WELCOME
You have arrived in Lev's Notes. Hi, I'm Levonne, or Lev, as most call me online. I've tried to make this blog a mixture of things I can share, anything and everything that has to do with me. Whether it be expressed thoughts on something that is a part of me, or something that I love very deeply. You will see a variety here. Levonne:More About Me, is exactly what it say. Here you can read about my childhood, my faith, things that make up who I am, and where I came from. Bits and Pieces: Are special pages that are close to my heart. Things that mean alot to me, and are a very important part of my life. I live in the United States, in the midwestern state, Missouri. I have shared some wonderful links with you and tried to show you all that is a part of the beautiful "Show Me" state, that I live in. You will have access to my home pages, links to wonderful sites, from health, Christianity, to travel. I also share the links to web pages that I have designed, and also to the many wonderful groups of which I'm owner. Educational links to higher education here in Columbia, MO, where I live, and lastly, links to several ribbon campaigns that are close to my heart. I do hope that you enjoy the time you spend here, and I encourage you to return often, and visit those sites and links that you've not yet had a chance to. I trust that I have included wonderful links, beautiful music, stunning photos, and much more, that I know you will enjoy. And don't forget...my daily ramblings...all that is going on in my life from day to day. Hope that all this makes you know a little more about what makes Lev tick. Have a GREAT day! God Bless. Lev

Hello Saturday

So, how is everyone doing on this Saturday morning?

It's not a bad day temp wise,I guess, in Columbia. About 30, which is like a heat wave compared to the single diget temperatures that we've had for the past couple of days. It's still way to cold for me, but it is sure better than what we've been having. The sun is occasionally peaking through the clouds....let's hope the sun wins out before the day's over. The snow has stopped, finally, but still ended up to with much of the stuff as far as I'm concerned...guess we got about 3". Kenny and Gabriel have sure been lovin' it though, as has Landon...hehehe. He was up and outside playing in the snow on Thursday...his day off, by 8am. NO WAY...would u catch me up at 8 in the morning to be playing in the snow! ha! Guess it's my age now...lol. When I was a kid, you couldn't drag me in out of the snow. I would put off coming in for as long as I could, despite the fact that my hands and legs, and face would be so cold that I couldn't even feel them. My lips would be blue, and I still wouldn't want to come in. Boy...the old bones don't handle the cold like that anymore.

Well, I racked my brain last night, and couldn't think of anything that I "had" to do today. I had already told Landon that I wouldn't be back out to his house till tomorrow, trying to conserve on some gas a bit. Got my rent paid yesterday...went to the store last night before I picked up Lee and got dogfood, and catfood...so I just couldn't think of any reason why I would need the car today...so....I sent it to work with Lee, which means I'm stuck here with no transportation...other than a bike...(forget that, it's toooooooo cold). So, hopefully, I'm not going to realize later that I was suppose to do something today that I forgot about...if so...guess it's out of the question, or at least until Lee gets home...which won't be till about 7:30 tonight.

Landon works today, so it wouldn't surprise me if he gives me a call before he leaves work...he's been doing that, just to touch base, while their phone's been disconnected. Amanda got the bill paid a couple of days ago, and they'll be out to turn the phone back on, on Monday. Boy, it will be nice to be able to pick up the phone and call them again. They've been pretty good at work, about understanding why I've called a couple of times, knowing that his phone was disconnected. If I don't hear anything from him, I'll try giving him a buzz about the time he's off...which will probably be around 3....forgot to ask him what time he went in.

I've got a few Christmas presents to wrap and get under my tree...right now, there's only two packages under it...makes it look a little bare this close to Christmas. Just two weeks left, and I have hardly begun my shopping. I am done, I think, with Landon and Amanda...and have a couple of things for Kenny and Gabriel..right now, just some socks. I pretty much know what else I'm going to get....or for some at least. I know what I'm going to get my mom...and also the rest of the stuff for the boys, and a couple of ideas about Moriah, but it's just the waiting game now, till Lee get's paid again Thurs., so I can try to do a little more...on top of paying what bills I have to ...to avoid having anything shut off. So, hopefully, I'm going to have some money left over to do some more shopping with.

Yesterday at work went pretty good...moved by rather quickly. This was a good thing! Naturally, I was still a little bummed out over Landon's car,...it still seemed so unbelievable. But, listening to the radio at work all day, and the repeated news of this poor little 5yr. old boy in Chicago, that was killed when that plane ran off the run way, and also news of a young boy that had died from a car accident here in Columbia, has a way of making you think, and puttling life into a little different perspective. I found myself saying that I had no reason to be that upset over a car....it is a car, and although not it won't be easy, it CAN be replaced. Like these I heard about on the news...I'm not having to bury a child, or visit a sick one in the hospital....my children, and grandchildren are safe...and I am thankful for that. The car......there is always another...replacing my children, or grandchildren....never. So, it really makes you realize what is important in life. I was so terribly upset after our fire, almost 4 yrs ago...but it didn't take me long to realize, that even though I lost alot materially...what mattered most, was spared...the lives of two of my children that were in that house when it caught on fire. Things can always be replaced...but not those that we love!

Sending Lee to work with the car, I was able to sleep in a bit, since I didn't have to get up and take him to work. Guess I got up around 9...I think it was. Moriah is still in bed. I'll probably give her a little more time to sleep, then go get her up. Never mind...she' just walked out of her room...she's up now. lol I'll give her some time to wake up, and then probably in an hour or so...I'm going to try and get started on some serious housecleaning...and guess who is going to help...(although, it probably won't thrill her...lol) But, if both of us will bust butt...maybe it won't take us too long, and then we'll have the rest of the afternoon to be lazy, and do whatever we want.

I got another music page added...."Best of the Best". I really had fun doing this one, as it includes all those songs that have become "classics", and "the best", when it comes to the music industry. I sure hope that you'll visit these pages, and enjoy them. I'm sure this will be one that I'll be adding more to at a later date. Once I get my housework done, maybe I'll have some time this afternoon to put together another page. I do hope that you've all been enjoying the music that I've chosen to share with you. I suppose if nothing else...I've had fun making them.

Well, I guess I'll head outta here for awhile. I may see if Moriah wants to get on the puter, and get some of her stuff out of the way, before we start cleaning, and I may wrap my Christmas presents while she's doing that...that will have one task behind me then.

I hope that you all have a wonderful day....!

Bella...I wish you a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY...tomorrow! I hope you have a GREAT ONE! Catch a birthday kiss from me......
Blowing A Kiss

Much love,
Lev
