Good Evening, Guys!
Good Evening, Guys!
I hope you've all had a great day! Mine was just pretty good, if I do say so myself. lol Work went pretty good. We got our day done fairly quickly, and I was outta there in about 2 1/2 hrs. I had some shopping to do, to dropped by the New Super Walmart, that just opened, a couple blocks from where I work. I needed some new phones, and a few other things I'd been looking for. I don't really remember what time I got home, but was really enjoying being able to relax, knowing I was home for the day. But...naturally, my bubble was burst when Moriah came home from school, and wanted to go to the mall to buy a jacket. One she'd been wanting. Of course, she didn't have the money for it right now...so it was up to "MOM"...naturally, to say whether or not she was gonna front her the money till payday...lol Of course, she used the excuse that it was cold in the morning, when she went to school, but yet, she wouldn't wear her winter coat. ????? Her thinking, that by the time she came home, it wasn't cold enough for a coat. Am I wrong....or do I remember having to carry my coat home from school, when I was younger???? hehehehe She has to walk 1/2 block from the bus stop to our house. WOW!!! So...I ask her how much this jacket cost, and she tells me $29.?? So...I agree to get back out, (naturally, the mall is clear on the opposite side of town...where I had just come from) and go to the mall...which I almost detest having to go there. Once we arrived, I realize I don't even have $30 on me....so she heads for the store where her jacket is, and I head to my bank...which there is one in the mall, then meet her back at the store. Upon arriving, she's looking around...seeming to stay away from the jackets all together. So, finally I asked her where this jacket was that she could live without. Then I asked again, how much it was...there wasn't much too it, more like a longsleeve teeshirt with a hood that zipped. It wasn't that heavy a jacket. I had no sooner gotten the question out, that Moriah does the stare to the ceiling, rocking back and forth routine, with the "uh o" looking on her face........$45!!!! From $30 to $45...a bit of a diff...then when I looked at the tag again...it was actually $47!!!!!!!!!!! I tried...told her how crazy I thought this was...for no more than she was getting, but, you know how it is when it comes to these teens...and especially girls and their clothing! lol She understands that her paycheck will automatically be $50 short...hehehehe
We had a great talk with Kirk and Tara-Lee after Lee got home. They're doing great. Kirk's been doing some yard work/landscaping in their back yard. They've been there now for over a year, and Kirk still hasn't been able to work, waiting for him temp. citizenship, and work permits to come in. Hopefully, those are due in within the next couple of weeks, and he'll be able to go out, get a job, and start working. He's been bored to death, not being able to work. He's been playing housemum with Eva since they've been there. I do believe I told you all, when we found out, that Tara-Lee is expecting another baby in the spring...late Feb. or beginning of March, is what they've told her. I guess maybe they don't give specific dates down there...not sure.
I have been soooooo far behind with sending you guys picts. Well...guess this email will be full. I suppose I'll just dump them all on you at once. lol There's new pictures of Eva, Mary, Moriah(homecoming dance), Labor Day at Stockton Lake, and pictures of our new home. Hope you all enjoy them....oh, and my mum(the flower that is...not mother)lol I don't think I left anybody/thing out.
Well...guess that about fills ya in on my day. Kinda the norm for me. It's back to work tomorrow. I've had some pretty short weeks here lately. Tues., Wed., Thurs...Aaron's been out of town on Friday for the last several weeks. Then, lots of times it later on Monday before he is back. Yesterday, he didn't get back into town till about 5:30, so I didn't go in at all. We were waiting for Landon and the kids to get here, and I was in the middle of fixing supper. It wouldn't surprise me if he'll be gone again this Friday too...(he's met a girl...). We're leaving Friday and headed for Indiana. We won't be coming home till Monday. It will be late, I'm sure, as usual. Hopefully, this will be our last trip, as far as moving goes. We are at least to where we can see daylight. Not long after we left, Lee's mom was put in the hospital with pnumonia, and was there for almost 2 weeks. She's had a couple of weeks to recoop now, so we should be able to get everything done that is left. Next time we go, maybe it can just be for a leisurely visit. That would be nice!
As always, it's great talking to ya, and hope you have a wonderful eveing, and a great tomorrow!
Much love,
Lev
