The hustle and bustle's over

I sure hope that everyone had a WONDERFUL Christmas!

We traveled to Lebanon, and was able to spend a wonderful time with my Mom and Dad. We all ate too much, as usual, and then, everyone just wanted to take a nap. lol We arrived home, not too late, I guess around 11. We try to stay as long as we can, but try to be reasonable, knowing that we have a 2 hr. dr. ahead of us, then especially with it being Christmas day, we didn't want to have to feel rushed, when traffic is sometimes bad. It wasn't awful coming home. There was some traffic, but it seem to go in spurts, and then clear out. The trip to Lebanon always seems a little quicker now, since Landon has moved to Ashland. From Columbia, Lebanon is right at a 2 hr. drive. But, since we ususally go to Landon's first, we don't really think about that being "part of the trip", and from Landon's house, it's more like 1 1/2 hr. So, the trip seems a bit shorter. We've traveled between Columbia and Ashland now, for almost 2 years, so by the time we get to Ashland, we feel like we're home.

We had a great time Christmas Eve...Sunday night. Landon, and the kids, were here, and we had some great food. I made a big pot of chili, and we had dips, hot and cold, and bbq'd littl'e smokies, and all kinds of chips. We ate too much that night too. lol Mary was so much fun to watch...her first Christmas. Moriah was the DEFINATE hit of the night, with her gift. Mary absolutely LOVED IT. You'll get to see it in the pictures I'm enclosing. It's what she's sitting on! Of course, Kenny and Gabriel were awful excited too. I had to laugh at Gabriel...and a bit at myself I guess. As I was wrapping on of Gabriel's presents,
a pair of overalls, I happen to notice a clean sock of his laying on the end of the couch...so...I picked it up...thinking to myself, I'll just wrap it up in this box, then they won't go off and forget it...or i won't forget it. So...I wrapped 1 sock, up the gift for Gabriel. I couldn't remember what package it was in, but as we're watching Gabriel, tear open this box...and we're all asking him..."what did you get...what did you get?"....and he looks up with this strange face and says.... questioningly... "a sock?" LOL Naturally, I started to laugh, and everyone else is looking at me wondering what in the world is going on...so....I have to tell the story. Gabriel, was REALLY stumped by that one!

And another story that I have to tell...lol Christmas Eve, I gave Kenny and Gabriel to 'bell necklaces'....jingle bells with little Santa hats on them, that hung around their neck. Well, Gabriel put his on christmas morning, to wear to Lebanon. Kenny, left his at our house, so didn't have one. All the way to Lebanon, they played Christmas songs on the radio, and we'd all sing along. We kept trying to get Gabriel to shake his necklace to the songs....but he just wasn't wanting to cooperate. lol So, after several more miles, when "Jingle Bells" started to play on the radio, I was SOOOOOOOOO sure that Gabriel would just chime right in, then. We'll....I was wrong. I'd sing, and then tell Gabriel...."I don't hear no jingle bells"... and always it was silent in the back seat. lol Lee would look back (I was driving), and said that Gabriel was just sittin' there with this "dumb" look on his face. After it was evident that he WASN'T going to shake his jingle bell...all of a sudden, here comes Kenny....(7 to remind you, and NEVER wants to stop talking), who preceeds to say somthing to the following effect... "Well Gabe...I just wanna tell you, that you have NO CHRISTMAS SPIRIT! Everyone has the Christmas spirit but you! I've got it, Nannie's got it, Miny's got it, Papa's got it, Daddy and Mommy have it...Everybody in the Morgan family has the Christmas Spirt but you!" And this is just about how long this conversation went. He just went on and on and on. Like the energizer bunny. lol Lee and I were just dying laughing, when all of a sudden,... we heard this little faint tinkle of a jingle bell. I looked over and Lee and whispered..."listen". To which I then said... "I hear jingle bells"... the next words I heard out of Gabriel's mouth, had me laughing sooooooo hard, that Lee asked me if I was able to drive. Very calm cool and collected...while the rest of us were making a big deal about the jingle bells...and Gabriel really having the Christmas spirit...he looked up and Lee and said.... "now how long to I have to ring this?" We all just about died laughing. It was like he wanted us to know he'd ring that bell, if it meant he had the Christmas spirit...but, wanted to know how long he had to ring it, to accomplish that task. It was just too funny!

Well, I do believe it was just a few days ago, that I mentioned that I wished I could find a site similar to Flixster, who handles movies, and find one where I could share my music. Well... I couldn't believe...finally, I found one! I now have a place where I can put all my music, and anyone and everyone can come listen! Wow! I was a bit...excited! Just a bit! I have a whole lot of music I want to share, and so far had added about 16 albums. I have alot more music I want to add, but it's going to take a bit of time, before it's all in. Of course, that's just what I've got saved...not including what else I might find that I'd like. So...I'm back here again, to ask you all to drop by my page...join me as a friend, and hope you'll enjoy all the music I'm adding, so I can share it with you all. Just click on the link below.

Hope you enjoy the music!

JOIN LEV IN BOLT

I called in and played hookie from work yesterday. Well...I won't say hookie. It's not like I lied. Lee had yesterday off, and since he'd been working so much over the holiday, I really wanted to spend the day at home with him. Aaron wasn't suppose to get back till about 2 anyway, and that makes for such a late day. So, when we arrived home from Lebanon on Monday night, I called and left a message on his machine, telling his about lee having off, and said that I'd be in on Wed. morning, and that if he wanted me to come in early I could...to just call and let me know. We knew there was a possibility that we'd have alot of books over the weekend, and Christmas...or maybe it would be dead. We just weren't sure what we'd find. But, Aaron called me a little after 1, and said it would be closer to 2:30...and wanted to know if that was alright. He hadn't even gotten my message. So...I had to go over again, what I had told him in the voice mail. He didn't really act like he wanted to do that... but...agreed that he'd get home, and see how many orders we had, and that if there were less than 30, he'd do them himself. So...that if I didn't hear from him, he'd see me wed. morning. I never heard anything. So...I went in today, to find that nothing had been done, and we had to do all the orders that had come in for Fri., Sat. Sun. Mon. and Tues. He didn't do any of them that had come in over the weekend. I got a few of the packages ready by the time our postman came, but had to take the majority of them... 6 boxes, and 3 totes..plus the internationals, that I have to take inside, to the postoffice. I was still able to get out of the p.o. by 4, so that wasn't too bad. Now that Christmas is over though...and people back to the norm, you never know what sales might do.

Well, just wanted to touch base with you all now that Christmas is over. Again, I hope you all had a wonderful day...full of peace and love!

Much love,
Lev
