One week to go!

7 days... and the countdown is on!
I am as bad as a little kid, I will admit, when it comes to Christmas! When I was a kid, by this time, just one week before Christmas, I was so excited for Christmas to come, that I'd about pee my pants...lol Christmas was always so great at my house when I was a child! I always thought it was great too, that we opened some presents on Christmas Eve, so unlike some kids, who had to wait till Christmas morning, I didn't have to wait quite as long. Christmas Eve was when we got together with family, and the presents we got that night, were from family...those on Christmas morning, came from Santa! Naturally, being a kid, I was so excited to see what "I" was going to get.

Well, I'm an adult now....(lol, kinda..hehehehe), and I suppose that my attitude towards Christmas, and giving and receiving, is a little different than what it was when I was younger. I do remember though, even as a child, how excited I was and anxious for my Mom and Dad, or my Granny and Poppy, to open the present that "I" gave them. Even then, there was a part of me that loved giving. Now, being an adult, there is a part of us at Christmas time, and turns back into that little child, and it's always nice to receive gifts, especially from those we love. But, it excites me more, wanting the time to get here when those that I've gotten presents for, can finally open what I've given them. There truely is a wonderful feeling that comes over you, anytime you give...or give of yourself. I believe that's what the biggest part of the Christmas Spirit is...wanting to give to others. It is a very special time of year!

Well, what's been up since I talked to ya last? Work went okay on Sat...or as well as work can go, I guess. lol. The first couple of hours moved by rather quickly, but the last couple seemed to drag on forever, before we finally we able to get out of there just a little after 6. At least clothes weren't piled high, and we stuck there late trying to catch up. Lee worked late again Sat., so I came on home as soon as I got off at 5, and after a quick stop at the store. Josh brough Lee home after work, so I didn't have to get out again to go pick him up. We had a rather relaxing eveing at home, which was nice, after not getting home till 10 the night before. Unfortunately, Lee had to work again on Sunday. I dropped him off a little before 11, and then came on back home. Moriah, of course, was still in bed when I left to take Lee, and still in bed when I got home. We had nothing to do until we were going to head out to Landon's, since we'd made supper arrangements with them. Landon worked till 3...Moriah and I ran to $ General for a couple of things, then to the grocery store to pick up a couple of things for supper, then headed to Landon's....he got home and called on the cell just about the time we were headed into the grocery store. We got to his house about 30 mins. later. I started preparing some of supper ahead of time, so that there wouldn't be much left to do once we got lee and back out to Landon's. Lee was suppose to work till 5, but called me about 4:30, to say I could come get him. I had just a bit of time left on what I was doing for supper, and then Landon rode with me into town to pick him up....then headed back out to Landon's. We had stuffed green peppers, salad and garlic bread, and it was delicious! Watched the new fantastic 4 movie, which wasn't bad, and actually got home at a decent hour...lol...a little before 9.

Saturday, before going to work, I stopped by Wal Mart to pick up a couple more Christmas presents. Didn't have much money on me, and had to watch what I spent...(thank goodness today is payday for me), but was able to get a pair of pj's for Gabriel, and some slippers. Since today is payday, tomorrow will be spent finishing up on bying presents. I am pretty sure...I hope, that I can finish it all tomorrow, but something tells me that I'll probably end up with a few to get with Lee's check on Thurs. If I do have to wait till Thurs to finish, I'm sure it won't be more than 1-2 gifts left.

So back to work today...hope it goes smooth. I know that Saturday was nuts...tons of clothes...so goodness knows what I'll find when I get there today...it will be a crazy place, I'm sure. lol
