New Pictures

Just wanted to drop in and show you my latest surprise. Tara-Lee buzzed me while I was online tonight...she's headed for work in a bit, and wanted to wish me a Happy New Year, and to send me the latest pictures of my beautiful grandaughter, Eva. So...I couldn't let this year go by, without showing you all her pretty little face, just one more time. I'm sure you'll see plenty more in 2006!

Happy New Year...

Much love,
Lev

Baby Watch Update

Well, the latest on the baby watch...no baby. Amanda was dehydrated, and they think that's probably why she was having these contractions...it was affecting the baby. So, they've ordered her to start drinking lots of water. She is also fighting a bladder infection, and this is playing a part also. So, the water will help here as well with that. They sent her on home, and told her to get some rest. So...instead of them coming back here, Lee just took them on home.

Lee is watching Alexander...(we watched it just a couple of nights ago, at Landon's). Well, actually, I think he "was" watching Alexander...I think I heard some snoring..hehehehe. Maybe we're going in and our of dreamland. lol And here I am, spending time in my favorite place..the internet. It is rather quite, I'll have to admit. By now, some are finishing up on the final touches of getting ready for the evening...they're big nights out on the town, or to friends, or families. Depending on the time where you are...there are some that are already at the party, and having a ball! Whatever you are all doing tonight...I hope that it is a safe and memorable evening, full of fun and love, with family and friends!

Moriah was all excited for the boys to be here, and since they're not coming now, she was "bored" here at our house...lol...so, once again, she's gone on up to Amanda's and is going to spend the night there. I guess they have a house full of relatives, and Amanda wants Moriah to bring the New Year in with her. As best friends...I think that will be great for them! There's something very very special about spending New year's Eve with your best friend. So...with Moriah gone, and Landon and his family not coming over, here I am, alone with my best friend...(Lee of course), and we will be spending our New Year's Eve, and bringing in the New year, the way we enjoy it...being at home...and together. It's always great being with family and friends, when that clock hits 12...but it will be very special tonight, as well, spent with the one who means more to me than life itself...Lee.

Well, with not many online tonight, guess this might be a good time to work on some more music pages...ya think? There have been so many that I want to share, that it seems like it would take forever to get it done. I guess percentage wise...I'm over 1/2 done...maybe close to 75% done. I still have several more artist that I want to share. One day, though, I will get them completed, and then I'm sure, even after that, I will find another one that I feel just HAS to be added. So, there will always be something new added, I'm sure...here and there from time to time.

So...guess I'll head out. And for most of you reading this...guess there is only one thing that I can say....
Count Down
Ball Drop
Happy New Year

"SEE YA NEXT YEAR!"

Much love,
Lev

Baby time?

Well, who knows... but I just got a call from Landon...remember, they were at Tom and Kristine's getting ready to celebrate their Christmas...well, it seems that Mary has other things in mind...possibly. Amanda is in the hospital...they have checked her, and she is dialated to 1centimeter...which of course, isn't much. They aren't going to attempt though, to stop her labor...just let nature take it's course. Her due date was Jan 28...give or take, of course, you never know, like I said, when it comes to babies...they come at their own time. So, they're going to watch her for a bit, and if she doesn't progress in the next bit...who knows..an hour...two...not sure how long they want to watch her...then they'll send her home...if not...guess we may be having a baby...sometime...within the next who-knows-how-many-hours...hehehe. So..that's all I know right now. Naturally...I don't have the car, so can go no where. I just talked to Lee, and the store is closed. he will be leaving in the next little bit, and is going to go right to the hospital...which is only 5 mins. from where he is, and check in with Landon, and see what the latest is. From there...I guess he'll either be bringing Landon, Amanda, and the boys back to our house, or coming to pick me up to head to the hospital. We won't know anything for awhile. I'll be sure and let you know though, when I hear anything else.

