Droppin' in for a quick "HI"

Well, I haven't been in to say "HI" in a couple of days, so just thought I'd drop in on you all. Hope the last couple of days have been good ones for you.

We've had another very enlightening time here in Columbia, again. Two young teenages, both killed in tragic car accidents. One was a highschool sr...17, and another 18, who had just graduated. Both with what should have been their entire lives ahead of them. It is so hard to understand why.

I sure didn't get off work on Wed. as early as I thought I would. I'm not really sure why on earth I'd be done by 3, I sure don't know. After having 4 days off, I should have known better. We shipped 75 books that day. It was a pain. I didn't get done till 6. Plus the fact that we've set our clocks back off daylight savings time, it was dark when I got off. I HATE that! Thursday was alot better, and I was in and out in about 2 hours, same for today.

I never did get my camera to work, so I took it in to Best Buy...it was still under warrenty. They have to send it in, and it should be back in about 1 1/2 wk. And OH MAN!!!... it just dawned on me I didn't take the memory card out!!!!! Surely that will be something they check. I may have to call them first thing tomorrow, and see if it's been sent out yet. Maybe I can catch it. I sure hope so. I will be sooooooooooo upset if I loose those pictures!!!

We went out to Landon's for supper, and then Moriah stayed, since she works this weekend. I've got to spend tomorrow cleaning house, then Sunday, Lee has to put brake pads on the Caddy. We may do that out at Landon's where there is level ground. Our drive is on a hill, and also in front of the house. It isn't level enough to have a car up on jacks.

Well, guess that's about all that's been going on here, other than it is getting cooooooooooolllld!!!! Last night was down to 27, tonight is suppose to be 33. That's just toooooooo close to winter for me!
