Droppin' in on this Tuesday
Goodmorning, everybody!
Hope you're all doing good on this Tuesday morning. This Tues. seems a little strange to me, because I have to go into work today, which is not what I'm accustomed to. I USE to have Tuesdays off...note the key work there..."use". I've picked up an extra day at work, and Tues. are now among one of my work days. So...it's off to work in a couple of hours.
I haven't touched base with you all in awhile, so thought I would. Not that there's been a whole lot going on. I guess, the amount of our excitement the past couple of days, has been Amanda...she has been having contractions, and some of them pretty regular at times. They were over Sunday evening for dinner, and she spent most of the evening timing contractions, and their length. They started at about 10 mins. apart...lasting from 30 secs. to about 1 1/2. She did this for a couple of hours. Then the contractions dropped down to 6 mins apart, and began to stay around the 1 1/2 min. mark in length. I was really wondering, if she had kept going, if we would have not ended up in the hosp. that night. I did finally convince her...and it took some doing, to get up outta bed...which doesn't help a thing...put on her jacket, and walk down to the end of the street, and back. I told her that if she'd do that...they'd either stop...or at least die down, if it wasn't the real thing. So...she finally did that but, came back saying they weren't any better...oh well..I sometimes wonder if she's trying to "impress" me...as if I don't know what it's like...after having 3. Anyway...when they got home, she took a bath, and they died down some, and she slept all night long. But, we have only 11 days till her due date...which drs. still don't seem to think she'll make..but guess we'll just see. Mary will come when she's good and ready! But, I don't think it's going to be much longer...you never know. She has a drs. appt. tomorrow. It's hard to say what might happen then, once she is examined. I suppose there is always a possibility that the dr. could send her on to the hosp. then, if she's that close. I will make sure and let you know when I'm gonna be Nannie again. I just love it...it is sooooooo much fun!!!!
Here are a few more pieces of jewelry that Lee has designed. I appologize that the scalloped band is so fuzzy...as is the CMA ring. I was hoping on the CMA ring, that you'd be able to see the details. Oh well, maybe you will get the general idea. Lee made me this ring for when we first joined the CMA over 10 yrs. ago. http://www.cmausa.org/ I also added the picture of my wedding ring laying flat...and also included the first one I sent you...so that you can see them side by side. The Micky Mouse ring, Lee made for Moriah when she was about 5. Oh...and the baby blocks. These are his pride and joy. On one side is the initial of my/the child and on theother side of the block is the childs birthstone. Or...it can also be used with grandchildren...which is what I'm going to try and add next. I'm gonna have 4 of them to add. One will be a "K", with a garnet, for Kenny, a "G", and a garnet for Gabriel, an "E" and a diamond for Eva, and then a "M" and another garnet for Mary. Unfortunately...these blocks aren't cheap...and even at Lee's cost, runs about $80 per block. They retail for about $160. Anyone with a special order????? Let me know! I can sure supply you with all the information you'll need to contact the store to let them know what you need.
I also included a few pictures of Kenny and Gabriel, that we took, just messin' around with the camera on Sunday. It was Gabriel's birthday, he's 4 and he didn't stop all day long, Landon said...so you can see what happened to him, the minute he slowed down. Kenny, now, on the other hand...as you can see...was as rambunkcious as ever. lol We did do anything big for the birthday sunday....but told Gabriel, and Kenny both, that we were going to have cake and icecream on Thursday...for both Gabriel, and Kenny's birthday. What I didn't tell them, was that we're gonna take them to Chuck E. Cheese before, as a surprise. They had a ball the last time we went. Then we'll come back to our house to do the cake, and presents. I'll try to have somemore pictures for you then, and also have a couple of rolls to develope..that include pictures clear back from Thanksgiving. lol So, no telling what will be on them that I'll want to share with you.
Well, I guess that is about it. I sure can't think of anything else that's going on. Working...and waiting for Mary to arrive. I'll be outta here, and headed for work, in about an hour. I'll definately be back tonight to see what all has been going on while I was gone. Hope you all have a great day!
Much love,
Lev