Love,
Lev

HAPPY NEW YEAR'S EVE

Goodmorning everyone...on this New Year's Eve! Or, for most of the people that will read this, it is still New Year's Eve. Of course, it is already 2006 in Australia, and Kirk, and Tara-Lee and her family, have already welcomed in 2006, in the land down under. It is about 2:30 am there...New Year's Day....who knows, they may STILL be up welcoming in the New Year! lol So...for any of you reading this, that have already welcomed 2006...a WONDERFUL, AND BLESSED New Year, to you and yours!

Well, as I mentioned the other day, I was to have yesterday off, and work today, but ended up switching, which I am now VERY glad that I did! Boy....I'm really happy I don't have to go into work today! Landon and Amanda will be over later this afternoon....late afternoon, probably...5-6, and I sent Lee off to work with the car...so I CAN'T, go anywhere, or do anything! lol So, for right now, I'm enjoying my morning....coffee cup in hand, and spending my New Year's Eve with so many of you here, ....my home away from home....So many of you are like family, on this vast interent...and although apart....still able to share this New Year with all of you, due to this wonderful invention!

I still have quite a bit of food from last weekend...cheeses, relishes, chip....etc., so today, I'm going to make a pot of chili, and we will have our meal for the evening, when Landon, Amanda, and the boys get here later. Naturally, we will be up past midnight...toast in the New Year....and I'm sure, shed a few tears, which so often happens on New Year's Eve. As with Christmas...it won't quite be the same without Kirk, and Tara-Lee...and of course, Eva, being here...but like Christmas, they're in our hearts...as close as ever.

MISSOURI WON!!!!!!! YEAH TIGERS!

Well, since I had to work yesterday, I didn't get to watch the game. But boy, bet there was a HOT time in Shreveport, La last night! I heard even a few die hard Tiger fans, that come into the cleaners, mention how they hoped the Tiger's won't going to disappoint us....BOY...OH YE OF LITTLE FAITH! I'll have to admit ....it was a close score, but from the sounds of it...Tiger's being behind 21-0....I think we showed them that Missouri Tiger's can WHOOP BUTT!!!! Congrats. Tiger's!!!!

I know there was somethin' else I was gonna tell ya...but, for the life of me now, I can't seem to think what it was...lol. Guess it's that "sometimers disease", that my m-i-l talks about...."sometimes I r'member...sometimes, I don't!" lol Hopefully, I'll think of it later.

Landon, Amanda, and the boys, are probably leaving, just about now, to head for Amanda's parents house. Tom...her Dad, was suppose to pick them up around 10. They're having a combined, Christmas/New Year's celebration, with her family. We're not really sure what time they'll be done, but Kristine knew that several of them had plans for this evening, which is why she opted to have it around noon today. We're just sorta assuming that they will be done around 5 or so. That's nothing more than a guess. Our house is closer than Ashland, to Tom and Kristine, so Tom is going to drop them off at our house...since they were going to be coming here anyway. That will make the trip alot shorter for him. I'll take them home later tonight...sometime after midnight. Tomorrow, they'll be coming back over...tomorrow afternoon, probably. No one will be rushing to get up, I can assure you of that, and it will probably be a rather lazy morning, on our Jan 1. We usually watch the Rose Parada, from Pasadena, CA. It's one of those "tradition" things....like the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. Then, at some point...I'll go get them and bring them back to the house. Nothing special planned....just spending the first day of the New Year, with our children, and grandchildren. A FAMILY day!

Oh...now I remember! lol Wanted to let you know about more music! lol Gee....of all things to forget...as much as I've been doing with that the past couple of days. hahaha I added a new page...even added it to my "what's new" post, just incase some of you might see it...even though I didn't get the time to actually write and tell you about it. I've added the Righteous Brothers...a group I've always loved.

