Checking in this Good Friday
How has everyone been the past few days? I hope you have all been doing good.
Thought I'd drop in and say Hi...it's been a couple of days. I haven't been doing too much the past couple of days...just working. I am glad that the weekend is here and I have a couple of days off.
I've spent my fair share of time in Ashland this week...lol And am going back tomorrow, and again on Sunday/Easter. Amanda works tomorrow night, so Landon and the kids are coming over here. They will be coming back again Sunday, to spend Easter, and the kids are definately ready for their Easter egg hunt. Of course, I think the adults enjoy watching, as much as the kids enjoy hunting. lol Lee and I just got done putting together the four Easter baskets that we need...Kenny, Gabriel, and Mary, and I can't forget Moriah. She got all over me last year, cause I didn't fix her an Easter basket...at 15! LOL I told her I figured she was over the Easter Bunny thing, by this age...hehehehehe. So...this year, I figured I better not forget her. So, she has her Easter basket, candy, and stuffed bunny, as well! Even at her age, she still LOVES her stuffed animals.
Moriah was a bit upset tonight when I got home...one of her best friends for the past7 yrs...Kristen, the one that use to live in Fayette when we lived there...that's where they met, she came by today after school to tell Moriah that her mother, Kim, had passed away on April 4. It was really hard on Kristen, she was the one to find her. Three weeks before her death, she had been diagnoised with melanomah(?)...3 weeks is all she lasted. Kristen and her mother shared an appartment, her dad still lives in Fayette. She unfortunately, didn't have our cell #, so was unable to get ahold of Moriah to let her know, and to know about the funeral. Moriah felt bad, because we would have definately gone to Fayette to attend. Just keep Kristen in your thoughts and prayers...loosing your mom at any age is hard, but at 17, this poor child has got to feel so very lost.
Well, I think I might go hit a hot tub. That sounds rather good. I'm looking forward to the next couple of days off, and the warm summer temperatures that we've been having.
I hope you all have a wonderful day, a great tomorrow, and a blessed Easter.
Much love,
Lev
