You have arrived in Lev's Notes. Hi, I'm Levonne, or Lev, as most call me online. I've tried to make this blog a mixture of things I can share, anything and everything that has to do with me. Whether it be expressed thoughts on something that is a part of me, or something that I love very deeply. You will see a variety here. Levonne:More About Me, is exactly what it say. Here you can read about my childhood, my faith, things that make up who I am, and where I came from. Bits and Pieces: Are special pages that are close to my heart. Things that mean alot to me, and are a very important part of my life. I live in the United States, in the midwestern state, Missouri. I have shared some wonderful links with you and tried to show you all that is a part of the beautiful "Show Me" state, that I live in. You will have access to my home pages, links to wonderful sites, from health, Christianity, to travel. I also share the links to web pages that I have designed, and also to the many wonderful groups of which I'm owner. Educational links to higher education here in Columbia, MO, where I live, and lastly, links to several ribbon campaigns that are close to my heart. I do hope that you enjoy the time you spend here, and I encourage you to return often, and visit those sites and links that you've not yet had a chance to. Hi on a Tuesday!

Well, I tried twice today to attemp to write and say Hi...but alas, my puter didn't want to cooperate. lol
So, how are you all doing this fine evening? Well, I hope!

I'm doing much better, now that I'm off work, and home. It was about 7:30 before Lee got off. They had to stay late to finish up a few things. On the way home, we stopped at KFC, and picked up a couple of chicken sandwiches to take home, a little bit of potato salad, and slaw. Sure beat having to cook or try and find something to fix when I got home.

I dropped Lee off at work yesterday, then headed home. The repair man for our duplex complex was here when I got home, to look over some of the repairs that need to me done. He will be coming back on Thursday to get started. We're going to be getting new storm doors, and the dryer out of our garage that doesn't work, which will give us a tad bit more room, in an already way over crowded space. The duplexs' dryer went out sometime ago, and we've been using ours. They're going to be fixing our outside faucet...finally, after 2 summers. It's gonna be pretty intailed though, I believe. It appears that they will probably have to cut a hole in the wall in Moriahs room, in order to access the pipe. It froze two winters ago. This the second summer that we haven't been able to even use our hose. They're also going to send someone out to fix the garage door opener, that hasn't worked either, since we moved here almost 4 yrs. ago. And they're going to repair the switch on my washer, that is held together with a clip, right now. So, hopefully, this new landlord is going to fix most of the things that the past 2 landlords couldn't bother doing. They'd better, for $600 a month...the new owners raised the rent $20. It was $580, and that was tough enough to try and make.

Kirk and Tara-Lee came over to do some laundry. I ran out to pick up my check, and go pay the car insurance, before it lapsed. When we got back, we all headed out to Landon's and did some swimming, then I had to come back into town to pick up Lee at 7. We went back to Landons, and had a great dinner, nothing fancy, just some burgers, and fresh garden tomatoes, and then was able to have a nice visit.

It is really going to be tough on Landon, when Kirk and Tara-Lee leave. Landon and Kirk and so close, and Landon's never been too far away from his brother. Neither has Moriah, and I know that neither one of them are looking forward to the time they leave. I know I'm sure not. Landon and I were talking about it the other day, and how hard it was going to be. I had mentioned how sad I was, that by the time they got back, my little Eva won't be so little anymore, and will have no idea who this strange lady is. Oh, I know that Kirk and Tara-Lee will tell her all about me, but I'll really be a total stranger to her. Not at all like Gabriel, and Kenny, who run to grab me, hollerin' "Nanny", "Nanny". Landon looked at me then, and said, ...."well, I've promised myself that I'll never be that far away for you, nor the boys". That sure made me feel good. Not everyone has been as fortunate as I have to always be such a short distance from my parents, and grandparents. A 4 hr. drive, was the farthest I've ever lived away from them. Certainly, not a 24 hr. flight to Australia. I do realize that children grow, get married, have kids of their own, and very often move away...and often very very far from Mom or Dad. Well, I'm going to have one child and grandchild very far away, so it is a little bit of a comfort to know that Landon will never take off that far. I know that no one knows what the future holds, but I honestly do not see Landon ever leaving Missouri. His dream is to be back at the Lake of the Ozarks, as it is with Lee and I. But, the day will soon be coming, when Kirk, Tara-Lee, and Eva leave. They have gotten their plane tickets, and will be leaving from St. Louis on Sept. 7. I know that the next month is going to go by entirely toooooo fast. Putting them on that plane is going to break my heart.... They have no idea how long they're going to be there, but probably at least 2-3 years.

Well, the link to the Lebanon newspaper is working again, so my dad picture is showing up in my blog, on his page, as it should be. Once I had access to the paper online, I noticed that they'd had some difficulties with the internet service in Lebanon...guess that's why it was messed up. Hope it's back now for good, and works properly.

Well, guess I'll jump off here. Just wanted to drop in and say Hi to all my buds! Hope you all had a great day.

TTYL
Much love,
Lev