I've got a few questions concerning one member of that group...Bill Medley. I'm not sure if you'll remember from my previous post, but that was my Granny/ Grandfather's name...my mother's maiden name...Medley. At one point, several years back, I was made aware that my Grandfather had a brother...or Uncle...not sure, that left Missouri, and moved to California. I never met him....and he left for CA either before I was born, or when I was very young. So, naturally, one day...out of the blue, it dawned on me, how much Bill Medley's features remind me of the "medley" features, in my family....first and formost...the big noses! LOL Medley's are known for their noses...(glad I didn't get it...I got my Dad's Swedish nose). So...several years back, my curiosity got the best of me, and I tried to find what I could...geneology wise, about Bill Medley, and wheter or not, he could possibly be related to me. Unfortunately, I didn't have computer access at that time. About all I did find out then was that Bill was born in CA....I believe, if I recall right, sometime in the 40's...making him around 10 yrs. older, give or take a few years, than I am. So...this is about all I ever found out. But, maybe, at one point, I'll be able to find some new information. I guess...for right now, I'm just happy to say that I "might" be related to Bill Medley of the Righteous Brothers. lol. I suppose if that is the case, he would probably be something like a 3rd/4th cousin. Don't forget to check out the other new additions...James Taylor...Willie Nelson...Gladys Knight and the Pips.

Well, guess I've talked your legs off long enough. It's going on 11 here...guess I need to get up and get out of my night shirt...and some clothes on. lol Although...not sure why...I don't have anywhere to go.

I hope that you all have a wonderful New year's Eve...and a fabulous New Year to come!

Will catch up with you again before the day's over. HAVE A GOOD ONE!

Much love,
Lev

Droppin' In Before the Night is over...

Well, just thought I'd drop in again for a quick note.

The memorial service that we attended this evening went very well. Jonathan, the man that Lee works with(it was his fil) was "in charge" so to speak of the service. He read some wonderful remarks, and his feeling on Darrell..his fil, and there were remarks made by others in his honor. It was a beautiful little service. It surprised me alot, but Rob informed everyone that the store would be closing at 6 tonight, for anyone who wanted to attend the service. I am proud to say, that "all" the employees showed up, even one that had worked there previously. You could tell that it meant alot to Jonathan that we had all showed up.

On a cheerier note...I think I accomplished quite a bit on my music pages in the past couple of days. A quick update for those who didn't have a chance to catch my previous email. Last night, I finished pages on Gladys Knight and the Pips. This morning, I finished up on my pages for Willie Nelson. You can tell by the amount of pages that he is one of my FAVORITES! I also got James Taylor added. He is right up there at the very top when it comes to some of my favorite singers. He is such a talented man, and his songs tell stories, in a way like no other. lee and i were able to see him in concert several years back....4th row...center stage! It was a fabulous concert. I only hope one day I'm able to go see him again....as well as Willie. Even though Christmas is over, I went ahead and added a new Christmas song and made a few changes to my original "Mary Did You Know?" page..in the Christmas section. I'm sure in the next several days, I will also think of other Christmas songs that I'll want to add...even though the day has passed. But, it will be there for your enjoyment, and hopefully, still there next Christmas, with others added. The song I added is "Gabriel's Message", by Sting. If you've never heard it, you're in for a real treat!

I got my house picked up like I was wanting, even got as far as changing the sheets...washing bedspreads, mattress covers, etc. Making The Bed So, I always know how good it's going to feel when you're able to crawl into bed on clean sheets. It's a feeling like noooooo other!
The rest of the day I spent mostly on my music.

Well, I was suppose to have tomorrow off. We don't have really big plans for New Year's Eve...Sat. night, so I wasn't too bent outta shape about having to work Sat. But, today, mary called me, and as I figured, Jacob was wanting tomorrow off, and said he'd work Sat. for me, if I'd take tomorrow. I really didn't have anything planned for tomorrow, other than probably more music pages..hehehe, and since it was mary that called me, and not Jacob, I told her I'd go ahead and work tomorrow. So...it will be Sat. off instead...as well as monday...so I'm gonna get a 3 day weekend after all! Since I'm working tomorrow, I guess we'll have to plug our little TV in at work, so we can watch the Tiger's play the Independence bowl tomorrow afternoon!
TigersAnd...maybe it will make the afternoon go by faster. If we're lucky...maybe all the MU fans...which is 1/2 of Columbia..hehehehe decided to go to Shrievport to see the game first hand....then we shouldn't be too busy. (well, it was wishful thinking, at least...lol) Who knows. The cleaning business has been very strange lately....swamped one day, and dead to the world the next, so you never know what to expect.

