Good Afternoon!
Here it is, Jan 2, already...where does the time fly to? hehehehe
So, how have you all been doing? Good, I hope, and trust that you all had a wonderful New Years! New Year's eve was pretty quiet around our house. As I told you earlier, after Amanda had spent a few hrs. in the hosp, they went on home for the evening. Moriah ended up spending the night with a friend, so it was just Lee and I left to bring in the New Year. He spent most of the evening watching a movie...Alexander, and I was putzin' on my puter, but it wasn't long before I heard him snoring in the recliner. lol Well, the past few weeks have been total chaos for him at work, during the Christmas season, so he is loooooong overdue, and I just let him sleep, and I messed with music pages and such till almost midnight. Getting caught up in that, I glanced up at the clock...it was about 3 mins. till midnight...so I got up...changed to station on the TV, to that familiar scene of Time Square in NYC...then went over...woke Lee up, to tell him the New Year was almost here. We watched as the countdown began, and the ball started to drop. It wasn't but a few seconds later, my cell rang...it was Landon, so I answered the phone with a big "Happy New Year"! We talked for awhile...and he talked to Lee for awhile. I know there was a large part of him that wanted to be here to bring in the new year with us...I wanted him here too, especially since Kirk isn't here. But, with Amanda not feeling like coming, guess you can't blame him for going back to spend New Years eve with her and the boys. Amanda went right to bed when they got home...and Landon said that even he dozed, and almost didn't wake up in time for the New Year...so, like me..he ran in, and woke up Amanda, long enough to wish her a Happy New Year...called us, and then said he was going to bed!
We developed a nice leak in our waterbed...boy, is that ever fun! Ha! We discovered it wet on New Year's Eve...and didn't know if we were going to be able to sleep in it without waking up on wet, cold sheets. It was way down in the corner by our feet. But, with Moriah gone and spending the night at Amanda's, we decided we didn't want to risk that, so we just slept in her bed. We knew that something was going to have to be done, but we hadn't been able to find the leak, and with the bed full, couldn't pull the matress back far enough to find it...so, we knew we were going to have to drain some water out of the bed. Landon had our hose, so we made arrangements to pick him up yesterday afternoon, and the hose...came back to the house and preceeded to drain the water bed. The ONLY thing I don't like about waterbeds...they're such a pain.......!!!! Well, we finally found the leak...got it patched, and the bed refilled and made, ready to sleep in last night. We did get it a little fuller than we wanted, so sometime today, we're going to drain a little more water out of it. Regardless, it was wonderful to be back in MY waterbed last night, and not on Moriah's hard matress.
Other than letting more water out of the bed...we just don't have alot planned for today. Lee is watching TV...Moriah and Amanda are still in bed asleep at now 1:00 in the afternoon. Of course..I didn't go to bed till after 2, and then they were getting ready to mess on the puter. So...who knows what time they got to bed.
Well...got some more music pages added. Let see...who is new that I haven't told you about... I really can't remember...guess I told you about the Eagles...Bee Gees.. I guess the newest one is the one just completed... Emmylou Harris, and Trio. I loved putting these pages together....I could listen to these girls sing all day and all night! They're waaaaay up on the top of the list of my favorites. I hope you enjoy them. I've got 2 more artist that I want to share with you, and then I believe, at least for the time being, I can call my music page complete. I'm sure that I will add things occasionally, but it may be awhile before there are any big additions. So, once I get those added, I'm going to be re-doing my music page...adding new comments, new pictures, etc., as a final touch on the page. The one I have has just been a type of temporary one, until I got the page completed. I am looking for some music gifs...preferably animated, but they don't have to be...even music related pictures..jpeg, etc. So, if anyone has some neat ones that they wouldn't mind sharing with me, I'd appreciate it. You can send them to my email... levmorgan@yahoo.com . I would like a wide variety of pictures to choose from, when I redo my page. Naturally, when it is complete, I'll let you know. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy the new pages that I've been adding over the past few days.
I guess I'll head outta here for now. But, will probably be spending most of the afternoon on the puter...or until Moriah comes and steals it from me...hehehehe
