How's it goin'?

So...how has everyone's day gone? I hope you've all had a great one. For my "special friends", it's great to see that we had some birthday's to celebrate! HAPPY B.D. K, AND KARI!!! I hope you both had extra special days.

Today was crazy, and relaxing, all in one. Lee had 1/2 the off today. He had an appointment at the eye dr. this morning. He was then able to come home for a few hours before having to go back to work. They dialated his eyes, so he couldn't see worth a poop! lol Working on jewelry just wouldn't have cut it at that point. He had to wait for his eyes to refocus. So, most of the morning was spent relaxing, and talking with Tara-Lee, and playing with Eva. I ran Lee back to work at 1:00, then back home for a few hours, before I had to have moriah at the school for registration. She starts next wed. We got done at the school, and had an hour before having to go pick up Lee at 7:00, so I ran by the $ store, to pick up a few things I needed, then a quick stop at the hardware store, and a swing by the grocery store, to pick up a few things for supper, and then we arrived at Lee's work, just about 10 mins. before he was due to get off. So, we didn't have to wait for long.

Got a call from my best friend, Cheri. They are coming this weekend to visit for a bit. They want to see Kirk again before he leaves on the 7th, for Australia. I know it will be tough on Cheri....she use to change his diaper, and now, here he is, a grown man, and getting ready to leave the country. They'll be arriving Sat. evening, and going back sometime Sunday afternoon.

Earlier today, I was able to finish up on one of the pages on my blog....Lee's miracle page... As I told you, it is a diary of the messages that I sent, via email, to my friends, family, and groups, while Lee was so sick in the hosptial. Well, my last entry, the day Lee came home, was made on Aug. 12th. So, today, I was able to put in my final post with a short summary of what you will be viewing when reading it. I may from time to time add new links that I may find useful, but for the most part, the page is finished. I hope that you'll take the time to visit and see the new additions that have been made, and read the about the daily happenings that were included on Lee's road back to recovery. Believe it or not, I have figured out how to add music to my blog page...the publish to the web thing! It's not going to be as difficult as I thought it was going to be. Now, it will just be finding the time to spend getting it set up, but hopefully, in the near future, I'll have a music blog page to share with all of you.

It's back to work tomorrow and Thurs. 7-1. Two more early days. Friday I'll have off, then back again on Saturday. At least I'll be off before Cheri and Richard arrive on Saturday evening.

Well, guess I'll head outta here...may even spend some time working on that music page...