We've already made plans with landon and Amanda and the boys for New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day, as well. So, I doubt that we make any plans with them for tomorrow night...since Lee and I are both working. The will be getting together at Amanda's mom and dad's house on noon New Year's Eve, for a Christmas/New Year's get-to-gether, with Amanda's family. They are suppose to be done by late afternoon, and then Tom, Amanda's dad, will just drop them off at our house. That's closer for him anyway, rather than having to take them all the way back to Ashland...and then of course, I'd have to go pick them up. They're coming over New Year's Day as well...I'm not really sure what time, but I'll pick them up then. I'm sure we'll watch parades, and football games...or maybe movies...but, we'll enjoy our first day of 2006, together with family.

Well, guess I take off. It's getting late, and I think I might go hit the tub before heading to bed. I'll be back tomorrow morning before work, with coffee in hand,I Love You Mug 2 I'm sure, catching up on all that has been happening, since I was here last. Hope you had a great day, and a wonderful evening. Catch ya' tomorrow!

Much love,
Lev

Thursday's here

Goodmorning, and how is everyone doing on this Thursday?
It isn't quite as cold here in Missouri today, as it was yesterday, but it's still quite cloudy, and hazy, and just all around a very wintery looking day. We're suppose to hit about 47 today, so I guess anytime you're that close to the "50" mark, just a couple of days before the new year, you sure can't complain. By New Year's Day, they're talking close to 60 here in Columbia.
I have today and tomorrow off, so guess I'm going to try and get this house somewhat in order before New Year's Eve and day. It has been a bit on the topsy turvy side ever since Christmas Eve.We don't have any major party plans to bring in the New Year. I guess we've gotten a little slack in our old age....we've about got where we don't enjoy the "party" scene much anymore. Mainly, I just know that I don't enjoy waking up the next morning with my head feeling like someone's trying to split it with an ax! LOL. So...we don't do much of the going out anymore, at all. For the past several years, New Year's Eve, and Day, have been spent with out kids, at the house, just enjoying what ever it is we like to do....together, and bringing the New Year in among the family that we love so dearly. It is somewhat customary too, to get into a big Monopoly game, ....sometime before the evening is finished. But, like Michael, we will bring in the New Year with "hopefully", some good food, and most importantly, those we love.
Well, I've always like football...ever since I was in high school, although I've never been what you'd call a die hard fan. It sure wasn't on every Monday in our house. lol But, on special occasions...like the Super Bowl, or the Bowl games of the New Year, I surely enjoy sitting down and watching a good ole bout of American football. This year, will be a little on the special side, for those of us in Columbia, as our own Mizzou Tigers will be traveling to Shreveport, LA to play against South Carolina in the Independence Bowl. Needless to say, we're very proud of our Tiger's, and wish them well in the game, that will air on Friday afternoon....I've included the link, http://www.independencebowl.org/#
GO MIZZOU!!!! Tigers

I AM, going to do my best to get my music page on Willie Nelson added today, and maybe even another one...I still have plenty that I want to share with you. Question is, when I'll get started on them...???...I'm not really sure. I'll probably make myself get some of my housework done, before I take the time to start another music page. They're not hard to make, at all, but they can be rather time consuming, spending time hunting certain songs, pictures, etc,...taking the time to upload, and all that jazz, but, I'm definately going to get it added sometime before the day's over, "if the good Lord's willin' and the creek don't rise"..(that will be a good one for our English learning friends...lol)

