Hi...Enjoying the weekend?

Hello, Everybody! I hope you have all been doing well.
It has been so long since I was in to say "Hi", Wed., and for an old person like me, who sometimes has trouble remembering things, I hope I'm going to be able to remember what all has gone one since I talked to you last. lol I'm sure I'll leave out 1/2 of it. Hahaha

So, let's see...last I talked to you, I believe I was headed to work on Wed. Well, from what I remember, it was an okay day, I guess...evidently pretty uneventful, or I would have remembered. lol I hope!

Wednesday night, Landon called to inform me that he'd lost the belt off his alternator, so, I knew what I was going to be doing on Thursdday. lol Of course, I had planned to go out to his house anyway, since I had the day off, it's just that now, I was going to go out a little earlier than planned, so he could get started on the car as soon as possible. I dropped Lee off at work, then just headed right to Ashland. I really expected Landon to up and gung ho to work on the car...but, needless to say, whe I arrived, he was still in bed. He got up just a few minutes after I got there, and a few minutes later, he decided he wanted to go to Mc Donald's, and get some breakfast. So, that's where we headed. Once we got back to the house, we started messin' with the car. We reached that point where everything was taken apart...his alternator is an absolute "bear" to get to, and then we needed to head into Columbia, to get the belt he needed. We talked also about getting together for supper, so was trying to fit all of this in to the time frame we had, and trying to get back to the house in time to finish the car before it got dark. By the time we got the parts for the car, went to our house to pick up Moriah, it was evident that we weren't going to make it before dark. We were all a little excited, because we had made plans to take the boys to Chuck E, Cheese for supper. I think the adults were as excited as the kids. So, we decided not to rush. We hung out at our house for a bit, till it was time to go get Lee's check. We left there, ran to the grocery store, where I western unioned Kirk a little pocket money, then headed out to Landon's to pick up Kenny, Gabriel, and Amanda. We had a little bit of time to spend there, before having to go pick up Lee. We all had a great time, and the pizza was wonderful. Needless to say, Kenny and Gabriel loved it, but as a grandparent, it was just as fun for me, watching them enjoy theirselves so much. It isn't the cheepest, but I'm sure we'll do it again. Both the boys have birthdays in Jan., maybe we can take them there for a party.

Friday, was work again. It was just an okay day, nothing too eventful. amanda called me just after I got off work, to tell me that one of her prescriptions was ready to be picked up. I told her that I'd get it for her, and bring it out. It's meds. she really needs, or I sure wouldn't have made the trip. So, I picked up Lee when I got off, ran through the pharmacy to get her medicine, then we headed to Ashland. Needless to say, Lee and landon got to messin' with Landon's car, and before you know it, it was after 9:30. I was finally able to get Lee outta there, and we just ran through Mc Donald's and got some sandwiches to take home.

Today, has been absolutely wonderful! Lee and I both had the day off, and tomorrow also. It was the same last weekend. Two weekends in a row like that sure doesn't happen very often. I can't even tell you the last time. lol So, as you can imagine, it was a very lazy morning around here. I just slep till I felt like crawlin' out of bed. I'm not even sure what time that was...about 10:30, I think. After Landon got off work, I ran back to his house to get the battery charger, so Lee can hook it up to the buick overnight. Landon has the day off tomorrow, so I'm going to go get everyone about noon, then they're coming over here, and Landon's going to help Lee with the car. Then they're going to stay for supper. We're having meatloaf, mashed potatos, w/gravy, green bean cassarole, corn, and garlic biscuits. Sounds like it's going to be a pretty tasty meal. Or, let's hope so anyway. lol

I've sent you all a bit of information of some areas around Missouri. Hope that you enjoyed reading a little about this part of the country. I may have to put together a photo album, of all the beautiful place we have in Missouri. That would be a nice way to share Missouri with all of you.

Well, guess I did a pretty good job at remembering what's happened the past couple of days. Guess as I typed, it started all coming back to me. I suppose that means the memory isn't too far gone, yet! lol I hope you have all had a wonderful day. It was pretty cloudy and dreary here today, not really that cold, but by 5:30, had some pretty bad thunderstorms roll through....even had some hail. It got pretty nasty there for awhile. It has all moved over us now, and by tomorrow, we're suppose to have a warm, sunny day. That will be nice! Sunny

Hope you have a beautiful day as well!

Much love,
Lev
