How's your Tuesday Goin'?
How's everyone's Tuesday going so far? It hasn't been a bad one here, at all. It's a semi cloudy day here, but a wonderful 80F, with a beautiful breeze. I'm wearing my shorts, it's so nice out.
I'm blessed with today off. Got up, too Lee to work, then headed back home, and from then on, pretty much got stuck doing stuff to my blog. You know how I go through those phases of having to add stuff. lol And, when I get started, it is often times difficult to make myself stop. hahahaha. So, I now have some new information on my blog, that I hope you will stop by and take a look at. One of my yahoo groups, we've been discussing traveling, visiting places we've never been, or returning to places we have been. So, I've been sharing several links, and hopefully, some interesting informationon my home state of Missouri. I found so many neat links, that I just decided to add a section to my blogs home page...Lev's Notes, with links to all sorts of place that one would be able to see, if visiting my state. I've also added information links, history, photos, etc. So, if you've never been to Missouri, thinking about visiting, or can't wait to come back, then I hope you'll take a look at these links, and see the beautiful and interesting places, that Missouri has to offer. Hope to see you there, and please leave a comment!
After messing with my blog, I decided to head into town, and go do some looking at our second hand stores. We have 2 Salvation Army stores, and 1 Goodwill. I was able to hit the 2 Salvation Army stores, but them opted to come on home, since it wouldn't be long before Moriah got home. She wants to go shopping for a (bra...) LOL Well, I did find 2 at the Salvation Army, and I'm hoping that she'll like those, and then I'm going to suggest going out to Goodwill, vs. Wally World, and see if we can find some more. It may mean her getting several bras, or only one. I paid $1.50, for the 3 I got just today. You'll pay $10, or more at Wal Mart for just one. So, we'll see what she says when she gets home. I also found us some lounge pants...flannel, which is a must for the upcoming winter months, and also found me a pair of running pants...wind resistant. I love those in the winter, because they're lined and so warm, plus I can wear them to work, and it can get cold there in the winter. I'm going to look at see what else they might have a Goodwill. There is a Wal mart in the same shopping center as Goodwill, so I suppose that if Moriah doesn't find anything she likes, we'll go on over there. I do need to get some sewing machine needles for my machine. I've got some alterations to make, and my last needle that's in there is bent. I was also looking for some jeans for Lee, but didn't have any luck this morning, so hopefully, Goodwil will have a bigger selection. They usually do, only thing is, they're prices are also quite a bit higher. Although, All jeans at Salvation Army are only $2. At Goodwill, you may pay $5. Even that can make a big difference, as to how many one could buy. Unfortunately, till Thurs. I'm very limited on money...lol...as usual. At least my gas tank is full though, and I've got some food. So, maybe I'll be okay. I really have no business going to Goodwill, but chances are will end up there anyway, when Moriah gets home, which will probably be in about 20 mins.
It's back to work tomorrow...off Thurs. and Friday, and then work again on Saturday. This is the Saturday I'm working for Jacob. I've had two Sats. off in a row, now I have to work too in a row. Oh, well.....ya give a little, you get a little.
I keep telling myself that I need to get on the phone and call my mom, and see if or what plans they might have in mind for Thanksgiving. Last year, we went there, the year before, they came to our house. It is about a 3 hr. drive, and it isn't easy on my mother...she's just not a big fan of driving. My dad can't do any driving right now because of his health. I'm not sure what my Uncle Doc, and Charlotte are doing...(I still haven't been able to make myself call her Aunt. My Aunt Jo died 5 yrs. ago, and my Uncle Doc, just remarried last year...2 days before my Granny died.) So, anyway, if they don't have any plans with her children, then there's a possibility that we may be able to talk them into coming up here. It would sure be easier for us, because in order to get the entire family there, we'd have to pile 7 people in a car that is stuffed with 6, and one person would have to be without a seat belt, and 2 of those seven are children under 6. SOOOOOOOOOOO...that would be BIG TIME TICKET, if we were to get stopped. We were so hoping that the buick was going to be fixed, so that we would have two cars, but...as I told you, that didn't happen. Anyway....I guess I just need to get on the phone and do it, or I'll blink my eye, and it will be here before you know it, and no plans will have been made. lol I'm forgetting too, that Lee's mom is closer now. It's possible that she may be able to come for Thanksgiving. Guess we'll just have to see what happens.
Well, I guess I'll head outta here. Just wanted to stop by, say "HI", and let you all know about the new Missouri links on my blog. http://www.levsnotes.blogspot.com I do hope you'll all drop by.
I'll be back this evening, I'm sure, so hope to talk to some of you then. Hope the rest of your day is a great one! Take Care.....
Much love,
Lev