Lee and I are going to be attending a memorial service, for a family member of a guy that Lee works with. Jonathan's father in law...his wife Michelle's father, passed away the day before Christmas Eve. There is going to be a memorial service tonight, and Lee and I really felt that SOMEONE from Tucker's should make an appearance. Of course, you might say, this should be a given...but....you don't know Lee's boss....and he doesn't bother to think about this kinda stuff. How horrible would Jonathan feel, if absolutely NO ONE that he works with could bother to show up. SO...Lee is going to make it VERY clear today, that he will be leaving early, as I'm going to pick him up, and we're going to attend the service, so that there is at least someone there from work. Not to mention that Jonathan and Michelle have done alot for Lee and I, in the past couple of years. Jonathan charge a rental car to his credit car, so that Lee and I could make it to Indiana last year, when Lee's dad died. Had it not been for him, I'm not sure what we would have done, because our car would have never made it there and back. So, Jonathan and Michelle have been wonderful friends to us, and Lee and I both feel it is our place to be there for them now, in this time of grief. Unfortunately, we have all been there at one time or another, and sorrow can sometimes be about more than we can handle...but, somehow, when those we love are around, we know we're not alone, and it makes it somewhat easier.

Even though I have to clean house, it's really going to be nice being able to stay at home today, without "having" to go anywhere. I won't pick Lee up until about 6:15 this evening. After the past few crazy days of finishing shopping, and all that went along with Christmas, today I can relax and glllllllllllllide, a little..lol..I hope. At least I have the whole day to do what I need to do, and can do it whenever I want. lol I'm my own boss today...hehehehe, and guess what???...if I don't do my work, I won't even get fired! ROTFL

Well, I guess I'll head outta here...try and get some of my work done, so that I can come back and enjoy making somemore music pages. I'll be sure and let you know when I get them finished, so you can go check out the latest tunes. I hope you've been enjoying Gladys Knight and the Pips! Will talk to you all soon.

Have a great day!
Much love,
Lev

Midnight Hello

Well, it's almost midnight...Thursday, so thought I'd drop a quick line before heading to bed, to let you know that I got a new music page added to my blog. One of my favorites...Gladys Knight and the Pips. I hope you enjoy the songs that I've included. I've got tomorrow off, so I am hopefully going to try and add one of my all time favorites, when it comes to country that is, and that's Willie Nelson. I've seen Willie in concert 3 times, and will jump at the chance to again, if I ever get it. Anyway, just want you to know about Gladys...and hopefully, Willie coming up soon. I appologize that I haven't gotten any new ones added in a while, but you know how crazy it gets around the holidays. Once we get over the new year...maybe things will calm down a bit.

I'll be sure and touch base with ya'll tomorrow. Hope you had a great day, a wonderful evening, and a beautiful tomorrow!!!

Much love,
Lev

Yeah for hump day!

How's everyone doing on this "hump day"? Hope you're all doing great!

Just thought I'd drop in for a quick "Hi", before heading off to work in a bit. There hasn't been much going on here since I've talked to you last, anyway.

I got Amanda taken to her Drs. appt. yesterday. When we got back to her house, I ran Landon up to his work to check on the schedule, and then he came with me back into town. We ran by his bank, then out to pay his rent, then headed to my house to get Moriah, and her friend Amanda, and head to Wal-Mart, to exchange her CD, and then to the mall so she could spend some of her Christmas money. Wal Mart was NUTS!!!!!! ....which is exactly what I expected it to be. Everybody and their brother was there! lol Moriah got her cd exchanged, and found a couple of other things. We headed to the mall then, where things were just about as insane as they were at Wally World. I guess we got out of there just a little after six, as it was about 6:20 or so, when we got back home, and it only takes about 15 mins. from the mall to our house. We hung out here for a bit, before leaving to go pick up Lee from work at 7. I hunted up some stuff for supper that I had here, and after we got Lee, headed out to Landon's for supper. We watched Alexander...which was a FABULOUS movie! It is also very long, and it didn't get over till after midnight. We really hadn't planned on being there that long. Moriah and Amanda had made plans for Amanda to come over and spend the night, but it was so late when the movie was over, that we weren't sure if she still wanted to come over or not...but...she was waiting when Moriah called, so before we came home, we stopped at amanda's and picked her up. She just lives the next street over from us. So...by the time we got back home, it was going on 1:00, and then by the time you try to unwind a bit...it was close to 2:00 before we got to bed. I don't have a thing planned for tonight!....except to come home!

