Friday is here!
How has everyone been? Hope the past couple of days have been good for you.
Work has still been going great. Finally got all the housework caught up on Wednesday, then spent the rest of the day sorting books...learning how to classify them according to their condition. From there, they will be listed and priced, then put into shelves (or, on the floor as it may be), and then numbered by row, so we will know where to locate the book when someone orders it. I spent all day today...shy of making the bed, sorting through books. Wednesday, we got in 19 boxes of books...needless to say, I didn't finish them on Wed....I didn't finish them today. We're down to 6 boxes. So...tomorrow, I'll be finishing up that, then upstairs to the master bedroom, where books line the floors, the see what can be done up there, and hopefully, some of them on shelves and out of the floor area. Aaron was going out of town tonight, and will be gone tomorrow, but I will be going in and working anyway. There will be books to package and get mailed tomorrow, then, there are still alot of books to go through. It feels pretty good to know that he'd trust me enough to turn me loose in his house...and with his business, and be gone. Hopefully, it is without fear that I'll have everything screwed up when he gets back...lol...let's hope not! I'm just hoping he'll come back and be pleased with what got accomplished.
Amanda had to work, so I went and picked up Landon and the kids, then we stopped to get his friend, Dean, and came back to our house for a spagetti supper. It was pretty good, if I do say so. myself. I put my sauce on to start before I left for work a little before 10, so, it had a while to simmer and cook, and tasted delicious!
I'm going to pick up Landon on Saturday when he gets off, to come help me move some furnature into the lving room...again. lol I just did this not long ago, as you might recall, but Lee wasn't real fond of a couple of things, and since it's been this way, I've found a few thing about it that I don't really like either, so I think I've figured out a way to rememdy that. Hopefully, we can get it done Saturday afternoon. There's a mini-series on Sci-Fi channel, Saturday night..."Arabian Nights" ...the previews look REALLY good, so Landon and the boys may want to stay, especially if Amanda has to work. I imagine they'll come over, even if she doesn't.
With Landon and Lee both having Sunday off, I'm sure we'll probably plan some sort of supper for Sunday evening. Landon had the grill fixed to cook out the other night, then it rained, so he changed his mind. I'm sure he'll wanna try and cook out on Sunday. He loves to grill outside!
Well, I suppose I should head outta here and hit the sack. It is already almost 12:45 am, but this will be early compared to the past few nights, which have been closer to 3am. I guess a little more sleep just "might" be in order, since I do have to go to work tomorrow. So, I bid you all a fond farwell, and hope you had a wonderful day, and a warm evening with loved ones and friends. I'll be back sometime tomorrow. I hope the day that lies ahead, is a beautiful one for you all!
