I wish I'd had a chance to get in a see you guys more today. It has been a k-raaaazy day. Most of my problems today stemmed from last night.
We had some bad thunderstorms last night, and I guess there had to be damage done to some of the cable lines. I had come right home after work to check on my plants, which were outside, and I was afraid had been beat to death, as we were hearing about torrential downpours, and hail in the area that we live. I am glad to say that my plants were fine...which was nice! I had checked my email real quick while I was hear, before going to pick up Lee from work, and then out to Landon's for supper. My interent was working fine then. We got back home around 10:30 or a little after, and when we arrived home, I didn't have any interent. I messed with it awhile, but it didn't seem to do any good, so I finally just turned it off and went to bed...so sure that it would be on when I woke up this morning. Well, needless to say, when I got up....I STILL had no interent. So I called my cable coumplany. I spent I don't know how long on the telephone with them, check modem, unplugging, plugging in, computer on, computer off....we could never get my internet to connect. They finally determined that there may be a problem with my modem, and said they would make an appointment for someone to come out and have a look. The SOONEST....next Wednesday!!! NO WAY, as I gonna be without my puter for that long.! So... I packed up my modem, and headed for my cable office. There she gave me a new modem to try, plus informing me that there was also trouble in our area, and they had crews working on the problem at that very minute. Well....chances are, there might not have been anything wrong with my modem at all...but here I am, and all is working the way it should.
After we got the internet fixed, Tara-Lee had to run off some copies of stuff she had received from her Dad. He had sent them to her email. Then we had to run them by the office where she needed to drop them off. Landon had gone with Kirk and Tara-Lee yesterday, to the funeral of the dad of a friend of theirs. After picking Lee up, we went to Kirk and Tara-Lee's, picked up Landon, and then went to his house for supper. Landon had accidently left his glasses at Kirk's house, so after dropping off the papers, we went back to there house to get Landon's glasses, then ran them out to his house.
We just found out today...that the mobil home park where they live, has a pool....we had no idea. Moriah was tempted to stay, so she could go swimming with Landon and Kenny, but decided to come on home with us, considering she didn't have a suit to wear. We hadn't been home long, when Amanda and Gabriel showed up, they had been in town doing some stuff. Moriah decided to go back with Amanda so she could go swimming, and decided later to just spend the night.
Kirk and Tara-Lee hung out at our house, and Kirk cooked us all supper, which was fabulous... steak, rosemary potatos, fresh green beans.... It was marvelous! After supper, we all sat down and watched "Meet the Faulkers". I have never laughed sooooo hard in my life! What a hilarious movie! I loooooooove Dustin Hoffman, and Barbra Streisand was a delight! It was a GREAT movie!
So, needless to say, after a day like that, now, at midnight, I'm finally able to get on the puter, and check in and see how you're all doing. Hopefully, tomorrow isn't going to be quite as hectic a day as today has been. I think tomorrow, I'm gonna go back out to Landon's, and take advantage of that pool!
It was beautiful here today...HOT...just like I like it! There's a chance for rain tomorrow, but hopefully, we won't get any, or at least till I'm done at the pool! lol
Well, I hope you have all had a GREAT DAY, and hopefully, a little less hectic than mine was. Hope you'll all stop by my blog, and pay me a visit when you get the chance. I hope to talk to ya all soon!
Much Love
Lev