Well, got to head off to work in a bit, so I guess I'll head outta here. I've got tomorrow and Fri. off, and then work on Sat....or at least I think that's what it is...since I had last Sat. off. Of course, I better check to make sure, when I get to work.

I hope you all have a great day. It's hump day, so the weekend is alllllllll down hill from here, and we'll soon be greeting the new year. Have a wonderful day!

Much love,
Lev

His eye is on the sparrow. And I know He watches me.

Goodmorning

Goodmorning, everyone.I trust that you all had a wonderful and memorable Christmas day. I hope you were all blessed beyond your wildest dreams.I suppose, all in all, I had a good Christmas....???....It was wonderful getting to spend the day with my Mom and Dad. But, we did have a few things going on that added some emotional stress...alot of emotional stress, and I'll have to admit that it did put a big damper on our Christmas. With all that was going on, I have said the past couple of days, that this was the worst Christmas I've ever had. It included alot of heartache and pain, that I wish had not enterned into this joyous time of year. But, it is behind us now, and hopefully, the air is clear. It just made for the holiday not being what we always anticipate it to be...full of joy. Instead, this Christmas included alot of tears.I've received some new pictures of Eva....Oh MY...she gets more beautiful everytime I see her. God has so richly blessed Kirk and Tara-Lee with such a beatiful baby girl. Naturally, I will include the pictures for you to see. There's not much going on here today. I ran Lee to work, then went out to Landon's to pick up Amanda...she had a drs. appt. They're doing a glucose tollerance test on her...she's had some elevated blood sugar levels in her urine, so they're wanting to check to make sure she's not getting that diabetes thing that pregant women sometimes get. I'm drawing a blank right now....can't remember what it's called. She will be there for 3 hours, so I'll go back to pick her up around 12.Moriah got some money for Christmas, so naturally, she is wanting to head to the bank to cash her check, and then go spend this money before it burns a hole in her pocket. lol. I guess all kids are like that...I guess alot of us adults are like that. lol Lee and I got money for Christmas, so I think we're going to use that to get us a digital camera. With all our grandchildren, and now another one due in the next month...I'll be taking lots of pictures, I'm sure, and Lee also wants it so that he can begin to take pictures, and keep a photo record of all the jewelry that he's made. So, hopefully, before too much longer, I'll be able to show you some pictures of his jewelry, so you can see what a talented jeweler I'm married to. He does such beatuiful work! Well, I've had the last 4 days in a row off....that has been GREAT! I'm certainly not ready to have to head back to the cleaners tomorrow...but...that's where I'll be headed. Back to the grind and reality of life.I don't know how many of you have possibly seen the movie "Cacoon"...but it was on the other day. I always cry when I watch that movie. There is a part of me that wished someone would come, and take me and all those I love, away to a place where there is no sickness...no pain....no death. Guess I'm just going to have to wait till I get to Heaven! There is certainly no place on this earth like that. Unfortunately.Well, guess I've yacked at ya'll long enough. I'm sure I'll be back later to check in and see what you've all been up to over your Chrismtas holiday. I do hope that you were all blessed this joyous season.Much love,LevHis eye is on the sparrow. And I know He watches me.

Merry Christmas

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Christmas Greetings to everyone!

I will admit, that with the coming of email, I have gotten quite lazy when it comes to sending Christmas cards at this time of year. I have opted to send Christmas emails instead.

But, regardless of how the greeting is sent, Lee, Moriah and I want to take this time to wish you all a very Merry Christmas.

This has always been a very special time of year for us, and our family, and although it will not be quite the same this year, as it has in previous years, now that Granny is not with us, and this being the first year we have spent Christmas without Kirk, and of course, now, it is also a Christmas spent without our daughter-in-law, Tara-Lee, and our beautiful grandaughter, Eva, but their love is with us, as I hope they know our love is with them during this special time of year, and it is the love, that makes this time of year so special. So regardless of the miles between us, they will be in our hearts this Christmas, and the many to follow.

