Oh no....Monday
This computer was sure givin' me fits yesterday!!! Boy, was I discusted! I was doing my best to get in and say Hi to everyone, and it just wasn't happening! I tried all day long. I tried 4 times to email Kirk, and several time to groups and friends. I finally just got discusted and stopped trying. It was getting late anyway. But, I had emailed Kirk today, and didn't have any trouble, so let's hope not here, either.
Kirk called yesterday...it's was early morning there, about 6:30. Eva had just woke up and was hungry. He was able to talk to Moriah...she answered the phone, and boy, was she excited to hear his voice. This was the first time she'd talk to him since he left. She really does miss him. We've spent most of the weekend with Landon...so I think it helped Moriah alot being able to be around Landon and missing Kirk so much. It was back to school for her today, and I'm sure she'll get right back into her routine and things will somewhat get back to normal for her.
We went to Landon's last night for "dinner and a movie"...lol Fried chicken, and all the trimming. It was pretty good, if I do say so myself...even if I was the cook...or at least the chicken. Landon did the potatos, greenbeans, and corn..etc. I fried chicken. Then we watched the 3rd Lord of the Rings. We really stayed later than we should have, since Moriah had to get up early for school. We didn't get home till about 11:30 or so. She sets her alarm for 5:00. I did good to get up at 7:00, so we could take Lee by the hosp. so they could do bloodwork. He is doing a catscan tomorrow...routine for his lymphoma. The tumor is not growing, hasn't been since diagnoised almost 5 yrs. ago. They're not expecting to find anything new. Now...finding out that the tumor was "smaller"...that would be something new they could find out...that would be a different story!!!
Well, it's back to work for me today after 5 days off. Boy, did that spoil me! I sure don't want to go back to work now! I really am glad that I had those days though, to re-coop after Kirk left. I can tell ya, that I wouldn't have been worth a POOP, had I had to go to work! So...it back again to the routine of things. That sure beats the excitement and stress of the past several days, for us here in the Morgan family. It's been a rough week for us. Now we just take it day to day.
I'm gonna head off of here...still a little leary about this email, and wanna make sure this one goes through. So....hope you all have a great day, and I'll be back to check in with everyone later. Have a good one!!!
