A BEAUTIFUL MORNING TO YOU ALL!
Well, we finally got our much needed rain last night. Just about the time we were crawling into bed, it began to thunder, and the rains came down to help replenish our parched earth. We were needing rain so desperately, as it had been almost two weeks since we'd had any rain at all, and the flowers and grass were showing sure signs of that.
The nights' showers in return have made for a beautiful Sunday. The sun is shinning and there isn't a cloud in the sky.
We'll be leaving in about 2 hours to head to the lake to get Moriah. I have missed her soooo much! Guess you never really know how much you miss your kids, till they're gone from you for a few days. But, she always enjoys spending time with Rachel during the summers. This isn't the first time...she has been able to spend time with them during the summer months for the past few years.
We're gonna be going to Landon's for supper, when we return from the lake today. I believe we have hamburgers, potato salad, baked beans, and cantelope on the menu...and probably whatever else we happen to dig up! lol
As I mentioned to some of you already, I've finally gotten my blog up and running the way I like...at least I hope I have. I will naturally be adding things to it a little at a time, but I hope the basic page is finally set up the way it should be. I DO hope that you'll all take the time to go visit, and leave your comments. I LOVE having you all come and share in all that I've posted. Can't wait to see you there....
Well, I guess I'll head outta here for now. I just wanted to drop in and wish you all a BEAUTIFUL day.... hope it's as beautiful where you are, as it is here in Missouri.