For all of you, family and friends, we hope that you have a blessed Christmas season, and a wonderful and prosperous New Year, and may you always keep the Spirit of Christmas in your hearts, the year round.

Remember too, always, that

JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON

Our Christmas wishes and love

O Christmas Tree

O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree,
your brances are uplifted.
You seem to say that on this day
our world's supremely gifted.

The shinning of your candles bright,
reminds us Light has come tonight.
O Chrristmas tree, O Christmas tree,
you lift our eyes to heaven.

O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree,
you shine like stars above us;
And with your beauty silent say,
"How greatly God must love us!"

You show us Him who with God's face,
brought to our hearts the gift of grace.
O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree,
you lift our eyes to heaven.

O Christmas Tree, O Christmas tree,
in plainness you were growing
Util we came and brought you here
and set your branches glowing.

Your living beauty helps us see
how clothed with Christ our lives can be.
O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree,
you lift our eyes to heaven.

Go Tell it on the Mountain

Go Tell It On The Mountain
That Jesus Christ is Born

It's almost here.......

Well, it's getting even closer now. Just a few more hours to go, and Christmas will be here.

I finally got my shopping done last night, Landon and I went together, he did his grocery shopping and I finished up my Christmas shopping and then got some groceries too for tomorrow night, and the rest of the weekend. We were planning on doing some supper together, but everyone got finished so late, and Lee was going to be getting off later, so we just decided not to last night. I took Landon on home, unloaded all his groceries, and then came on back to the house. Moriah decided to spend the night at Landon's.

I was so aggrivated thismorning, when I got ready to finish wrapping Chrstimas presents, and realized that I'd pick up the wrong size PJ's for my Dad, on top of the fact that I'd picked up the wrong CD for Moriah's friend Amanda, so back to Wal Mart again...before I went to work, to try and get those exchanged. I got the pajamas exchanged, but they didn't have the CD that I needed, so that meant I had to make another stop tonight, after having to go out to Ashland and pick up Moriah when I got off, so now, I guess I can "officially" say that I AM DONE with my Christmas shopping. I guess I have 3 more presents to wrap...and I'm just going to do them tomorrow.

I didn't think I was going to have to get out tomorrow, and was going to spend the day cleaning house, and preparing food for everyone for tomorrow night. landon, Amanda, Kenny, and Gabriel, will be coming to our house tomorrow night, to spend Christmas Eve with us. We will exchange our gifts with them tomorrow night. We're going to spend sometime also, hopefully, with Kirk, Tara-Lee and Eva, on the webcam. Our Christmas Eve here, will be Christmas morning there for them, so hopefully that will work out good. It's going to be rather sad with them not here this year....the first time in 28 yrs. that I haven't spent Christmas with my son. It' just not going to be the same, and he is sure going to be missed.
When i went to pick Moriah up tonight, Amanda wanted to know if I could take her in to the bank tomorrow...I hesitated, and told her that I hadn't really planned on getting out...that I was going to give Lee the car, and spend the day at home cleaning...but....she sure didn't offer any, "well, that's okay...we'll do it another day"....so...I have to take Lee to work now, then go to Ashland, back into Columbia, then back to Ashland again to take her home...then will have to go back out again around 4:30 to pick them up to come over here. I was just REALLY hoping that the banks were going to be closed tomorrow, since it was Christmas Eve...and a Sat. to boot, and they're not normally open all day anyway...close at noon...so I was just wanting them to be closed all together so that I would have to go out and get her. But...looks like I'm going to have to. I did need to make a stop at the grocery store today...a couple of things that I forgot, but it was almost 9 by the time we got out of Wal Mart, and then I sure didn't feel like making another stop at the store...so I guess I'm just not going to have any other choice but to have to get out tomorrow. I know by the time I get all this running done tomorrow morning, I'll bet a nickle it will be close to noon before I even get home...then I'm still going to have an entire house to clean, and prepare our food for tomorrow night, plus some that has to be done for Sunday. So...something tells me that tomorrow is going to be the day from hades....I just can feel it already!!!! How I'll ever get that much done in that short a time...I have no idea!

