Headed for Indiana
Hey Everyone...
I figured I needed to get in and drop you all a quick line, and let you know I'll be gone for a couple of days. We're leaving later to head for Indiana. The funeral for Lee's cousin is on Monday. It will be late when we arrive tonight, maybe even early am, depending on what time we get out of here today. lee is wanting to try and get out early, but just not sure how early, or if that will even be possible. We could be ready to leave by 4, or we may not get on the road till after 7. Either way, it is a very long trip, and it's pouring rain here now, which I hate to drive in. I sure hope by the time we get on the road, the rain has stopped.
Blood work is not in, but the coroner has ruled the death a suicide. Needless to say the entire family is in shock. Death is sometimes hard enough to deal with, but when the one you love, deliberatly does something that will hurt the very ones they claim to love, is very difficult to understand. Naturally, everyone is thinking...."no you didn't love me...or...you wouldn't have done this.". I've had friends do this, but this is the first time it's happened in this family...to the best of my knowledge, and then all of a sudden, you're faced with the realization. thinking this could NEVER happen to you just went right out the window. And you're left to deal with something you never dreamed you'd have to, in your lifetime. Emotionally, this one is extrememly difficult, because there were some very hateful things said, which will have an effect on a husband, children, and grandchildren, for the rest of their lives. You wonder how in the world, a person could willing leave this world, with such hate, and demise on their lips, and their heart. It is so so sad.
Anyway, we will be returning sometime on Tues., but I am sure it will be later in the evening. How late, I don't know. We always tell ourselves that we're going to leave at a decent hour, so that we can be home before midnight...but, it seems we always put it off to the last minute, and under the circumstances of this visit, I have a feeling the same thing will happen. It may be 3a.m. wed. morning before we arrive home. But...I will drop in to the puter, as soon as possible, and let you know we made it back. Please keeps us all in your prayers. It's going to be a very difficult weekend ahead. Prayer for traveling safety as well. The roads can be so scarry.
Take care, and will talk to you as soon as we get back.
Much love,
Lev
