Power Engineering - South Australia's largest wind farm
Hey everyone...thought I'd drop a line, and these links if anyone would be interested in seeing them. This is where Kirk is now working...helping to erect these windmills used for electricity in S. Australia. He is really enjoying working there. I've seen picts. of these from sites out in Calif. where they use wind powered electricity. Kirk said that it takes something like 9 yrs. for these things to run, before they ever start producing the amt. of electricity needed. Looks like it would be a pretty facinating place to visit, and is mentioned in alot of travel tips as sightseeing for tourist. Maybe one of these days I'll make it there, to be able and see them. Thought you all might enjoy looking!
Take care
Lev
