Hello, Hello, Hello
So, how has everyone been doing the past few days? Well, I hope!
It's been a little fast-paced the past few days. It seems like everyday was either crazy at work, or I had to go somewhere and do something or pick someone up. Today, was the first day that I've gotten home at a decent hour...or at least around the time that I normally do.
We are going to be going back to Indiana again this weekend. Lee's mom is moving again, into a small apt. The arrangements that she had previously had fell though. Everything is packed and in a large 'pod'...or that's what they call it, and it is attached to a trailer, and pulled to wherever you're going. She is hiring someone to unload it, but Lee and I will be helping to unpack, and get the apt. set up, while we're there this weekend.
Several yrs ago, I began doing research on my family ancestry from Sweden. I'm not really sure what sparked the idea, but I was fortunate enough to be able and find out quite a bit of information about my father's family, and how they emmigrated from Sweden to the US, in the 1860's. I found it so so facinating. A couple of years after that...for some reason, and today, I couldn't really tell you why, I began to wonder if I could write a book. Now Bella is probably saying.... "why, sure Lev...the way you write, you could definately write a book"...lol Well, at the time, I really wasn't too sure if that was something I would be able to do. I think I felt that way mostly because I just wasn't sure if I'd be able to come up with any kind of a plot what so ever. An autobiography sure didn't sound appealing, as I figured I had a pretty boring life. lol So....I racked my brain, and tried to come up with an idea. I'll admit, I had been fanticising about Sweden, since I had started looking into my geneology, and constantly day dreaming about what it would be like to visit there...and would so often find myself day dreaming about what it must have been like...so many years ago, in my mother country. To live in that time. So...there was my book...but somehow, had to tie it all together. When I did finish it, I took it to a bindery in the town where we lived, and had books made as presents for my father, aunt, and uncle..(my dad's brother and sister)and me of course, the title, gold embossed on the leather jacket and all.
I'm going to share that book with you online. I'm not quite sure where I'm going to put it at...I'm going to say right off hand that I'll probably put it in Lev's Notes, @ blogspot. I'm also not sure if I'll be doing a chapter at a time...or two chapters. But, it will be over a period of time...hopefully, something that you'll be looking forward to, the next chapter to come out. Anyway, as soon as I figure out exactly how I'm going to do it, I'll be sure and let you all know, and I really do hope you enjoy reading it.
So...I guess I'm done yacking for now. I still have sometime before I need to run to the store and pick something up for supper...not sure what, so until I do that, I will probably spend sometime trying to decide how I'm going to do my book.
Hope you all have had a great day, and a wonderful evening ahead.
Much love,
Lev
