The boss decided to inform everyone around 11, that he didn't feel good and was going to go home and go to bed. I know very well, knowing him, that he knew Lee was probably going to ask to leave early..since he came in early, and he figured he'd better say something before Lee had the chance to. There is someone there that can lock up, but naturally, just the fact that he wasn't there, just made things more hectic, and much less likely for Lee to be able to leave early. My suspicions were just hightened, when Lee told me that at one point they tried to reach him on his cell, and no one answered...went right to voice mail...and then not long after that, one of the stores down the street, that a friend of his owns, called Tuckers to try and find Rob, to let him know he'd left his wallet. They said they had tried his cell, and also his house, and that he wasn't at home. So...It sure sounds to me like he had his plans all ready figured for the afternoon. Anyway, Lee was able to leave about 6:30.

I was soooo ready to sleep in Sunday morning, and boy did I...till about 11. But, it felt so great! Lee went out to try and mess with my car, to find the anti freeze leak, but says he can't find anything, even with crawling under the car...so I don't know. I do know that he wasn't much in the mood to work on the car, so I don't really think he looked super hard, or really tried that hard to find it. It wasn't something obvious, and apparently is going to take a little more time. It was after 2 before he ever got started..or even looked at it for the first time. When he figured that he couldn't do nothing, he went ahead and went to Ashland, picked up Landon, amanda and the boys, and brought them back to our house. We had already made plans for dinner.

Work went pretty good today, and moved by rather quickly. We weren't super busy, but naturally, had to have those last few that just had to show up about 5 mins. till closing. We literally had 3 people walk through the door at 5 till...all with clothes. So, by the time we got out of there, it was about 6:30.

I have tomorrow off. I don't have much planned except to pick up Amanda and take her to a drs. appt. at 11. Last week the dr. told her he didn't think she'd make it to her delivery date, which is the 28th...so we'll see what he says tomorrow. After that, I don't have any plans that I know of, except to come home. I've got a load of laundry that needs to be done, so maybe I can get that done tomorrow.

For the first time in a long time, I don't have something new that I've been wanting to add to my blog. I seemed to bombard you all with so much all at one, when I first started it, especially, now, once I got the music page at a stand still for awhile... I feel like I should be starting to work on something else...the subject...???...that is what I'm not quite sure about. Alot of my pages were something that I've always been interested in sharing with people, and they just naturally came to mind first. But, I'll have to admit, I'm a little at a loss for another page right now. I'm sure at some point I'll think of something else. Right now though, I feel like I'm going through "blog withdrawal"! lol

Well, just wanted to drop in and say Hi, and fill you all in on my exciting past couple of days. (wow..the excitement was tremedous..wasn't it? lol) It seemed that Lee and I and our family, went through so much for so many years in a row...we are definately due for some "less exciting" times.

I hope you all had a good day. I'll be for awhile tomorrow morning, with coffee, trying to wake up, before having to go pick up Amanda. I'm sure alot of my afternoon tomorrow will be spent here on the puter, so I'll definately be checking it to see how everyone is doing.

Have a great evening!

Much love,
Lev

Photo tour of the Holy Land

I guess my mind has been turned a little toward Israel lately, with all that has been happening there. I have collected several pictures from the Holy Land, over the past few years. How wonderful I think it would be, to visit there one day, and walk where our Lord, and so many other patriarchs of the Bible, once walked. I thought I would share these photos with you. Each have names under them, and although abbreviated, I hope that you'll be able to make out what most of them are. They are fabulous pictures, and I hope you enjoy them.
Love,
