Monday Again!
I have been a absolute LAZY slob today. It is noon here, and I am still in my nightshirt! I didn't get up till almost 11 am, but then again, I didn't get to bed till about 2:30. So...needless to say, I haven't gotten much at all done this morning.
I have to go pick up my check, sometime after 1, and then go to the store. Landon, Amanda, and the boys are coming over for dinner tonight, so a trip to the store is a must...considering I haven't got much in this house to eat! Guess I'll do some fried chicken, and mashed potatos and gravy....Landon's favorite meal! Oh...can't forget the green beans and corn!
Have any of you seen the movie, "close encounters of the 3rd kind"...I think that's the name of it...about the aliens? We tease Landon, cause he is like Richard Dryfuss on the movie...putting a MOUND of mashed potatos on his plate, that are big enough to be a mesa! LOL He does love his mashed potatos!
We had a ball at the park/beach yesterday. The water was still a little cold, but much better than it was last weekend at Stockton. I still didn't get in and do any swimming...just standing around talking in water about waist high, and watching the kids swim and play. We got back to Landon' around 6 or so. We had a great evening hangin' around there...eating, watching movies. It was after 11 when we got home, and then naturally, I got on the puter, since I hadn't been on since noon. And, as it ususally goes, time got away from me, with Lee snoring in the chair, and before I knew it, 2:30 was here.
I feel a little on the BLAAAAAAAAAAAAH, side today. I'm not sure what the deal is. I don't know if it was because I was up so late, or because I haven't been up that long this morning. Either way, I hope that as the day goes on, I'll be feeling better than I am now!
It's back to the ole work grind tomorrow. I don't know why the weekend never seem to last long enough.
I don't think we've got anything planned, for the near future. We've been running for the past two weekends, here or there. I don't guess we have anything else planned for any type of get-a-way...at least not this week. Sometime this summer, we want to take Landon, and the boys camping. I'm not sure when we'll get to do that. We use to have a tent, but not anymore, so guess the camping trip will have to be centered around a payday, so that we will HOPEFULLY have a little extra money to buy some of the camping equipment that we'll need. Sometime around the end of July, Rachel is going to come up and spend a week with us. They have plans for the first of the month...around the 4th, and then Rachel is going to be going to camp, So, after she returns, she'll be spending a week with us, since Moriah was able to stay with her for a week.
Well, as much as I hate to, guess I better go get some clothes on, and get started doing some of the stuff that needs to be done. I'm sure I'll be back to check in with you all later on. Until then, hope that you all have a WONDERFUL day!