Well, now that I've just dropped in and spent most of my time complainin'...lol Guess I just need someone to spout off too..lol Aren't you guys soooooo lucky? hehehehe

I do hope that you have all had a wonderful day, and hope that tomorrow brings a beautiful Christmas Eve for you all, wherever you will be.

Regardless of how busy I am, you can bet on one thing...I WILL be back tomorrow...regardless of the day...to say Hi to you all again!

Have a wonderful day!

Much love,
Lev

Counting down!!!

4 days, and counting! We're half-way there.
As I assumed, I didn't get all of my shopping done yesterday, but I've at least eliminated some from my list. All I have left to do is one gift for my Dad, and then some smaller stuff for Moriah...3-4 more things...and a couple of pair of jeans for Lee,...then I will be finished! .... I think....until I happen to run onto something else that I think someone just can't live without! HA! I have a way of doin' that at times. Oh well....

Back to work today. Hope the day goes quickly. It has been so horribly busy the past week at work. It's like everyone's coming out of the woodwork. We weren't really expecting to be that busy...thinking that lots of folks would be either out of town, or preparing for Christmas...instead, everyone is wanting their stuff cleaned BEFORE Christmas. We had tons of clothes Mon....so who knows what they took in yesterday, and what we'll be stuck with today. So, tomorrow I have off. I'm dropping Lee off at work a little before 9, then have to go pick up Amanda and take her to a drs. appt. Landon and I are going to go to the store, and start getting some of the things that we're going to need food wise, for Christmas. I think we're just doing snackie food here, on Christmas Eve...chips, dips, summer sausage, cheese, veggies...that type of stuff. Moriah wants "hanky panky", so I promised her that I'd make that.
HANKY PANKY(CAT FOOD)
INGREDIENTS:3 lbs ground beef2 lbs Jimmy Dean's sage sausage1 box (3lbs) velveeta cheesecrackers or thin sliced petite deli bread

I like to add 1 can of "Rotel:tomatoes and green chilis" to mineDIRECTIONS:In seperate skillets, or one at a time, on stove top (no microwaves please), brown ground beef and sausage. Drain. Combine meats into a crockpot on medium setting. Cut cheese into small squares and add to meat mixture. About 1/4 of the cheese at a time. Stir till melted. Cook on low heat for approximately 1 hour. Mixture will thicken. Keep warm in crockpot for serving. Serve on petite deli breads or crackers.

With my Dad's health not being too good right now, my Mom spends most of her time with him, and won't be able to prepare much when we come down on Christmas Day to visit, so I'm going to try and prepare as much of that here and bring with us, so she won't have to try and do too much. Once I get Lee's check, around 5, I have to go pay the rest of my internet/cable...they came close to cuttin' me off yesterday!!! YIPES!!! That would NOT be good. Then, I'll probably try and finish up on my Christmas shopping...since Lee will be working late anyway, and maybe I can be finished in time to pick him up around 8 or a little after. We may make some kind of supper plans with Landon, I guess we'll just have to see how things go time wise, and what we're going to have time to do.

I work Fri, and will have to spend most of Sat. preparing for Sat. night, when everyone will be over here for Christmas Eve, so, I think I'll be putting Moriah in charge of the housecleaning, over the next couple of days, so that when Sat. gets here, I'll be able to spend most of my day preparing food, and not have to be cleaning. There always seems to be so much to try and get done, but there is also an excitement in the hustle and bustle of getting everything prepared for the moment that we're looking forward to...our evening of sharing with family. It is a wonderfully exciting time of year...and I LOVE it!

Well, guess I'll head outta here...probably putz around on the puter a bit, before having to leave for work. I'll be back tonight, I'm sure, so will be sure to drop in and see what you've all been up to throughout the day.

Have a good one!!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS

Much love,
lev
