The weekend is here!

So, is everyone getting closer to being ready for Christmas?
I think I am. I've only got 3 more people to buy for, and I'm going to do my best to get that done on Tuesday, since I have the day off...plus my payday is Monday, and I have to wait for that.
So, as usual, yesterday, and the shopping spree, didn't go quite like we had planned...things never seem to go quite accoriding to how we plan them sometimes. lol
I got out to Landon's around 12:30 or a little after. We ran down the road to check on the Christmas trees they were selling there in town, but they didn't look very good, and were fairly expensive on top of that, so we just decided to wait and look when we were at Wally World. We got back into town in time for me to meet with Moriah's teachers at school...it's a yearly update thing we do, since she is ADHD. Then ran Landon to his appointment, ran Moriah home, came back and picked up Landon, and then headed back to Ashland. Amanda wasn't feeling very good, so decided not to go, which meant we also didn't have to try and drag around the boys, or take them to our house for Moriah to watch. That made things a little easier. A friend of Landon's called...and needed a ride...turns out he needed a ride a couple of places. That's were our plans for the evening strated going astray! lol Oh well. anyway, Dean went with us while we did our shopping...which made things go somewhat slower than they probably would have, had he not been with us. We didn't get out of Toys R Us, till after 7...and still wanted to go to Wally World, and Lee would be done a little after 8, and then I had to pick him up. Well, I figured we'd just head to Wal-Mart...get done what we could, and finish up later if need be. Needless to say, Wal-Mart was an absolute mad house, with a WHOLE lot of frenzied people! lol Boy...was I glad to get out of there. By the time we got checked out at Wal-Mart, and Landon found his tree, and we got it tied into the truck, it was a little after 8:30 before we got downtown to pick up Lee. He had gone on over to Osama's...a wonderful little coffee shop, just around the corner from Tucker's, and was having a cup of "rocketfuel"... as he calls the kind of coffee that he likes there...it's their house blend. From there...we headed out of town, truck full of Christmas tree, back seat with Dean and Landon crammed shoulder to shoulder, to make room for the car seat that had been in the trunk, on top of al the packages that we had. Lol.... we were a little cramped! lol We dropped Dean off...he lives on the way...just about 5 miles from Landon, then headed onto Ashland, got landon's tree unloaded and into the house for them. On the way home, I called pizza hut and ordered a pizza....it's not far off the road, on our way home, grabbed it at the drive through window,...it was ready when we got there, and finally walked through our door at 10. Boy...was I ever glad to get home!
I ran into a dear dear friend at Wal-Mart....Marlon. I say friend, because although at one time he was my boss...when we lived in Fayette...he remained my friend. It was sure good seeing ya... Marlon! ...and come back to visit my blog often! We kept in touch via email after we moved to columbia...but the email got screwed up, and I thought I'd lost touch. But, we have the email all straightened out now, so we won't have to worry about loosing contact.
Today went pretty good at work, and moved along rather quickly. We got a little busy just before closing, but we were lucky enough that we had it all caught up by the time it was time to go...we got out of there just a little after 6. I work tomorrow too...12-5. Saturday's always seem to go a liitle faster...I'm not really sure why...it's the same amount of hours.
Well, I guess that I'll head out, but wanted to drop you all a line, and fill you in on the past several hours, and all that's been going on. I hope that you all had a great day, and hope you have a wonderful weekend! It's gonna be a chilly one here in Missouri...and we're suppose to see a little bit of the white stuff...or so they say!
Have a great evening!
Much love,
Lev
